I love Mias Bridal and Ms. Mia is the best! So sweet! They really act like they care about you and your special day or your family members special day! Very affordable, no ridiculous mark ups! Always honest, never pressure and never try to sell u on anything you don't absolutely love or need! Also, the other ladies there are wonderful! So sweet and kind!

My wife and I both had some fitting/tailoring work done by then. My suit fits perfectly and looks SO GOOD, they also did a great job on my wife's dress. We were both very pleased with the services rendered. My brother-in-law and soon to be sister-in-law are getting their wedding stuff from them as well. Her dress looks absolutely AMAZING and BEAUTIFUL, and they made the process super easy on renting for him and his groomsmen. We would definitely all highly suggest them, they've been great to work with!

I had such an amazing experience when I first tried on dresses at Mia's bridal! Kaylee was SO helpful! I had an idea of the type of dress I wanted but Kaylee suggested we try on multiple different styles to make sure I knew what I wanted/didn't want. I ended up something that I previously thought I didn't want. I bought a strapless dress and asked Mia to add straps to it. She created the perfect dress for my wedding and I couldn't be happier with not only the dress but my experience!

I worked with Caley to find a dress and she was absolutely wonderful to work with. I felt like she listened to what I wanted and was not pushy all. I went to several dress shops and she was the best of all. I decided whatever dress I was going to buy it would be from her. Everyone there was great and genuinely happy for you. I'd highly recommend Mia's for your shopping experience.

I can't say enough good things about Mia's from start to finish. The consultant at my bridal appointment understood exactly what I was looking for right away, and showed me two gowns I absolutely loved. Ultimately I picked one that I wanted to customize, and Mia brought my vision to life. I got married wearing my dream dress, perfected fitted to me, and had amazing service at every point. I recommend Mia's 100 percent.

I live in NC and my future brother-in-law's wedding is in KC. Had some issues with measurement changes and switched from a purchase to a rental tux. With it being a rental we were worried that I wouldn't be able to try the suit on with enough time to make changes if necessary especially with me flying in the day before the wedding. I ended up getting updated measurements and Mia's made the adjustments and also informed me that the could ship the tux to me and I would receive it approx. 5 days before the wedding and if I still needed to make changes they told me they'd make it happen. Incredibly impressed with their customer service especially in such a high stress time for the Bride & Groom and their families.

I have lots of family in friends who live in the area and will DEFINITELY be recommending them over anyone else! Small businesses over corporate any day. Thank y'all so much for the help and accommodations!

My Mia's Bridal experience was wonderful! I had been there with a friend and loved seeing the back room full of dresses with such reasonable prices! It was way more laid back and personable then some of the other bridal stores I have been to in KC. True Society, etc. The staff is friendly, easy to work with and are not pushy! They took their time and made me feel comfortable.

I am a bigger sized girl and I was so glad they could help me fit in any size dress I wanted! I went with the most beautiful A line, Beaded, Tulle, Allure dress! Alayna was so nice to me and my girls! She gave her opinion but always supported her brides. They have such a great collection in the store! My dress came very timely and they also give discounts for accessories, MOB dresses, suits, bridesmaid dresses and even gown preservation after the wedding! 10/10 recommend Mia's Bridal to other Brides!

I don't usually post reviews, if the service is good I return. However, purchasing your first wedding dress is a one time deal and pretty high on the list of firsts. My experience at Mias rates high on that list of firsts. My consultant Brittany was exceptional. She was so welcoming, kind and so patient. I so appreciate the fact she worked to find the perfect dress with me and did not hesitate to express her opinion on color size or fit without any pressure. She made my experience so special and I will recommend Mias Bridal to every bride seeking that special experience. Thank you Brittany!

Mia did a wonderful job with my dress. The added lace at the top over the chest looked as if it was part of the original design. Also, she did an amazing job shortening the dress. There were lace appliques all around the bottom of the dress which had to be removed and then added back on maintain the dress's look. I was very happy, and I received HUGE compliments from one of my guests who does bridal styling for a living.

Mia's bridal helped me pick out my wedding dress, bridesmaid dresses and my dads tux. They were great to work with and they made the process of finding wedding attire very easy and fun. They took the stress away from the whole process and stayed up to date with contacting me and letting me know when we needed to order the dresses.

This place is amazing. Was very easy to setup an appointment for finding my wedding dress, they made it fun and calm, just what I needed. The girl helping me listened to exactly what I wanted and brought it out first dress! Of course I tried on several more and had to come back later in the day when I felt very sure, but I still love that it was the first dress I tried on. Scheduling and attending dress fittings was easy and efficient. Mia is awesome.

