Since 1970, Trotter Photo remains a company of value-based integrity with a collection of local photographers and decades of growth. With two studio locations in both St. Louis and St. Charles Counties and two dozen local, year-round, experienced photographers and videographers, Trotter is able to keep up with any required booking needs.
Subscribe to our You Tube channel for updates! Our videos are posted on different social media platforms with permission from our clients. To provide budget friendly options, we offer both 'a la carte' pricing as well as discounted combined products and services via different packages, based on need.
Happy memories, unique personalities, and fun times will all come together in a perfect storm when you use one of our photo booths at your event. In addition to photographic keepsakes, photo booths are a great way to show a full history of who attended and enjoyed your event. It is wise to select a provider that is known for both video and photography because video and still pictures go hand in hand to capture all the moments of a special day. Our professionals work well with one another to ensure all details and angles are covered. In addition, by combining our services, such as video, posed photography, and photo booths, we will provide all at a reduced package price, thereby reducing overall event cost. We use modern video and photography equipment to ensure clients receive the best quality.

Our photographer, Emily was beyond exceptional on our wedding day! Additionally, the videographer and second photographer, Nora were also great and we couldn't have done it with these three! Norma was humorous and patient throughout the day and made the entire day continuously exciting and fun! Emily was open to our photography inspiration and took the extra time and effort on our wedding day.

We used Trotter Photo for all 3 services: photo, video, and photo booth. We have not seen our pictures yet, but the planning process and day-of were more than perfect! Everyone LOVED the photo booth (we did the Buzz) and both photographer and videographer were very professional. We highly recommend them for everything!

Our photographer was fantastic! She was super friendly to work with and got some amazing photos! HOWEVER, it took us 6 weeks to get our photos from our wedding and that was after I called. Once we finally got the pictures from our wedding only a few of them were edited, and very poorly I might add. It took 6 weeks for them to make a few pictures black and white and over expose a few others. If that's all that was going to be done I could have done that myself. Very disappointed. I uploaded some of the "edited" pictured

My husband and I are so glad we chose Trotter Photo for our wedding photography! They were wonderful to work with every step of the way and have a number of wedding packages available to suit a variety of budgets. Our photographer, Dayton, did an amazing job capturing amazing moments from our ceremony and reception, and he was a pleasure to work with - very kind and calm. My wife and I could not be more satisfied with our photos from and experience with Trotter. Our photographer Dayton was fantastic across the board, with a real gift for making people comfortable and identifying great backdrops in and around our venue. The online photo repository made it incredibly easy to select shots for our book, and proofs came back quicker than we expected. For friendly, experienced, and talented photographers with deep roots in the Saint Louis area, you really can't go wrong with Trotter!

Our wedding was an absolute fairytale come true! Trotter photo was able to be there for every special moment to capture our magical day! Our photographer, Emily, did an outstanding job of sticking to schedule we wanted to follow for family photos. We were so excited to see and share our wonderful photos from Trotter once they came in! My wife and I used Trotter for our wedding photos. Denise, our photographer, was exceptional and we could not have been happier with the quality of our photos. She made sure we got some stunning photos and had fun while doing it. Trotter was great after the fact too answering questions we had about additional albums for our parents. Definitely reccomend for your wedding photos.

Trotter did a fantastic job on our wedding photos! Very creative approach and willing to listen to the client! We did outdoor photos of us with our kids before the wedding that I am very pleased with. The ceremony photos were creative and captured the day perfectly! Trotter has been very easy to work with. Highly recommend!

I am so happy that we used Trotter Photo for our wedding! They made everything so simple and they were so easy to work with. We set up our game-day plan ahead of time so that we could be as efficient as possible. The photographer knew exactly what pictures we wanted before our wedding day. They gave us a checklist of all the pictures that we wanted and they had space so we could suggest some of our ideas as well!
They are really good at communication which is super important when planning a wedding. Our photos came our beautifully and they captured every single moment from our wedding day that I wanted. I would definitely recommend using Trotter to any couple searching for a wedding day photographer!

So happy with Trotter Photo for our wedding pics! They were great to work with before the wedding, taking us through the process and coming up with some creative shots that truly were memorable and unique! During the wedding and reception, our photographer kept up with the hectic action and helped keep things on track, a true professional! I would recommend anyone looking for a photographer to use Trotter Photo, we're glad we did!

Trotter photo did an amazing job on our wedding photos! They look absolutely stunning! It rained all morning the day of our wedding, I was worried about how the photos would turn out. Our photographer did a fantastic job working in the wet weather with our large wedding party. It did take a while to be able to view our photos, however they were well worth the wait! Trotter photographed my parent's wedding almost 27 years ago and I am thrilled that they could be part of our big day as well! I am excited to share our photos with our friends and family!

We used Trotter for our wedding 7/30 and Shelby was wonderful from start to finish! We have some incredible photos, both artsy and classic. She was great at looking at my list of "pinteresty" ideas to get some posed shots while keeping things fun and efficient. My husband who does NOT enjoy being in photos said that he barely knew she was there most of the time and was pleased with how she kept things moving, even with our large families.
The photo booth was a hit and you can't beat the price! Thanks Shelby (and I forget name of the 2nd photographer who also got some great shots!) for capturing the best day of our lives!

If I were you I would stay away from Trotter. We met with a photographer many times and signed a contract with her after 3 meetings with her because we liked her and trusted her work after reviewing it. We put off our engagement pictures until 3 months before our wedding due to our crazy work schedules. To our surprise we called to book our engagement session with our photographer and they rudely informed us she left the company 3 weeks prior.
We never got a call! In addition, what would have happened if we wouldnt have called? Would nobody show up to shoot our wedding? I was upset and asked to cancel our contract and forfeit our deposit. They contract says you can do this if you will forfeit the deposit. In our eyes it was worth it considering they proved to be a company who couldnt be trusted.
To my surprise the owner of Trotter called me. I was expecting a sincere apology but that never happened. Instead he made it sound like it was not a big deal that they never called us to let us know we didnt have a photographer for our wedding. He kept saying how its sooooo far away (only 68 days) and they would have had somebody show up. Apparently he doesnt understand people just dont want anybody shooting their wedding photos.
He never apologized, and didnt think it was a big deal we never got a call to inform us we no longer had a photographer. It took 2 phone calls and 2 emails to finally get our money back. Then it got even worse! He sent us a check minus the deposit AND minus sales tax (which is not stated in the contract or in his emails to us). They still owe us 150 dollars!
I workin the wedding industry and have never experienced customer service this bad in my entire life. I would NEVER hire this company to shoot your wedding. They will send just "somebody" and even if you do abide by THEIR contract they will still try to screw you out of money. They worst experince with a company in my life!
