Oh my goodness gracious! I love coming here! Staff is welcoming, friendly, and prioritizes helping the customer find what they're looking for. Go early in the morning so you have first pick. Presentation is immaculate and everything tastes amazing. Stop by this place if you're needing to pick something up last minute for a gathering, pick me up, or thoughtful gesture for someone else. My personal favorite is their fudge brownie!

Beautiful cupcakes and delicious too. The staff was overly kind and helpful. The display cases were full of beautiful, yummy creations too. Highly recommend!

Let me just say, step-momming ain't easy and when I was tasked with last minute cake duty for our 11 year olds birthday on a Sunday, during graduation season, with 12 days notice I was FREAKING out but alas there was nothing to fear. The ladies at Honeymoon Sweets exceeded expectations and truly saved the day! They were super accommodating and very reliable. The price was amazing and I will definitely be back!

I was close by and had a sweet tooth. I was greeted quickly and the lady working was so patient and nice as I coordinated stuff to order with my parents over the phone. Lol they have a nice variety of cakes, cupcakes, mini desserts, eclairs. I bought 2 of the mini desserts I believe one of them was a passion fruit or mango cheesecake but omg it was sooo good and a perfect size.

The cupcakes were a tad dry but the frosting was nice and fluffy. My mom really enjoyed the eclairs and everything else was tasty. Overall, a nice spot with a varied selection of items. I would pop in again when I'm close by!

I contacted Honeymoon Sweets because I saw the wonderful reviews on Yelp and my daughter requested a funfetti cake for her bday. Although I asked for this cake on short notice, they were able to squeeze my request in and deliver a beautiful and delicious tasting cake. I will definitely use them again for any future cake requests!

A few years ago, our wedding venue said they only work with Honeymoon Sweets for wedding cakes. So I called, ordered a tasting box and fell in love with Honeymoon Sweets. The storefront is small and off the beaten path a bit but finding this hidden gem is fully worth it. I'm so glad I did. I just picked up my husband's birthday cake last week.

I love the buttercream frosting and the Bavarian cream filling that they pair with fresh fruit. The chocolate mousse filling is also to die for and is amazing with fresh raspberries. I appreciate that all the ingredients are of the highest quality and there are not artificial preservatives or thickeners in anything they make. Honeymoon Sweets has a good selection prepared in their case including holiday offerings--adorable king's cakes for Mardi Gras--or you can order ahead.

Everyone who works here is so friendly and helpful. Is it a little pricey? Maybe, (expect around $30 for a 6) cake but the quality is worth it and I love supporting a small woman-owned business.

I've only had the creme brulee tarts and key lime tarts from this shop, but they're absolutely amazing. Lol my partner tried the creme brulee tart for the first time the other day and loved them. I will say that they taste much better when they're room temp rather than chilled. The key lime tart was also delicious. I look forward to trying out more goodies whenever I'm in the area.

I ordered a 6inch buttercream cake for my daughter! I chose chocolate flavor which tasted super yummy! Definitely recommend this bakery to ppl looking for a unique and delicious cake.

Alisa delivered the perfect cake and cupcakes for our small November wedding. I sat down with her for my wedding cake and showed her pictures of what I had in mind. She had prepared the most amazing sampling of cake, fillings and toppings for us to try before we decided. The at home tasting process was so fun and we knew we had nothing to worry about on the big day. Everyone loved the cupcakes and we loved our cake! Would highly recommend to anyone for their wedding. Thank you to their entire team for a job well done.

This is THE place for cakes, sweets and treats! It's in an obscure location, but worthy a visit. They have a counter full of delicious single serve and small items to share. The service was beyond what I expected. The cake was not only beautiful it was delicious also.

While talking with someone I love beyond measure and finding out they've been a bit sad and struggling I just had to attempt a turnaround. Sweets don't always solve everything, but boy do they taste good. To my lucky surprise I came across Honeymoon Sweets while in Tempe this morning. I will say if you aren't paying attention it's definitely easy to miss.

It sits amongst many warehouse type buildings. Best way to get you there is for you to know it sits on the corner of Roosevelt and Southern. It made it a bit easier today because my eye caught their bakery van in the parking lot. It's not a huge location, but was bright and inviting. Everything looked amazing and it took me so long to choose.

While looking over all the treats another customer came in who was an obvious regular. The worker knew instantly what must be his normal order and name. Great signs for sure. Along with the smaller goodies there was another area for cake testing for weddings. The woman helping me was wonderful and patient. She answered all my questions and took the time to explain some of the treats to me.