I felt very comfortable in my dress and never wanted to take it off. Now that the wedding is over, Mia's has my dress for cleaning which will be a big task (beach wedding) so we'll see what they can do. But thank you for helping with my wedding day!

The service and staff are good, but the sales and deals are a scam, They had me sign a small contract that waives any returns on goods without informing me of that fact, they had me thinking I was signing a purchase and shipping receipt. Furthermore the suit quality that came was average and slightly bigger than what I tried on forcing me to have alterations made that cost me an extra $100.

The suits are definitely not worth the price at the end of it all which was the reason I tried to return it. I had my grooms men go online and order better quality suits from Topman and non of them had to make any alterations.

Mia was so insanely rude, I have never had an experience like that with any tailor or really any person. I called to book an appointment but it was told I could just walk in, so I did. Mia spent a couple minutes pinning me and I expressed that I wasn't sure about the cost of doing all the alterations since it was almost $200 and would have to ask my mom.

I told her if my mom said no I would gladly pay their $10 charge (which is for the time and effort spent pinning if you decide not to alter). Immediately after I said this she starting ripping the pins out of my dress and saying she refused to do it and I was wasting her time and that she didn't have to do this for me. She was yelling at me for not booking an appointment and running into her next appointment.

I told her I tried to book an appointment and would just pay for the alterations to calm her down but she just flipped and said she wasnt doing it. I was clear from the beginning I wanted to know how much it would cost before I decide and would pay the $10 if I decided not to. I would've gladly either waited for her next appointment to end or made a quick decision had she told me she needed to get to her next appointment but instead she got extremely upset very quickly and told me to leave.

I ordered a bridesmaid dress for a wedding that got canceled. The dress was $180 and ordered in a common size. I called and they won't refund my money and the dress won't be here for another 3 months!

I had the most amazing experience at Mia's! They were able to get me in last minute (the day of). Katie was the one who helped me. She made me feel SO comfortable and was so kind, making me forget about not having any family in town to find my dress. She really went above and beyond. That lady deserves a raise She was able to pick up on what I wanted & found the dress I was dreaming of! Thank you SO much Katie!

Absolutely amazing experience with Ashley. She made me feel welcome, and I had so much fun trying on so many different styles of dresses. I kept comparing every dress to another I found at a different store. When she realized that was the case, she told me that I was meant to get the other dress. Mia's didn't make a sale on me, but I was so happy with Ashley working in my best interest that my mom and I will return to get HER dress from the shop. Excellent place to try on gowns. I'd recommend Mia's to anyone!

After a horrible experience at a chain bridal store appointment, our party called Mia's to see if they could get us in last minute. They said they would be happy to see us in 45 minutes. After our arrival, we were shown to our comfortable seats in front of a beautiful fitting room. Samantha, the attendant asked our bride to be what type of gown she was hoping to find and what budget was she wanting to stay within.

After a brief time, Samantha came back with 7beautiful gowns, all in the style the bride had asked for, all available, all within the budget. Samantha was helpful, accommodating, and fun. Our bride said yes to the dress in under an hour. All six of us cried happy tears and thanked Samantha for her help. While observing the atmosphere at Mia's, we only saw happy customers, happy staff, kindness and care. Mia's is well staffed, clean, organized and focused on giving a positive experience to the bride and her party.

Mia's Bridal was the only bridal store I went to. When I got there, I showed Laura a couple inspiration photos and she took it from there. I think in total I tried on 8 dresses, and I ended up going with the very first one she recommended. It was BEAUTIFUL and I loved it. Mia did my alterations and was really great to work with. She made sure the dress stayed put, fit snuggly in all the right places, and practiced bustling the train with my MOH until she got it down. I had a really easy experience and didn't have to worry about my dress at all.

I can't say enough good things about Mia's Bridal! I was worried they might look down on me for my modest $1,000 budget or try to up-sell me but they never did. They were genuinely invested in making sure I found a dress I loved, and were nothing but helpful, fun, and kind in the process. They also did something brilliant! I was torn between two dresses and they turned down the lights so I could see how my dress would look during the reception -- it made the decision easy. Mia made my dress fit like a glove!

Absolutely perfect. I bought my dress two sizes too small on a sample sale and she switched out the back for a corset and made it look completely stunning! They all truly love what they do and want to make brides happy. So glad I went there.

