This place is a joke and should be out of business. Do your due diligence and read the reviews. They have no inkling of customer service, have zero ability to communicate efficiently, and the "manager" is rude, abrasive, unknowing and blatantly lies over and over. The prices are outrageous and the shop is dumpy. RUN away from her. Spend a bit more time and travel elsewhere, it will save your sanity in the long run! Don't risk your important event dress with this pathetic operation.

Robert is amazing! All of the staff is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and passionate! I've gotten my homecoming, prom, and now wedding gown here! QUALITY!

Got my wedding dress here and altered in the midst of a global pandemic. We kept communication about alterations and since I live in a different state we had to make appointments on weekends to make the dress everything and more. It fit like a glove and was perfect. Go visit them! They are so nice and have so many different style prom and wedding dresses!

They're taking great care of my sister. She found a beautiful bridal gown at a reasonable price.

My daughter and her bride's maids all purchased their dress from Babette's. The dresses are AMAZING! If you want real quality this is the place to go! Robert who does alterations is amazing and a blessing, he is truly gifted as well as a professional! He makes Babette's!

Not happy with this shop at all! I went tried on a few wedding dresses fell in love with one! The one I tried on in the shop fit amazing, they went ahead and took my measurements and ordered me the dress witch is a jasmine! They never called to tell me my dress was in I had to call multiple times. Here is the WORST PART I go in to pay off dress try it on and pick it up. HORRIBLE my dress is about 5 sizes to big!

I have my paperwork that they gave to me with pickup my measurements are so wrong! I'm so frustrated with and sick about it! I did take my dress elsewhere for alterations, and she has done all that can possible be done with this dress it's still about 2 sizes to big, and it's making me hate my dress since it doesn't fit. What's that point in spending 1,818.00 my wedding is next weekend and there is nothing I can do. Also now I have heard nothing but bad things about them and ordering the wrong sizes for many brides.

WARNING: Do NOT shop here! I WAS LIED TO MULTIPLE TIMES. I ordered my dress in December of 2018. They said they were going to place my order for a new dress then and there. I went home and searched my dress online and noticed it was a dress from 2014 and discontinued. I began to worry that maybe they weren't ordering me a new dress and selling me the dress off the rack.

I went back a few months later to get my bridesmaid dresses ordered. I noticed I couldn't find my dress anywhere on the floor because I wanted to show my bridesmaids. The lady went upstairs and pulled it out of storage. I asked AGAIN and said, you ARE ordering me a new dress, correct? She said that they always pull the dress off the floor to be safe in case the new dress wasn't to come in in time or anything were to happen.

And assured me I would be getting a new dress. 7 months later, I got a call saying my dress was in and to make an alterations appointment. I showed up and the dress was THE SAME DRESS I TRIED ON. They never ordered me a new one. And REFUSED to tell the truth. When yet, I have pictures and proof. The first picture I have was taken in December and missing the 5th button cover.

The "new dress" was missing the same 5th button. And a huge snag on the left breast on BOTH "different dresses". I asked for a receipt to prove it. They couldn't provide an order form receipt. I asked to see the original dress then if this was a new dress. They said they sold that dress off the rack for 60% off. Even though IT HAD BEEN IN STORAGE UPSTAIRS SO THEY COULDN'T HAVE SOLD IT.

I left in tears but continued on. Alterations. Robert (the manager) was the rudest human being and had horrible customer service skills. I brushed off the fact it wasn't a new dress and let him do alterations. They had promised me they could do all these alterations to it to make it exactly how I wanted. Instead, Robert destroyed my dress. And every time I would go to pick up my dress, it would still have pins in it, wasn't finished, and was constantly trying to be fixed. Went to pick up my dress and I was still tripping over it.

He was horrible and was so lazy with alterations. After so many tears, my mom said screw it. We ended up going to David's Bridal who was able to get me a dress, alterations, and everything within two days. I pick up my dress on Thursday and I am SO thankful they were able to help me. Lesson learned. 1,500 dollars down the drain. No refund from them. PLEASE AVOID. And if you need a last minute (or even any dress at all) David's bridal is there to help!

Nice gowns and size selection! Took my daughter prom dress shopping this morning and she tried on several dresses (approx 5 or 6 diff dresses). Staff was very friendly and helpful without being pushy. When she found dresses she liked the girl even suggested my daughter sit down in a chair to make sure she'd feel not only beautiful, but comfortable as well :) by suggesting this she actually helped my daughter eliminate a dress she was considering.

When my daughter couldn't decide between 2 dresses that were exactly the same dress but in a diff color the girl helping my daughter took a poll with other shoppers in the store as well as employees. My daughter went with the purple gown and couldn't be happier:) Thank You so much Babette's and esp to the young lady (sorry I didn't catch your name and my daughter isn't home for me to ask) for an amazing prom shopping experience!

