Called to inquire about chair rentals and they guy sounded super shady! He quoted me $225.00 for delivery, $525.00 total, big rip off. Do not trust this place! They are predators and take advantage of people who are planning important events. Poor customer service, not personable at all!

A to Z was amazing. Not only was it half the price but they acommodated an additional request the day before the wedding without batting an eye. They were on time to pick up and drop everything off and always super helpful when we talked to them.

We ordered curtains, hot dog machine, popcorn machine and snow cone machine, and chairs for a cheerleading event. Popcorn machine was non functional after the first 2 minutes, the hot dog machine had broken buttons and someone had to stand there the whole event holding the button in to keep the machine on, the curtains were dirty, didn't match, were see through and the curtain stands were a hazard and kept falling on people so we had to take them down before the event even started.

The chairs were FILTHY, we had to HIRE people to come in with soapy water and wipe down chairs before we could allow people to sit in them. Using this company RUINED our event. On top of that, near 15 phone calls and messages have been left unanswered. I charged back my card as services/products were not delivered as promised, but the owner had the absolute GALL to report that I signed for it, so I owed it.

I will wait for a response, which will likely never come - so I guess we will resolve this in small claims court. 831-801-3343 if you'd like to contact me to resolve the issue.

Extremely rude man telling me he wasted his time driving to pick up and called me to meet there but to find out he had the wrong number. When I called him the day of pick up and left a message with my phone number. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Charged us $6 for a "missing" champagne glass worth $0.50 without any warning or contract agreement on price. Shady.

I'm giving them 1 star for customer service.they are really pleasant and I appreciate the person who called me ahead of time to confirm my rental. On the other hand I rented 30 white chairs that were not actually white and about 5 of them were broken/cracked and so dirty I had to hand clean them one by one! I'm so disappointed because I have rented from them in the past and my last experience was ok.

I questioned the female assistant who was there and she said there is a lot of dust that passes through the warehouse so equipment gets pretty dusty there but I was more disappointed about old stuck on food that we had to clean off chairs. I honestly will never use them again. There are more rental places out there I have heard about so I'm definitely going to shop around next time.

We have been using A to Z Rental Center for four years to put up tents, tables and chairs for an annual event in the Monterey area. Chris is great to work with and gets right on last minute changes we always make so our event is perfect. Their tear down team is quick and efficient as we need to be cleared out of our site the same day.

We used A to Z Rental for our wedding at the Bar SZ Ranch. Everything was perfect and easy. We went in to visit the warehouse beforehand so we could choose what we wanted. Throughout the process they were easy to communicate with. The delivery men were very professional and did a great job.

Chris and his team worked effectively to make my Granddaughter's wedding and after reception a smooth event. The rental product, including a dance floor, had to be delivered, set up and removed in a very tight window and they were "on schedule" each step of the way. Excellent service, friendly and courteous, good equipment and all at a fair price. Great job, thank you!

I used to help coordinate events at a venue in Big Sur. We worked with A to Z a few times and there rentals were just mediocre. The white chairs were never actually white. The linens were always just a little off ( in color & size) The tents always looked like they needed to take a bath. I mean if its a last minute rental I would probably use them again. but I will stick with other companies in the area first.

My husband and I got married a few weeks ago and we rented tables, chairs, table cloths and napkins from A to Z rental center in Seaside. We compared their prices to some other rental stores in Monterey and Watsonville and they had very reasonable prices. I would highly recommend them!

I tried to set up a contract with A-Z for my wedding rentals. Correspondence was brief and not very friendly. When I tried to confirm my final contract details, I called and then followed up with an email the same day. Two days later, after receiving no response, I emailed again. I finally got a response eleven days later. By then I had found another vendor who was enthusiastic, helpful, and returned my calls and emails in less than an hour. Best decision ever!

I've been working with A-Z since I started my business 22 years ago! I merged with another company 2 years ago and we STILL use them. Matt at the front desk is enormously patient with me as I change my orders leading up to an event.and Chris, the owner will come after hours to bring me what I need. Even the poor guys who have to come out at 11pm to load up heaters and tables.are amiable and nice! I'm still a fan after 22 years.

I used A to Z for all the supplies for my wedding (dishes, silverware, specialty linens, and decorations) and was completely satisfied with their prices and customer service. In fact, they were significantly cheaper than their competitors and we're cool-headed and accommodating when I needed to change numbers based on changing RSVPs. They also gave us a huge break by delivering the items a day early (with no extra charge) so that we would have an extra day for set-up.

It looks like a number of the bad reviews are based on a female manager who is no longer working there. The owner and all other staff we worked with were personable and helpful, and I would definitely return to A to Z for my next event.

These guys are terrible. I drove in their back lot looking to get a tank of propane filled. three different employees saw me. two said they would be out in a moment. but NOBODY helped me and I waited 15 minutes or so. Spent the time to find a different place to buy propane and simply left. The place was a mess. not organized. and glad there is a forum like YELP to let other folks know.

I have had the pleasure of working with Chris and his crew for over 15 years. As an event planner I have been able to call on them for most all of my rental needs and have always been happy with the price and service. On a recent occasion I was able to call him for a large tent to be installed the next day. It's not that we didn't know it could rain but we cautiously waited it out until we got closer to the event.

I called Chris on Friday and he said he'd let us decide on Saturday morning. No nonrefundable deposit or credit card needed to reserve it. THIS IS WHAT I CALL GOOD OLD- FASHIONED CUSTOMER SERVICE! We ended up getting the tent and they delivered and set it up when we needed it and within the tight time frame. They only charged what it normally would have cost and produced a beautiful tent that my clients were thrilled with.

I wish they had the humongous inventory that the big boys in the Bay Area have but they are great for what I need them for. I look forward to working with them for many years to come. PS

Ok, so I didn't rent from them. After a couple emails, I was less then enthused with the lack of customer service. My advice: 1. Be specific in what you want 2. ask for an itemized quote 3. ask about delivery charges: ($200) and extra fees (+$50 Sun).
