Mid Atlantic Professional DJ Association

We have used Mid Atlantic DJs for all our school dances for years. Once again, it was an amazing school dance with the perfect mix of middle school appropriate music for our kids. The DJ did an excellent job of responding the crowd, changing songs so that the kids were always dancing and having fun, but the dance floor never got out of control. This year, we also added a photo booth -- the kids loved it!

The pictures turned out awesome and the kids had a great time with all the props. The people running the photo were incredible -- they encouraged the shy students to take a picture with their friends and made everyone feel beautiful and special. It was truly an amazing night!

Dynamic DJ hosted our community movie night - went amazing! Easy booking, smooth set up, great screen and speakers. Everyone had a great time. Even waiting for the movie to start was fun because they played fun music. Ready to set up another event!

My only regret is not having found them earlier. "Outdoor Movie Nights" are now a staple in the community that I manage, with high-quality Audio/Visual equipment making sure that everyone has an enjoyable experience. "The DJ Krissy Karaoke Show + GIANT Games" package is a crowd favorite, resulting in added events throughout our season. The once dormant Resident e-Bulletin is now buzzing with residents requesting more of the above events, as well as requesting Dance Parties (waltz, modern, ballroom, cultural, etc.).

It is a great relief when people do what they say they will/can do, which has been my experience with MAPDJA | Dynamic DJ Entertainment. They are consistent, provide a great value, and their experience/network is second to none. I am extremely pleased and highly recommend them.

This company is bar far one of the best DJ companies around. Their employees are friendly, energetic, accommodating, and just AWESOME! We used their services a few years back for another GMHS Prom and the kids raved about the music; after all, the music is what makes the night. So, we decided to book them again. We hired Midl Atlantic Pro DJ t DJ our event in December 2019. They did an amazing job for our students. Kids loved the music and the high energy the DJ had. We punched the lighting package and 3 games with were well worth it. The light really enhanced the experience. They were easy to work with I highly recommend them.

As a high school teacher running the Homecoming Dance I always get a little anxious before the dance thinking about any discipline issues that may arise. However, I was easily relieved as the dance started and Christine controlled the crowd beautifully! Thanks for another great night.

I have used Mid Atlantic for 5 years now for the pool parties we have in our communities. I always appreciate how prompt they are when showing up day of. If I need any announcements made or song choices they are quick to respond with a smile. We loved the addition of the yard games this year too. Our senior class was searching for a DJ for homecoming and came across MAPDJA. Our students chose to go with them as our DJ because they are approved with our county and they offered giant games. Not only was the music a hit, but the DJ was awesome and the games were a BIG hit with our students. We had the best homecoming dance since I've been the sponsor (4 years). Kurt and his team were awesome to work with! They met with me before my event for 2 hours at my home. We discussed the flow, feel and details of the Bar Mitzvah. They were interested to hear from my son and wanted to know his ideas. On the day of the event Krissy, Carlos and 2 motivational dancers had the kids engaged from start to finish. They were professional, FUN, and left me feeling so confident in their abilities to make it a great party!

The music they played was exactly right for each part of the 4 hours. The games were fun and appropriate. They also brought the av equipment to show my photo montage. I will be booking again for events.

Christine DJ'ed our annual resident pool party and we could not have been more thrilled with her! Christine is the one who helped us from day one starting with explaining their services, differences in packages, and answered any and all questions we had. She was a pure delight! Little did we know she'd also be our DJ for the day of our event. Christine showed up an hour and a half before our scheduled event to get things set up.

She was fun and engaging and has a really outgoing and pleasant personality. She really made the day for our party! We could not have asked for a better service and professionalism and look forward to working with Christine in the future. Thank you for making our day Christine!

I cannot tell you how many times I have used Mid Atlantic Pro DJ Association Inc. What I can tell you is how often that have showed up and done everything above and beyond what was asked. As a planner all of our clients depend on great entertainment. Thus far, they have succeeded our needs. Great MC, Great ability to play a variety of music. Professional appearance, and their response time is amazing. I highly recommend them for any event or wedding you have. World Class!

I co-hosted our 20 Year High School Reunion this past weekend and we engaged MAPDJA as our DJ service. I've hired and referred MAPDJA countless times over the past 20 years - from our prom to my wedding to friends' weddings/events to each of our reunions since graduating. We held this event at RANGE in the Chevy Chase Pavilion in Washington, DC.

We usually have the owner, Kurtis Cross, DJ our events, however he was booked for a wedding, so we were assigned DJ Shawn Parker. Although I know that Kurtis trains exceptional DJs, I was admittedly a little nervous about having a DJ that I'd never met do our event. However, the moment Shawn introduced himself, I felt at ease. Shawn showed up early and set up all of his equipment quickly and seamlessly.

He made sure to connect with me and review the details, including what music we wanted to hear and any announcements that needed to be made. He checked in with me during to make sure everything was running smoothly. The music he played was perfect. The crowd was dancing and enjoying reminicing. The restaurant never once complained to us about the music/noise level.

At one point, I asked Shawn if I could jot down a few notes - things I wanted to remember to do and/or announce, including organizing a group photo. I assigned times to each task. Shawn took it upon himself to remind me about 10 mins in advance of each activity to make sure that I didn't forget. I also want to note that Sean was dressed very well for the occasion - in a suit, exactly as requested.

He has a fantastic announcer voice and great timing. He read the crowd very well and knew what song selections to play when. He entertained requests and handled each guest with exceptional professionalism. I was thrilled with the quality of the service. This is a truly professional and reliable company and I will continue to use and recommend them to anyone looking for a phenomenal DJ service. Frankly, I can't imagine hiring anyone else.

MAPDJA did an awesome job with my recent party. Krissy was a great DJ--she was prompt, courteous, helpful, and seemed to just intuitively know what songs we wanted. We were thrilled with the set list and it was a big hit with our guests. I totally recommend MAPDJA to anyone looking for a DJ.