I can only speak to the bridal part of this establishment but they seemed to have a major selection of "prom" dresses downstairs. However, upstairs is strictly bridal. I worked with Robert and he was just amazing. He fit me in when there was an appointment error and made sure my time with him was focused on me and my party. He truly listened to everything I was saying, never seemed to get impatient, joked with me and was ready and willing to customize anything I wanted.

You can tell he has done this a long time and knows exactly what he's doing. I ended up leaving with the perfect dress at an amazing price within my budget and I didn't even expect to buy this soon. Would recommend this place for sure. Not to mention there bridal area upstarts is so very cute and private! The whole experience was an A+. Thank you so much!

I purchased my wedding dress here in 2018. It was a positive experience and I left a happy customer. Fast forward a year later, I scheduled my first fitting. Since I opted for the layaway program, everyone I'd spoken with on the phone told me I could pay the rest of the balance anytime, no problem. We arrived promptly for our appointment, escorted to the bridal suite.

My mom, friend and I all waited patiently to be seen. Twenty minutes go by, no one had checked on us. Then this guy walks in, asks when I purchased the dress and what it looks like. Confused, I tell him last April and showed him a picture. At this point, I'm wondering why my dress isn't hanging in the suite, ready for alterations. He proceeds to tell me he can't find it and it could have been put back out on the floor and sold.

We were all shocked as he seemed to not care and told us he'd continue to look. Considering I had made this appointment two weeks in advance, why were they just now trying to locate my dress?! Another 20 minutes go by and he comes back with a shop girl, asks to see my picture again and tells me they still can't find it. At this point, we are all starting to get upset and I'm trying not to panic.

After being there for an hour and 45 minutes, we decided we'd waited long enough with no answers, we got up to leave. My mom said something to a group of girls in the showroom and he proceeded to yell at her to get out. My friend and I turned around to address him because we wanted an explanation on what the hell was going on. He told us he had been the manager there for 20 years, which completely contradicted his complete lack of professionalism in handling this situation.

I asked him why if I made my appointment two weeks ago, my dress waiting for me to begin alterations? He had no response. But he did tell us at least 3x that he was leaving the next day to visit his son whom he hadn't seen in a year. Not sure what that had to do with my missing dress, but ok. He also tried to manipulate the conversation when I told him if he couldn't find it, I wanted my money back.

My friend stepped in to say "we get you have a life but this is her wedding dress and you're the manager. How are you going to fix this? What's your cell number? How late is the shop open?" etc. This was a very emotional, tense situation made 10x worse by the most unprofessional person I've ever dealt with. He never once apologized or tried to deescalate the situation.

The only positive part of this nightmare is they did find my dress hours later. I get that things go missing, staff changes, etc. But the fact that we endured hours of unnecessary stress and were treated horribly by management was not worth it at all. Do not go here.

My favorite bridal salon in the area. I bought my prom gown there in 1988, and I've taken my daughter for every formal gown she's needed for high school. Yes, they do have styles that are a couple of years old, however, nobody has ever seen the dresses before, and that makes them one of a kind. Service has always been excellent, especially Bob and Lila.

They are fantastic at pulling gowns and make you feel like the most important person in the salon. They can handle more than one customer and still make you feel like you're the only person in the salon.

I have driven by this store for over 40 years and never knew what a gem it was. My daughter needed a dress for a Medallion Ball and we started our search. Babette's was our second and ultimately last stop. Pam our gown consultant was AMAZING! She doted over my daughter as if she were her own child. We met the owner and he was wonderful as well. We found my daughter's dress and couldn't be happier. Prices at the store are reasonable- if you tell them the price range you want they will find a dress for you in that price range. Layaway is an option. alterations are very reasonable. Highly recommend this boutique!

Beautiful dresses, we found exactly what my daughter was looking for. The staff was very helpful and friendly, matter of fact we told her an idea of what we were looking for and she was ultimately the who picked out the dress we ended up buying! Unfortunately our experience was completely joyous. my daughter's dress was supposed to have a corset and a privacy panel in the back, which we paid extra for ($54 extra) The corset was there and it looked beautiful, but the privacy panel was not. they offered to add the privacy panel but wanted to keep the dress another night, the Prom was 3 days away and we live about 40 minutes away from the store.

So we just told them to forget about it and took the dress as was, they did not even offer to refund us what we paid extra for the privacy panel. Their dresses are all beautiful, but a bit pricey! We paid almost $600 for a dress for one night, which yes I know was our choice, but the dresses were all a bit on the expensive side. But all so very beautiful! The smile on my baby girls face was priceless!

