I love Sunflower Rental! I used them for all of the needs for my wedding, and they were awesome. They were professional, helpful, available, easy to reach, affordable, and had great communication. They helped me find everything that I needed, and their selection is quite wide. They had everything I needed and more, and the process of using them was quite easy as well. The pickup and dropoff was easy, and everything was very high quality. 10/10 would recommend for any rental needs!

Great service, great prices. They need 10'-12' fiberglass ladders for rent. They only had aluminum. Electricians don't use aluminum or wooden ladders; only as a last resort.

Rented a cherry picker from them. Placed the unit in my yard to trim trees set the units parking break, placeda 2x4 in front of the a wheel (per my parking lot safety training class) and disconnected from my vehicle. Immediately after discconnecting the equipment rolled forward jumping the 2x4 and into my vehicle and causing damage. The incline I was on wasn't so aggressive that the brake wouldn't hold.

It didn't work at all. Once I returned the equipmet the same sales guy discconnected the unit and set the brake. I leaned against it and it nearly rolled across the parking lot. (Which was witnessed by another customer). After filing a claim with the company, their stance is: the brake works exactly as it should, no repairs have been made to the equipment this is obviously operator error. IF THE BRAKE WORKED IT WOULDN'T ROLL FORWARD! DONT RISK YOUR LIFE WITH THEIR EQUIPMENT! Anderson Rental and United Rentals are way better options.

The staff at Sunflower Rental are great. They are very nice and extremely helpful. I rent equipment from there all of the time. I would highly recommend using this company.

I had the absolute best experience renting from here this past week! They worked with me on returning equipment late due to illness. I have used them many times over the decades and each time found them to be super helpful, with a great selection, and good hours. Sunflower rental made my stressful week a little better.

I've rented equipment from this place for the last 15 yrs. Always paid my bill and always had good service till now. The absolute disrespect I've witnessed by the manager Robin. Refusing to let me speak to the owner and hanging up on my phonecalls. This is definitely not a company id ever recommend again. My bill is around $800 and on a piece of used equipment that is valued around $2000 which I have every intention to return and pay for. Im on my way back from Christmas vacation and held up at an airport and Robin is threatening calling the police.really? What kind of respectful manager or company would act like this? Definitely taking my business elsewhere and i would recommend everyone to do the same.

It's amazing how people's experiences can be so different from time to time, but I really don't know what to think about the totally negative reviews here. Each and every single time, without fail, over years and years (decades?), Sunflower Rental has had exactly what I need, when I need it and at a reasonable price. The people have always been very friendly and easy to work with. No exceptions. Sometimes I think that people get what they expect to get. I expect the best and that's what I get at Sunflower.

This was the worst experience I have had with customer service in Lawrence. Rented an auger for fence post. It was forecast to be bad weather over the weekend so it was a last minute decision. Picked up the auger about an hour before they closed. Was told it would be $45 for overnight rental. Perfectly fine. The weather broke Saturday morning and was negative temps, snow and a weather advisory for the weekend.

I went to early for them to be open apparently and could not get it returned on Saturday morning. Saw on the invoice "OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK" and the website says they are open Sunday as well. Decided to eat an extra day due to was not going to get back that day. Went Sunday morning first thing, as they advertise open at 9am, and again closed. When I was finally able to drop it off on Monday morning first thing I was charged an ungodly amount and was told that would be the charge.

When brought it to there attention that they say, open 7 days a week for MY convenience, they could careless and said they are on holiday hours. I will and suggest that UNLESS YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO DON"T USE THIS LOCATION. I can't speak for the other locations, but because of this, I won't use any. If I could give them less than one star I would.
