Palate Pleasers

As a long time customer, Just found out today from manager that the food preparers and front people do not wear masks. This is despite rising Covid Infections in our Annapolis community. The hypocrisy is that their website and sign on front door asks customers to please wear masks. I am saddened about this deception.

I just got 200 cupcakes for my baby shower and they were wonderful! Everyone raved about them! I recommend trying every flavor! Each one was amazing!

I contacted Palate Pleasers about catering a dinner during my son's Commissioning Week from the US Naval Academy. I was emailing with Eric and we decided on a menu and I told him I would like to move forward and place the order. He never responded. I emailed him again, I called and left a message, I called and spoke with someone who assured me Eric would be in touch the next day.nothing.

I sent a final email telling him that unless I heard from him within the next day I would be going with another caterer. It's been a week and I still haven't heard back. I'm very disappointed in the lack of professionalism and common courtesy. Needless to say Palate Pleasers will NOT be catering my event.

I can't express enough the gratitude I have for Palate Pleasers. We used them to cater our Grand Opening, and they did a phenomenal job. From the presentation to the quality of the food. just incredible! We will certainly use them for all of our events. Thank you, Palate Pleasers!

This store's food is nothing special but their prices are exorbitant. What is special is their advertising skills not food making skills. The owner of this store does not rely on conventional advertising. Instead he constantly develops new advertising ideas and puts them into effect. If a store has unproportionately a large number of five-star reviews, one should have reasonable skepticism that some of those who write the five star reviews are not its real customers. It is said that some stores' five star reviews are left by relatives, friends, suppliers, contractors or employees.

Once again palate pleasers hit it out of the park. The food is amazing, the ideas are unique and the staff is top notch. The head caterer met us on her day off to make sure we got the leftovers. Amy is easy to work with. I highly recommend! We have used them for both our children's bar and bat mitzvahs.

Palate pleasers is a solid choice for a work lunch. It is quick with healthy options to choose from. I got the caesar last time with steak and I was not disappointed. Next time I might try one of the other salads.

Kristin and I were stunned from the first tasting through the end of the wedding and with all the interactions in-between. Amy Daniels was the best caterer we could've asked for. Everything was coordinated, efficient, and over-the-top; the wait staff, bartender, and even the guys delivering and removing tables and chairs were all excellent. As for the food itself we'd rate it 6 stars out of 5, and that includes the best salad I've ever had, the crab cakes, and beef tenderloin. I'll also say this: I'd never heard of polenta before Palette Pleasers, but it's a new favorite of mine. You don't want to miss out on their polenta dish.

Palate Pleasers did an amazing job catering my son's Rehearsal Dinner this past weekend at Paca House in Annapolis! They really listened and helped capture my simple, but elegant Southern theme. They helped me navigate the vegetarian and meat eaters options gracefully with a delicious grits bar! You could add meat toppings such as braised beef, pulled pork, shrimp& bacon as well as vegetarian options such as roasted tomatoes, scallions and cheese.

It was a smash hit! Everything was DELICIOUS. The desserts and specialty drinks were added touches of deliciousness: I wish I'd taken pictures of the food bar/ dessert table. just a picture of the bar with their smiles!

Palate Pleasers has always been my go to for company picnics and other cooperate events. Recently they just catered a small wine dinner for my husbands birthday and it was perfect! Love this place! It never disappoints!

Textbook definition of "above and beyond" customer service, with wonderful food of all types! I placed a holiday gift basket order by phone from out of state, and Amy made the purchase process and local delivery in Annapolis completely seamless. Best of all, my mother was THRILLED with the taste, quality, and variety of everything delivered.all at prices more competitive than any online chain service. Cannot say enough positive things about this wonderful company. If they treat a single customer this well I can only imagine how amazing the large-scale catering must be!

We were looking for a dessert place for a baby shower and came across Palate Pleasers--it was only for 6 people (bc of Covid) so took a chance in contacting them as they seem to specialize in larger events. Eric immediately responded and was SO pleasant to work with! It was a surprise event and the delivery was exactly on time to when we needed the food, everything was plated very nicely and.the best part. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING!

Everything from the dips to croissants to lobster rolls and the cupcakes was so delicious! Everyone at the party (yes all 6 of us) can't stop raving about the food! Highly recommended if you are looking for a quality caterer for your next event! And definitely ask for the lobster rolls :)

We chose Palate Pleasers to help us with my sisters baby shower, and we are SO glad we did! From our first consult with Amy through the end of our party with Lavonne, everything was fantastic. We knew after meeting with Amy that we would be using this company. We just got a good vibe from her and felt like she understood exactly what we wanted and made excellent suggestions that we hadn't even thought of. Then, at the party, Lavonne was amazing!

We all loved her. She was very attentive to our guests, especially those that required some help getting around. She was professional, courteous, and efficient. We didn't have to worry about a thing all day. Then of course the food was absolutely delicious. Everything was presented beautifully. We had plenty, and Lavonne nicely packed up all the leftovers for us to take home. My sister was so happy with her shower and much of that was because of Palate Pleasers. Thanks again for helping us throw an amazing baby shower!

Once again, I have been so impressed with Palate Pleasers. I have hosted 2 birthday parties and have been to 2 weddings that were catered by them. Last night, we went to a birthday party that Palate Pleasers catered. The food was fabulous! And a big plus was that my son and daughter-in-law are vegans and there were vegan options as well as 2 personal salads were made for them that didn't have the non-vegan ingredients. AND, you can buy premade food in there shop.