I may be biased, but I found my dream wedding dress at Babette's and couldn't be more thrilled. I went to a bridal show over the summer and met Savannah, a consultant at Babette's. She was extremely friendly and helpful, so I decided to book an appointment at Babette's with her. In the days before my appointment, Savannah texted me and asked what style of dress I was looking for.

I sent her some pictures and she said she would pull some dresses that fit my style. Fast forward to the day of the appointment. When I pulled up to Babette's, it honestly doesn't look like much so my expectations were low at that point. When we walked in, there were a ton of homecoming and prom dresses. All different styles, lengths and colors.

We were greeted quickly and was shown upstairs to the bridal section. Once upstairs, Savannah said we could look around and pull at dresses we liked so that I could try them on. I really appreciated that because it gave me a chance to really look at the dresses. Savannah said she would pull some too - ones that weren't my style, but still beautiful, just to see if I liked anything.

Long story short, I ended up purchasing a dress that Savannah picked that wasn't my "style." Savannah was so extremely helpful through the entire dress process. I can't tell you enough how great she is to work with. Babette's is a bit off the beaten path, but their dress selection is awesome- there is something for everyone! I'd like to add that they carry a lot of options in larger sizes, so it really is an all inclusive space for everyone!

I had the most WONDERFUL experience shopping at Babette's and I am truly, truly grateful to Sasha and Teri for everything they did to make this perfect for me! I just went through a pretty tough life-changing situation and I'm definitely not my best self lately. My son is getting married in September -- so I needed a dress. The minute I came in to Babette's I was greeted and directed to the area for mother-of-the-bride dresses.and Sasha and Teri never left my side. Sasha recommended gowns I would have NEVER picked and Teri recommended different possibilities to each like sleeves or jackets and shoes and jewelry.! WHAT A FUN EXPERIENCE!

I had trouble selecting because they were ALL GORGEOUS and so reasonably priced! I CANNOT say ENOUGH about how much their help, attention and kindness meant to me. I so dreaded a trip to look for a dress and it ended up being such a fun experience and I don't think I've felt that happy in a long time! You made me feel special and you made me feel loved.

A million HUGS to you BOTH for giving me the chance to really enjoy myself picking a dress! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE my dress and I am so excited to finish the final touches with shoes, jacket and jewelry (Teri I'm going to take you up on your help there too!). I LOVE you both! I will NEVER FORGET WHAT YOU DID FOR ME!

Heard horrible things about this place and a friend recently had a horrible experience. This place needs to close, don't bother even looking. No wonder they only have a max of 2 stars overall, should be 0!

These people are very nice. I must have tried on 25+ MOB dresses. Came here and was lucky enough to get an older lady who understood what I needed to cover and accentuate. Huge selection and the stuff was very friendly.

We purchased my daughters prom dress there. Please be aware that they sell past seasons dresses and try to pass it as exclusive dress! When I tried to talk the the manager. She was very rude. When I questioned her that I couldn't find it online. She told me all kind of stories why I couldn't find it! Then when I did found it on line it was from 2012.

The manager proceeds to tell its exclusive to their store and its one of kind! When I asked to speak to speak to the owner. She told me that the owner is an absentee owner and she handles all issues. I kept on demanding a discount of the dress. The manager did eventually did give me a discount. It's not what I wanted but my daughter loved her dress and she looked beautiful on her prom day!

We found multiple beautiful dresses that we absolutely loved! I found my dress here 6 years ago and now my sister has found her dress here. It's always a great experience with phenomenal customer service. We drove all the way from Ohio just for this store and I can honestly say it is worth the trip.

The manager of this place needs an attitude adjustment and certainly could use some manners. As I found a dress I love I could not bring myself to purchase it after reading such Aweful reviews and one of my bridesmaids already have a terrible experience in a previous wedding I refuse to let horrors of what brides express happen to me. This place should close.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Worst experience I've ever had. It was my 4th time going to look for dresses I chose Babettes because I knew they had many dresses. The staff is absolutely horrible and rude. I left the place crying, twice. I had put a dress on hold and wanted to switch it for a dress I absolutely loved and once I found out that dress was sold I wanted help in order to find something else perfect but the woman did not care or help at all. Canceled my dress and now have a gift certificate that I promise I will not be using. Babettes has made me question if I even want to continue looking or even go to prom. DO NOT GO THERE.

I wish I would have read these reviews before I took my daughter there. We went on a Saturday, granted, I knew they would be busy with prom season. Upon entering, I also thought how is this not a fire hazard! The sales girls were rude, and very unprofessional. After going through these racks of dresses and finding a few to try on, nobody helped my daughter!

She at one point asked me "am I invisible"? We left the dresses in the dressing room and got the hell out of there! This was a horrible experience for her! Luckily we went to Exquisite Bridal in Murrysville and had a wonderful experience! Mad I wasted my gas to to Babette's! HORRIBLE!

