SMS Catering Services did an Excellent job on my 50th Birthday Celebration in Charlotte NC. I was pleased with the promptness, cleanliness and the professionalism they showed to me and my guests. I was treated with royalty and will definitely use them again in the future.

SMS exceeded our expectations. What stood out the most was how responsive Bob was from start to finish. Bob and his team did everything they said they were going to do, and even showed up early to begin setup. The food was tasty, hot and served with a smile. Our team members LOVED their Thanksgiving lunch! We also liked that they brought their own tables and set everything up perfect. We highly recommend SMS Catering Service. Thanks Bob and Team!

Mr. Freeman and his staff went above and beyond our expectations. They were prompt, courteous and extremely professional. The food was prepared in a timely fashion and they were ready to go at the exact time we requested. Bob stayed in constant contact with me throughout the whole process. I highly recommend and would give 10 stars if allowed. Use them for all your catering needs. You will not be disappointed

We were meant to have our party at this venue. It was absolutely incredible, and went off without a hitch. The food was excellent, and the venue was beautiful. We had wings, fried shrimp oysters, and the fruit tower. It was absolutely beyond anything I had envisioned. Beyond that, Robert and Bob made the planning process easy and enjoyable. They were responsive, flexible, and always professional, and went out of their way to accommodate any and all requests. I cannot recommend Sms Catering enough!

Wonderful dealing with Bob! We needed catering for a party 3 days away and he made it happen! Extremely professional and accommodating. Food was excellent, his son Robert came in and set up and Helen came and stayed until the end. I highly recommend this catering service and will certainly use it again. Thanks so much!

What an amazing meal for our wedding. We chose the Luau theme with roasted pig and it was beyond amazing. Not only that but their follow through and preparation prior to the event with multiple phone calls just. to check for any changes was wonderful. I had to change our date 3 times due to Covid and they worked with me each time. Highly recommend

I can't thank SMS Catering for making my son's rehearsal party such a success. The food arrived early (they chop the pork fresh!) and was set up before our guests arrived. They brought everything needed for food service. The food was outstanding- every guest raved about it. The customer service was even better with both Bob and Robert literally catering to each guest.

And a special note. our son's wedding was postponed 2 weeks after 2 of the bride's sisters contracted Covid. Not only did SMS offer to postpone the event with NO penalty, but they were free to be rebooked on the new date. I'll use SMS catering exclusively from now on!

SMS Catering service catered my party and they were great to work with. Everything was set up and beautiful for the event. The food was great. Their venue is a hidden gem in Charlotte. I would highly recommend their service to anyone looking for a beautiful place to host an event.

My wedding was June 12, 2021 and I had choose roast beef and grilled chicken. Literally all of my guest said the food was disgusting, cold and had no flavor. The first thing I ate was the green beans and they was so nasty. Even though this was my wedding day I will never forgot how bad the food was. The company don't allow you to sample the food. They told me that the roast beef is a slab and it was be extremely expensive to sample.

I was quite embarrassed to hear everyone talk about how nasty the food was because I trusted sms catering. I don't recommend you book this catering company unless you want to be disappointed. Also, my friends were trying to stop me from looking out the window because they arrived late. The food is as set up late. I was not happy as a bride because of all of this. Very disappointed because we spent so much money with this company.

Mr. Bob is awesome I just recently had my wedding here and everything was fabulous the food was spectacular and my guest raved about the space and how welcoming the staff was I will be using the facility again

SMS Catering Services is a hidden gem! I had never heard of it nor ever attended an event there until today! It had beautiful outdoor scenery and space as well as a spacious indoor entertaining area and the food was delicious! It is the perfect location for a wedding or any event to accommodate indoor and outdoor festivities!.

We had an excellent experience working with SMS catering and renting their banquet hall. They were BEYOND accommodating and kind. If we needed something they always had an option and were able to make it happen. This is a family run business that truly cares about each client and the success of their events.

Wonderful space for the nonprofit event I attended! They had ample parking and party space! I would recommend this space for anyone looking to have a one venue wedding and reception! They have a covered outdoors space complete with fountains, string lighting, and seating!

The tents/tables/chairs that we rented for our outdoor evening church function were classy and absolutely beautiful. Perfect. Delivered on time and picked up on time. Never once even saw the delivery personnel. Professional service. We will absolutely rent from SMS again.

I found SMS Catering when I was looking for my wedding a year or two ago. We used them for a work picnic for 130 people serving at 2 different times. SMS worked with out budget and provided and exceptional amount of food. We did the Hamburger and Hot dog combo- they were delicious. Bob was great to work with. He was very polite, diligent in meeting our needs and the food tasted great. I could not have asked for a better experience. Our cook was also very nice and helpful also. Thank you so much!

The food was great. The BBQ and chicken were fantastic. The "banquet hall" doesn't blow you away from the outside, but the inside looks really nice and is VERY reasonably priced for what you're getting. We were told different things by different people a few times. We corresponded with Anna the most, and she was quite nice/helpful during the entire process.

The staff the day of were very nice as well. My biggest issue is: We paid for 100 people to come to our wedding. Not nearly that many people came (maybe 70-80, including kids), yet there was barely any food left? We also had our rehearsal dinner here, simple hotdogs and hamburgers. They seemed hesitant to bring out more food until it was to the point where people were waiting.

Several guest stated that some people, one person in particular, didn't seem very friendly. I think the food situation was also because of this individual. Other than that it was a very pleasant experience

I attended an event here recently and was blown away! 100% first class all the way. The pulled pork was to die for. Great facility! Perfect for the whole family to attend an event. It's obvious why SMS is one of the oldest and most established catering outfits in Charlotte. They really know how to treat their guests. Do yourself a favor and choose these guys for your next event. Trust me - you won't regret it!
