I cannot give enough praise to Poffie Girls. The day before my bridal appointment, I got a phone call from Lauren, who would help me the next day. Lauren made me feel comfortable before I even got there. She had the best personality that supported mine and made the process a breeze. She would listen to what I liked and didn't like about a wedding dress and bring out dresses that fit what I liked. She helped me find my dream bridal gown and I am forever grateful for Lauren and my experience at Poffie Girls.

My daughter said YES to the dress at Poffie Girls over a year ago. It was our first visit! We were met with outstanding customer service! My daughter was given personal time and attention by the knowledgeable staff. She is truly a Poffie Girl as both of her prom dresses and ultimately her wedding gown was purchased at Poffie Girls!

Had an absolutely amazing experience trying on bridal gowns at Poffie Girls! The staff are all so friendly and welcoming, and the dress selection is incredible. Courtney was the best, helping me in and out of dresses with ease and making me feel not only comfortable but beautiful, too. She went above and beyond in helping me get the loaner dresses I had asked for, having patience with me, and making it a wonderful experience for me and my Mom and bridesmaids. I would recommend all brides in NC to Poffie Girls!

This was my first time and experience trying on wedding dresses, and it was more than I could have ever hoped for! Lauren and Rachel assisted in helping me find the dress of my dreams. This duo went above and beyond in making sure that I chose a dress that I loved. From our first interaction, it was clear that they were passionate about helping others.

Both ladies were excellent at listening to my thoughts/wants, but also didn't hesitate to give their honest opinion about certain pieces. Communication was great and they had so many helpful suggestions when it came down to deciding on which dresses we should "keep or eliminate". While at Poffie girls, I never felt rushed while trying on my many. MANY dresses.

They truly made my experience a memorable one and most importantly made sure I would be happy with whatever dress I chose. I can't say enough about this place and I hope both ladies know what an asset they are to Poffie Girls!

Went in with my daughter to look for a prom dress. Make it to the upstairs where we are told they don't allow men. What about fathers that want to be involved with their daughters? Shame on them for thinking all men look at little girls trying in dresses. Never in a million years would my husband or most men coming in there want to look at little girls, they want to be a part of their prom experience. I'm pretty sure in this day in age if that situation were reversed and you told a woman she couldn't go somewhere it would be a huge issue. What about daughters that don't have mother's and just father's. SHAME ON YOU! Do better!

I had really high expectations for this place from good reviews and word of mouth recommendations. I was super disappointed. I don't think it was a personal good fit for me but surely could still be great for someone else. I personally hated that you get to pick 5 dresses, and then the person working with you picks all the rest. I want to be able to pick my own stuff personally!

The employee working with me was just not it. She was rude and not willing to listen to me when I kept saying no. She was pushy and to sales like for my likings. A wedding dress is a huge deal and saying yes to anything is not the right idea. The inside where you try on dresses also is very small and there is no privacy between guests. Like I said maybe that's what people would want but not my personal taste. I would say to try here if you are interested, but it was a personal waste of time and drive for me!

I said Yes at Poffie Girls last night thanks to Jennifer! Jennifer was patient, polite, professional, made spot on recommendations, and really made the over all experience wonderful. I felt comfortable in front of Jennifer between dresses also! Thank you Jennifer for a great experience. I can't wait to pick up my dress

This was my first time trying on Wedding dresses. My stylist Amy was super sweet and helped me the best she could! She let me walk around the shop and pick out what I wanted to try on. She then pulled similar styles to what I had envisioned for myself. As my appointment went on I was realizing I probably would not be finding my dress at Poffie Girls.

She then walked me through the proses of how they could customize two dresses into one. I felt hopeful after that! Although they didn't have my dream dress at their shop they were helping me make my dream dress come to life. I just started the hunt for my dress but Poffie Girls was a great place to start!

I had the most amazing experience at Poffie. Lauren was absolutely incredible and found me the dress of my dreams that I would've never picked out on my own. She was patient, honest, and determined to help me find "the one". After 4 bridal shops and trying on numerous dresses I am so happy I found Poffie (and Lauren)! They have a large selection of stunning dresses in all sizes and the sweetest team working there.

I've been going to this place for about three years now for homecoming. However, I'm a size 10-12 and I've noticed they NEVER have anything new for my size! It's the same out of style dresses for midsized girls, and I don't know why. They have plenty of dresses for size 0-4 but lord forbid you wear a size higher than a 6. Not to mention, the stylists are usually super skinny, and so they can't exactly style my curves properly.

I felt so inferior for not being pencil thin when I was in the dressing room, and the policy where they have to zip you up didn't help. Long story short, don't go here unless you're smaller than a 6, because it's highly unlikely that they'll have anything in style for you.