I really would want to give Babette's no stars. They were absolutely horrible! First off, the staff is not friendly at all and I think they are stuck up. I got a homecoming dress there in 2012 that I loved, it was covered in sequins. Because it was such an elaborate dress we decided to get the alterations done there, thinking they'd know what they were doing.

I went in for my first fitting and I noticed sequins were coming off, we told the lady who did alterations and she said she's tighten them, I still had to come back again to try it on, cause she still had to work on bringing it in. The second time, more sequins were coming off and she said she'd fix them again, the third time everything seemed okay.

On the night of homecoming, I was so careful in the dress, I was very cautious of everything I was doing while in the dress. I was holding it up, wasn't stepping on it or anything, but the time homecoming was over multiple threads of sequins were undone and a whole patch of the sequins on my dress were gone. I was so upset, Babette's is not cheap and the dress was poor quality for that amount on money!

We took the dress back and told/showed them what happened, they said that somehow it was my fault, when there was no way possible it could of been! They did end up giving us a credit towards another gown which was good, but I never wanted to get another gown from them after that nightmare! I got my prom dress there since I had the credit and I wasn't going to get a dress for a dance again, I had to use it. I will never recommend to anyone to go here! Worst dress place ever!

This is a sorry business establishment. And I didn't even get through the door! I had a bridal appointment scheduled for an evening last week. When I arrived prior to my scheduled time, the lights were off and a sign was taped to the door. Apparently, Babette's was closed due to "winter weather." I did not even receive a phone call informing me about the closing.

I completely understand when businesses have to close due to inclement weather as I am an elementary teacher; however, on this very day, it snowed early in the morning, but cleared up as the day went on. In fact, my future mother-in-law drove from 3 hours away in the same weather Babette's closed for. In what was supposed to be an exciting and happy memory of my first bridal shopping experience, Babette's failure to contact me and make me aware of their closing was a complete disappointment and waste of our time.

Their lack of consideration for their clients is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. When I called and left a voicemail asking for an explanation, the manager returned my phone call the next day and left a message claiming they had attempted to contact me, but had a "wrong number." I have not returned their call since I would not purchase anything from Babette's at this point; however, I have yet to receive a follow-up from them, which tells me they truly don't care for my business, nor are they sorry for their mistake.

The customer service of this establishment is a complete joke. Not only did they not contact a client when circumstances arose, but they prove that they do not care about their clients and their special moments. I would not recommend Babette's to anyone.

I recently went for dress shopping with other bridesmaids in an upcoming wedding. First impression: The dresses in the window look like pageant dresses. are we in the correct place? We walk inside and the young woman, was sort of cold and unwelcoming. Not that she was rude, just apathetic to our presence. She leads us upstairs. Second impression: How has the Fire Marshall for Bridgeville not shut them down?

There is NO way they are up to code. If there were a fire, we'd probably all die. The store is PACKED with dresses and no single egress that is more than 12" wide (federal law mandates that all egresses in a public building have 36" clearance). Plus at one point we had to walk over a stage in order to get to the stairs. So we get upstairs to the bridal. it's just as packed as downstairs.

The sales clerk tells us "Okay, pick out what you want." She never asked us what we were willing to spend, what we were looking for, or anything. Overall: Tons of inventory, good luck finding anything. And hopefully you won't get caught in a fire or emergency in that building. Also, you'll need a lookout when you're in the bathroom, there's no doorknob and a gaping hole where it should be.

I wouldn't ever go back here, the sales clerks were not helpful. The prices weren't really great enough. Instead, try Bridal Beginning in Mt. Lebo. Same lines of dresses, much more helpful, and prices were just about the same. And if you're bigger than an 8, good luck. Our party follows the national average, and two of us had problems getting a number of samples zipped up. I'm a 10, which is still smaller than the average 12/14, so it was frustrating.

I actually refuse to go back to Bridgeville in general because of the horrible experience me and my fellow bridesmaids had here. Terrible service, they were extremely rude, disorganized, and they almost ruined my best friends wedding. We ordered our dresses 4 months before the wedding, they placed it wrong and we did not get the dresses till 4 days before the wedding. which was in Florida!

No apologizes, nothing, and they acted like it was somehow our fault or we were inconveniencing them. NEVER AGAIN. My dress also started falling apart BEFORE the wedding even started!

If there was any way I could give this place negative stars I would. I am getting married in May, and I am not prone to outbursts, or to be stressed out at all. This horrible place seems like it has gone above and beyond to try to drive me and my bridal party crazy. Do NOT go to there! I repeat! DO. NOT. GO. THERE. My story can't even fit into this box.