I finally narrowed my choices and left with a lemon raspberry cake, New York cheesecake, brownie and a lime tart if I remember correctly ha ha. Not only were my gifted treats loved they brought a smile to the person receiving them. Success. I was told everything was so delicious they couldn't pick a favorite. I can't wait to go back and taste all the other treats.

Yum! You'd walk in and you smell the deliciousness already on your tongue. Courteous, friendly honeymoon bakery is clean and with, fast, efficient, anc amazing customer service thats make any other bakery jealous of the skills found in the art baking.

Definitely the place to go for awesome cakes. Everything was done as expected, the red velvet and the creme was so tasty. Thank you again for a wonderful experience. Definitely will order again.

We were in search of a two tier cake pretty last minute in the peak of Arizona's wedding season. Honeymoon Sweets Bakery was not only able to accomate us, they were so kind and helpful with my many questions. We used their online ordering option, and we were set to go in just minutes. Although we didn't use the cake for a wedding, it is an "elopement" cake, so I thought all Bride's-to-be that are considering using Honeymoon Sweets should know how amazing it was!

The cake was not only beautiful, but so delicious! I typically HATE frosting. this frosting was delicious and not too sweet. We got the lemon cake with a raspberry mouse type filling and everyone was raving about it! Thank you Honeymoon Sweets! We will be using you again!

Honeymoon Sweets always does beautiful work. They did our wedding cake and everybody raved about how good it was. We have come back to them for multiple occasions and our Baby Shower was no different. It's almost too good looking to eat. almost.

Honeymoon Sweets is such an amazing bakery! Everything we have purchased here has been absolutely amazing. If I could give 10 stars I absolutely would! I used to work here back in the early/mid 2000's. I ordered my wedding cake from here 11 years ago and most recently my birthday cake for my 41st birthday as Covid ruined my Fabulous Fortieth birthday party and mermaid themed filled cupcakes for my daughter's 10th birthday. We found Honey Moon Sweets through a friend and we are so glad we did. We weren't sure if we wanted a cake or to do more of a sweets table for our wedding in March 2021 and as soon as we tasted their cake, we knew we needed it! Their cake is not overly sugary sweet and they have SO many variations of flavors, mousses, and icings. We want to be able to buy their tasting box we got for our wedding tasting, it was delicious!

They let us fully customize what we wanted. The overall design was a little different than what we were expecting, but it still turned out beautiful and delicious. There was none left at the end of the night so we know everyone else loved it just as much as we did! I would highly recommend them for any cake needs!

Cutest pastries! My friend got me a box of them for my birthday and they were so delicious! They have a variety to choose from. It's a little taster and just perfect. If you need a cute gift to give to a friend or special someone I highly recommended picking out a few delights from Honeymoon.

I usually don't like cake but WOW this place is amazing! I ordered the 6 inch confetti cake and it was the best cake I've ever had in my entire life! So glad I found my go to bakery here in AZ! Staff is also incredible and so nice and helpful! yay

Cake was delicious and moist. It didn't taste frozen. Everyone loved it and honestly, there wouldn't be any of it left if partial of the crowd wasn't all ready drinking whiskey!

It's always the honeymoon phase when you have Honeymoon Sweets! Perhaps it's because I was surprised by my boopie Tran D. but every bite was amazing! I just received a surprise Postmates order and got some boxes of sweet birthday treats. While I wouldn't have known to go outside and get the bag as the Postmates guy didn't ring the doorbell (thanks for spamming me and getting my attention, Tran, lol), all the treats held up sitting in the sun and in 95°F weather!

I had bite after bite of some good eats. I still have three little tarts and that ginormous confetti sprinkle cake to try but I'm loving everything! The cheesecake especially, my gosh! I haven't had Honeymoon Sweets in a while but I'm correcting that flop pronto. Thank you for making my birthday so special!

I would move to Arizona just to be close to this bakery. I was awestruck when my son-in-law came home with a cake and a box of sweets for my daughter's birthday. I haven't really seen sweets like that outside of a patisserie in Paris or on a food show. They were absolutely exquisite to the point where you were almost afraid to eat them. They were absolute works of art.

The different tiny little cheesecakes and lemon pies were just so so good. The Macarons were light and soft and chewy and tasty. I wish I had some right now. And then there was the birthday cake. It was a raspberry lemon cake. My word, it was just amazing. I don't even like cake and I got up for a couple of mornings after the birthday party looking forward to having birthday cake for breakfast.

