I had the pleasure of working with Elite entertainment, specifically Rob Cooper (and Charlie!). I mainly dealt with Rob leading up to my wedding and he was absolutely amazing in all aspects; he walked me through every process, offered suggestions, answered all and every question I had, and was truly so nice and such a pleasure to work with. The day of my wedding went exactly how expected; Rob did everything I asked of perfectly and dealt with some last minute changes and suggestions smoothly and with such patience.
There was actually a specific song I wanted to hear in memory of mom and I had missed it due to being away from the dance floor and Rob SO nicely played it again for me. I can go on and on about how great it was working with him and Elite and how wonderful he made the process and day for me! Rob not only was a wonderful DJ but just an overall wonderful, genuine guy who truly cared about my wedding and that meant so much to me!
I had multiple people tell me how great my DJ was! I will suggest Rob and Elite to anyone who needs a DJ and if I ever need one again I would 10000% turn to them again. Thank you guys so much for making my day so special for me and my husband!

My husband and I used Kevin with Elite Entertainment for our wedding. He was very helpful before the wedding and made us feel comfortable with the plan/layout for the reception. He definitely knows what he is doing! He played music we asked for but was also able to tailor the music to our crowd. He kept everyone on the dance floor which is exactly what we wanted. Thank you Kevin for making our wedding reception great. Would highly recommend him.

Kevin is AMAZING. He checked in with me throughout the entire wedding planning process. He made sure I was happy with every little detail, down to the font of our monogram light for the dance floor. I also used him as my wedding coordinator and got many complements about the flow of the ceremony and reception. He took such a load off of me between navigating the rehearsal and giving my cues for what was about to come next. I would recommend him to anyone. He is also a certified travel agent and can help plan your honeymoon!

Attended a holiday luncheon where Kevin was DJ'ing and entertainment. Had a fabulous time. Who knew music BINGO was a thing? Well, it is and Kevin made it so much fun. I highly recommend his services. Our normally, quick luncheon turned out to be the highlight of my day today. Thanks for a great time.

We used Elite Entertainment for our wedding this past Saturday. Kevin and his son were SO wonderful. During wedding party pictures he checked in to see if we needed anything and brought us water. He was courteous and professional. The music was perfect, and the dance floor was never empty! I would recommend Kevin over and over again!

Kevin is the world's best DJ. Honestly I am so grateful to him -- I truly feel the wedding day would have been lost without him. Not only was he perfect as a DJ and played the best music and all the songs I wanted and all the songs my kids loved dancing to, but truly he was also my wedding organizer for the day too because without him making announcements and helping us figure out how to walk down the aisle and when, announcing our first dance, and even announcing when it was time to blow bubbles as we left, I just don't feel like the event would have flowed anywhere near as smoothly as it did because of Kevin. Thank you Kevin from the bottom of my heart!

Kevin was our choice of DJ for our wedding on May 7, 2016 and he is the essence of the word Professional. It was a multi-cultural event with people of Colombian, Mexican, Italian and American backgrounds and Kevin kept the reception rocking with his smooth flowing music choices that kept everyone dancing all night. We were nervous that one group may feel left out if the music wasn't done right but Kevin put all our nerves to rest with how well he handled the playlist. Kevin far exceeded our expectations as a DJ.
He met with us multiple times before the wedding face to face and was extremely easy to communicate with from phone calls to emails and texts. During the reception he wasn't stuck behind the DJ booth. He constantly made rounds, checking on my wife and I and also making sure guests were having a good time. Our reception was held on the rooftop of the Holiday Inn Center City in Charlotte, NC and the sound of the music even in the busy city was perfect. Kevin had awesome lighting effects and everyone could be heard very well during speeches and toasts. Kevin is also a genuinely nice guy. I would trust him to get the party started in any kind of event possible. We certainly recommend Kevin for DJ services at any event you may be planning!

Kevin Porter - Elite Entertainment. Enough said. Got married last weekend. Kevin DJ'd ceremony and reception. Could not ask for more and cannot say enough of his services. Personal service at its best. Kevin walked us through the process from day 1. Website he sets up for your personal event is excellent. He lets YOU make it YOUR day. When it comes to songs he has them all. I'm not a dance song person (any more), pretty much country.
But when it came for dance songs at the reception, Kevin took care of it at the highest level. His customer service is the best. Treated us better than you could imagine on a very personal level. Never made us feel that what we wanted was too difficult or inconvenient. Whatever we wanted, he accommodated. When you need to DJ ANYTHING, look no further than Kevin Porter at Elite Entertainment. You WILL NOT be disappointed.

A week or so before the wedding, as a nervous bride, he completely calmed my nerves when we met to discuss the wedding timetable. From having our guests sit down after the ceremony began, to bringing us ice water after the ceremony he really was on top of things. I can't believe I haven't reviewed Elite Entertainment, yet?!? Kevin DJ'd one of the largest events I've ever thrown and he was absolutely wonderful. Not only was he professional from start to finish, but he was helpful, listened to what I was trying to accomplish and stayed on point all night! It's so refreshing to find a DJ who is truly in the business to make his customers happy and play to the crowd instead of his own ego.
If you're looking for a DJ for a wedding, special event or corporate party - Kevin has the equipment, know-how and *people skills* to get it done. I look forward to using Elite Entertainment again and am happy to refer him on to other folks looking for a great DJ in the Charlotte-ish area.