Mia is a miracle worker. The designer who did my dress messed up my custom order. I'm just under 6'1 and they shortened my dress instead of lengthening it. Mias immediately noticed that it was incorrect and went to bat for me to make sure that it was corrected. When it came back it was still short but the company added as much length to it as the could. Mia was able to add almost 3 inches to the bottom of a tolle dress with lace on the bottom.

You cannot see where the old ends and the addition begins. She did amazing work. Was she cheap, no. Did she do everything she could to make sure my dress was amazing, you bet! I would recommend Mias Bridal and Tailoring to anyone. As a plus sized bride they had dresses to try on in a wide variety of sizes. I think they had up to size 30. I don't recommend the maker of my dress, Bonny Unforgettable but Mias is awesome!

I came in to try on some bridesmaids dresses for my brother's wedding in June. I felt a bit lost as I came in solo, but the staff at Mia's was extremely welcoming & helpful in finding the dresses I needed to try on (we bridesmaids had a choice of 3 very similar dresses by the same designer). They provided me with a room near the desk area so I could easily call out if I needed assistance with a zipper, or buttons, or adjusting.

I wasn't planning to ordering the dress right then, but the ladies continued to be very supportive in helping me make my decision. When I get married I will definitely frequent this shop. Thank you, ladies!

I had a wonderful experience looking for my bridesmaids dresses here. While I ended up going with another store (purely because they had the exact dresses I was looking for) I truly had a wonderful experience and would recommend it to anyone who was looking. They were just so sweet and helpful.

This place was such a nice, fun experience. I have been to one other bridal shop in the KC area. I've just been "window shopping" trying on different dresses trying to find what style/cut that I would like best. This place was very understanding of that and did not once pressure me to buy. My fiance and I are currently living apart because of his job, but he will be transferring back to California, so I have been hesitant to want to buy out here since I'll most likely not be back before the wedding.

I made that clear to Livvie (who was such a doll!) and she answered my questions when I had questions about ordering from them, but having alterations done in California, or even availability of a dress in California. I'm giving them 5 stars because the experience was such a relief from my last trip to another shop. The girls were pleasant and accommodating to my sister-in-law who brought my niece with us.

The atmosphere is friendly and open. I wish I had started my search here rather than else where. I'd seen there sign off of I-35 when my fiance and I started dating and knew that if we were to be married, this was one place I would definitely be checking it out! Thank you ladies of Mia's Bridal for boost my excitement for dress shopping and making it a little easier! You guys are awesome!

When our daughter and I started shopping for her wedding dress, she had vague ideas about what she wanted. She and I had searched online to find reviews for wedding dress vendors in my area and Mia's kept coming up as a highly recommended shop. At her first appointment a year before her wedding, we both knew right away that Mia's was indeed a very special place!

Her dress consultant was warm, approachable, and listened carefully to what she liked and our dress budget. She tried on four dresses she had seen on Mia's website but none of them were right. Her consultant asked her to try a dress she thought she would like that was on budget, and as soon as she saw herself in the mirror wearing the recommended dress she knew she had found the dress she would be married in!

This dress was stunning and she looked beautiful. She fell in love with Dress #5 and hers (and my) wedding dress shopping was done! The staff at Mia's was fantastic during each fitting visit, and Mia did my last fitting herself to ensure that the dress fit was 100% perfect. The shop 's tailors also sewed in an embroidered label that we brought them with the bride's and groom's names and wedding date on it to be sewn on top of lace from my wedding dress to create a special memory hidden inside the skirt of my daughter's dress, and they did a beautiful job.

When our daughter tried on her dress on the day of her wedding, it was absolutely perfect! She said she felt and looked just beautiful as she hoped she would. If you are looking for a great locally owned shop with exceptional personal service and great selection of all kinds of wedding and other dresses with all the accessories and undergarments that might be needed, then Mia's is definitely the place to go! I'm so happy that every time my daughter or I looks at her wedding dress, we'll remember the wonderful time we had finding it, fitting it, and wearing it on her wedding day thanks to Mia and her wonderful staff!

I have a friend getting married out of state and she wants us to all get our dresses from the same dress shop. I told them the brand and style of dress I was needing. Since they had the style in stock in a size that might fit they allowed me to try it on. They also helped take my measurements and figure out what dress size would probably work. Even though they knew I was not purchasing from them today they were very friendly and very helpful. I will definitely use them in the future if I am needing a formal and would recommend them to others!
