I will start out by saying the machine we rented was great. We had no issues getting it to work, and it froze our beverages in about 2 hours just as we were told it would. Unfortunately, that is where the good news ends. Jonathan who from my understanding is the owner of this company was highly unprofessional. I consulted a few friends and family members prior to writing this review, we all agree that it is important for you to know what you are getting.
I would like to point out that I am a single woman who lives alone. In my initial phone conversations Jonathan made multiple sexist remarks, this is something I am used to from men and would generally ignore, but the story goes on. Jonathan was planning a trip out of town, as a business owner of course he is trying to make his sale but asked that we store his machine at my house for 2 weeks after the date of the party in a covered area.
I agreed to do so. Once Jonathan arrived at my home, I explained that I would like the machine placed on my deck under cover (this deck has 1 step between the ground and it). He refused to place the machine on the deck and insisted that he put it in my shop outside (the party was the next day). This is a very heavy machine that I had to get help with getting onto the deck.
Two and a half weeks later Jonathan was finally ready to pick up the machine, he at no point tried to coordinate with me so that I could be home for this. What he did do is advise when he would be picking it up. Instead of being prepared and having additional help with him to move this heavy machine, he showed up alone. The machine was on my deck. Jonathan took it upon himself to roam around my property and find any piece of wood (2x4, 4x4, plywood, etc.) that he saw fit to build himself a makeshift deeper step.
I do not mind that he used the wood. I do mind that he rummaged through my belongings and left them where he put them. Something you learn as a small child is to put things back where you found them. Additionally, some of this wood has nails and staples in them that he left sticking straight up, which as we all know is a true hazard. Do not let this man on your property if you are not there. I have not noticed anything missing yet, but it seems obvious that he is not against going through and exploring your property.