Consistently delicious, fresh and healthy selections. I'm impressed with the wide variety of protein, vegetable and tasty bakery items. Everyday they have new hot dishes or soups. I had a chicken, basil, cheese pasta side that was beyond delightful. This is my go to place to pick up dinner or lunch. Such nice staff too.

On the occasion of my Mid's graduation from the Naval Academy, I was seeking a local caterer to provide a light lunch for about 25 family members and friends. During my search I came across Palate Pleasers and was impressed by their eclectic menu and the variety of dishes that were available. It was a pleasure working with Amy (chef) and Eric (manager) preparing our menu.

They provided great suggestions and did not lose patience when sudden additions and and adjustments were requested. They delivered everything on schedule and provided a wonderful presentation of our food choices. Truly professionals! Among the foods that were really standouts were the summer salad with a unique raspberry vinaigrette dressing. Our guests could not get enough.

The shrimp salad on endive was fresh and very tasty and was a favorite starting point. Being from the northeast, I wanted to include some local dishes and the "light lunch" became heavier. The addition of mini crab cakes and shrimp and grits were real crowd pleasers. Of course, there was an a dessert table with a raspberry filling white cake with vanilla icing was really special.

If you like chocolate, and who doesn't, the chocolate mousse cups are a must. If it wasn't for the warm weather, I would have taken a hundred of them home with me, although not all of them would have lasted the trip. Yummy! The cost may have been a bit pricey, but the quality of the food and the reliability of the service is priceless. We ordered food for about 25 people, but could have fed 35.

There was plenty of food. On such an important day that starts so early in the morning, having the food all set up when we arrived, took a lot of anxiety out of the day. Working with the staff of Palate Pleasers was a wonderful experience and would recommend them highly.

We ordered food for a Christmas party at our home. Most of the order was fine, but the salad we ordered turned out to just be a bag of lettuce without the toppings or dressing. I immediately called them after noticing the mistake and spoke to someone who admitted the mistake and offered to send someone to our home to deliver the rest of the order. We waited and waited, no one ever showed up or called. Very disappointed, we will not be ordering again.

After having them cater our wedding five years ago, my darling husband surprised me with the exact meal and a replica wedding cake for our anniversary! Besides how sweet that was, but how about the fact that we now live in North Carolina! He organized the whole thing with Eric who made this crazy idea come to life, made me the happiest wife and somehow made the meal even better than I remembered five years ago.

Thank you to everyone at Palate Pleasers for your thoughtfulness and if anyone is considering them to cater their next event or just a weeknight meal - you will not be disappointed! Thanks and see y'all again in the next five years!

Delicious every time! I could live on the grilled chicken Caesar salad - yummy! The staff are always very friendly and pleasant. Highly recommended.

While visiting Annapolis in May and again in September, I stopped in to Palate Pleasers to get prices for a graduation party. When I met with Amy and her mother, they were lovely, and seemed willing to accommodate our ideas. However, after communicating with them several times, I never received any proposal based on our menu choices. When I followed up with Palate Pleasers, I did hear from Sally, who told me that they were "working night and day" and that they would get back to me by the end of the week. Needless to say, over seven weeks have gone by, and I have heard nothing.

I have received proposals from other caterers in the area, and I have chosen one of these companies for my party. I don't want to work with a company when I feel they are not interested in providing customer service in a timely manner.

Love, LOVE LOVE! FOOD IS ALWAYS GOOD AND CONSISTENT! Must try black bean soup and Chicken Ceasar salad. I am a realtor and anytime I have a client ask for good food I sent them here! If you havent eaten here you are missing out. And Service is always with a smile!

I'll admit. Me coming to this place was by luck. I won a gift card for $25 dollars and that is how I got intoriduced to the Palate Pleasers. This bakery is so cute and the food is even better. I loved the past salad and banana nut bread. I will definetly be back. My order came to 27 dollars and when i recahed to pull out money for the remaing $2 dollar balance. She told me not to worry about it. That was so unnexpected and great customer service.

Time for a review update and a nod to the fact that I go here about every other day--this place serves as my family's personal chef! I've never had anything here that was less than top quality. And I love that they keep trying new dishes (although I lament some that they don't make any more) My latest new experience was the raisin-less bread pudding I special ordered (hate those squishy buggers.) It was to-die-for. I could have glugged back mugsful of the hard sauce alone. Fab-u-lous! Check it out--it is a neighborhood treasure!

Palate Pleasers made and delivered the cupcakes for my wedding, and they were quite delicious. My only gripe is that nobody removed the brown separating paper from each cupcake, and the display didn't look so hot. The food and catering service at Palate Pleasers is also generally spectacular - they catered our engagement party!

What an evil place to put next to a gym! So even after I gained back the calories that I just lost by devouring the apple cake that I always buy from here, I always come back for more. In addition to their awesome fresh bakery items, they have a freezer with day old bread, muffins, and croissants for 25%! And if the freezer is fully enough, you may get the frozen items for free when you buy something there at regular price.

It all depends on how full the freezer is. So it is to your advantage to stop by often to see what they have. You can't get much better than that! Another one of my favorites from this place is the Fig Torte. It is a spread with Mascapone cheese and dried figs. This spread is always a party hit! Now I have never had them cater anything, but they are high on my list of choices. I'm definitely one of their "Gourmet to Go" customers. Ladies, if you have ever been to True Value's (on Forest Drive) Ladies' Night in Fall, Palate Pleasers usually cater with their mini cheese cakes and yummy fall cookies. The Pumpkin Cookies were my favorite! I hope they cater again next year! You get the point, I love this place!