So I used the excuse that my two-year-old granddaughter who's house I was staying in wanted cake. But it was pretty much all for me. Not only was it absolutely tremendously delicious but it was gorgeous. The fondant and the decorations were just so simple and so pretty. And they put happy birthday Julia for my daughter on it and it just made for a very special birthday occasion.

So now we are thinking of a new occasion to celebrate just so we can go there and get more of their phenomenal desserts. This is an absolute must do when you are in the Phoenix-Tempe-Mesa area. You will not be disappointed.

I have used this great local bakery twice for special occasion cakes and both have came out great. They have a standard menu that you can walk right in and order off of, but they also do amazing custom work! Reaching out and working with them was easy and they have produced a high quality product each time. Seasonal menu that changes and is always great! Well priced too!

Small bakery focusing on wedding style cakes and delicate and delightful sweets. The lady that helped us was very friendly and willing to chat about the different options in the display, which rotate daily. We bought a variety and thoroughly enjoyed them all. Will definitely be returning.

I was searching for a place to make my wedding cake and I was recommended this bakery from another bakery! What a great recommendation it was. Alisa was super helpful and was able to give me everything I wanted for my wedding cake. I didn't go the normal route for a wedding cake and she took my inspiration photos for the cake and made it happen.

The cake was delicious too. I had the yellow pound cake with cinnamon mousse and red velvet with chocolate Bavarian cream filling. If you want a awesome looking cake this is the place to go!

I came across honeymoon sweets about 5 years ago when one of my friends got me their fruit tarts. Oh my I was so impressed. I don't know how I have missed writing a review for them. On several other occasions I have had their cakes, desserts and every time it was mind blowing. This time we were sure to order a bday cake for my sons 2 bday from Honeymoon sweets.

Since it was a quarantine bday we wanted to make sure we get the best of the cake. The process was very smooth and simple. We went with tres leches coz that's one of our favorites. When we went to pick and saw the cake, our jaw dropped. We had just given the theme and the toys but all of the detailing, design is done by the decorator. Every detail was so well done and every bit was edible.

We can't thank enough for this magnificent cake. It looked good and tasted amazing too. The price is a little on the higher side but you get what you pay for. Do stop by for their small treats, everything is cute and yummy.

Amazing bakery items! They also made our wedding cake, and it was DELICIOUS! I'm not a big sugary frosting fan, but Honeymoon Sweets has great alternatives! I also wasn't sure how to decorate the cake with flowers, they said to just drop off the fresh flowers and they can place them on the cake. They organized them perfectly, we loved it. Thank you all, everyone at our wedding loved the cake and actually wanted more! We had to sneak our two pieces away to take home after the wedding :

Deliciousness Done Right I've been going to Honeymoon Sweets for decades and I can't believe I haven't written a review until today. The ride to Honeymoon Sweets is easily 45-60 minutes from my home and today traffic was heavy, however, Honeymoon Sweets is always worth the trip. The staff at Honeymoon Sweets always greets you as if you are old friends from the moment you enter.

The shop is spacious and clean with a wonderful array of cakes, cookies, pies and decorated items displayed for purchase. Everything at Honeymoon Sweets is delicious. I can't get enough of the Apple or Cherry Strudel and the lemon raspberry cake is the best I have ever had. On this visit I purchased 12 small pieces of different style cakes that were all decorated and all were absolutely delicious and of course I had to purchase one Turtle brownie to eat on my long trip home Honeymoon Sweets is known for decorations on cakes, and it is truly a mastery of the art, to say the least. The creations at Honeymoon Sweets are one of a kind and uniquely beautiful. You have to give this bakery shop a try. One visit and purchase and you will be hooked.

Currently stuffed as I am writing this review. It is so hard to put down the spoon for their strawberry bavarian cream cake and coconut custard cake, both of which were about $4.95. Not only are the individual cakes, petite and cute but a perfect size to give as a present. The lady who helped me was very nice and knowledgable of all the desserts in the case.

Now I can see why the strawberry bavarian is one of their most popular - light, fluffy, and contrasting with the fresh strawberries and strawberry jam. As for the coconut custard, although I wished the coconut was toasted, I would not hesistate to get this again. It is almost like a coconut cream pie in cake form. Pretty sure if you placed this bakery in CA, these little guys could easily be a dollar or two more. Can't wait to stop by this unpretentious bakery again. The good thing is that Whole Foods apparently sells their baked goods. I can't wait to keep my eyes out for them on my next grocery visit!