I had an amazing experience at Poffie Girls! Sophie was my stylist and she went above and beyond! I had a vision in mind but couldn't find the perfect dress at other stores or even online to show a picture. When I arrived they had me pick out a few dresses and then we tried those on. With each one I explained what I liked/wanted and what I didn't like. Sophie went to the back and picked out a gown for me that matched my imagination perfectly!

She listened to every detail I said and hand picked my wedding dress! We came back a few days later to officially buy the dress and I was 100% expecting to have buyers remorse as I do with almost every purchase in my life. But it never came. Not one inch of my being felt like I could find a better gown than the one Sophie picked for me. It LITERALLY is what I envisioned in my brain and I am so grateful for that experience! Crossed it off my wedding to-do list and not looking back! I love it and my experience at Poffie Girls!

I am so impressed by Poffie Girls! I was super nervous as it was my first bridal appointment, but Kalia made the day such a breeze! She was super friendly and picked out some amazing dresses for me to try on. She understood my style immediately and only suggested dresses I was comfortable with / within my budget. She made me super at ease during the whole process and made it fun for my bridesmaids who were with me. I would absolutely recommend Poffie Girls to anyone looking for their dress!

I was so blown away with my experience at Poffie Girls. My bridal consultant Katie was amazing! She was SO sweet and helpful through the process. She made me feel totally comfortable. I actually had to end up coming back in the next day after my appointment because I couldn't stop thinking about the dress I didn't pick. I met with another helpful lady and said yes to the dress! The dresses here are all stunning, and there's a variety of sizes. I highly recommend them!

My stylist Lisa was Absolutely amazing, she was able to help me find the perfect dress. getting married at Glacier National Park will be a dream and I need a beautiful dress for it! I found the most glamorous, bohemian, sexy but yet elegant dress! Comfy and light. I can't wait to wear it! The place is beautiful and very tasteful, I highly recommend Lisa and Poffie Girls!

I had a great bridal appointment at Poffie Girls. My consultant, Jonna, was very professional and helpful. I felt like she genuinely wanted to help me narrow down my search and find the right dress. She really listened to my vision and continued to request feedback on every dress I tried on. She encouraged me to be nit-picky about every detail and assured me that it was perfectly acceptable to do that.

It helped her find dresses that were even closer to my vision. She had a great ability to interpret my poorly articulated feedback too. When I said something like, "I want a better distinction between the top and bottom, " she knew I meant "I want a belt" and "I would chop off these dangling strings under the belt." When I said, "This side of the strap is different." she knew I meant "I want the straps to be symmetrical." It sounds obvious as written, but my point is that she was really taking the time to understand how I felt about every single aspect, and I appreciated her attention to detail. Having visited other bridal boutiques and trying on at least 15 other gowns, this was the first time that I walked out of the appointment feeling confident and feeling like I'd have fun. Jonna really helped me narrow down EXACTLY what features I'm looking for.

She is a true asset to Poffie Girls, for one thing. But I also like the style of the boutique in general. I like that it's full-service, that there is a mirror in the dressing room (before you go out and show your judgmental entourage, if you even decide to go out and show people), they have a great selection of dresses/veils/jewelry. They were also really good about sending out reminders and thank you messages. Poffie Girls is a top-notch place that makes you feel special. I definitely recommend in the Charlotte area to check them out.

Poffie was recommended by another soon-to-be bride that grew up in the area. This place was my 5th and little did I know final bridal shop! I was paired with a lovely woman named Melissa! Right when I showed her the style I was looking for she pulled about 6-7dresses, her choices were on point we loved every last one it seemed. She was so sweet, honest, and tended to my every need while I was in her presence!

The second time I came was to actually say YES to one of the dresses, I made sure to go a day that Melissa was there when I made my appt. My mom and grandmother were even pleased with her service! Fast forward 4 months, I went to pick up my dress and surprisingly Melissa was there to help me try on my actual gown, I was ECSTATIC and gave her the biggest hug! I'm truly thankful for her kindness throughout this journey of finding my DREAM DRESS by Essence of Australia! I really can not thank Melissa and the staff at Poffie enough for being so helpful!

Such a wonderful experience at Poffie Girls today! We're in Charlotte for the visiting family and decided to venture and look for prom dresses. What are the chances of anyone else having your dress when you buy it out if state?!? After some online searches I found 4 stores in the area that we decided to check out. Poffie Girls was the first one we went to and there was no need to look any further!

The shop is so quaint and inviting. It's a plantation house that was converted at some point. Everyone was so helpful from the moment we walked in. The entire top floor is prom dresses. We worked with Lisa who was just wonderful! She explained how the dresses were divided amongst the rooms and as we were looking she got a sense of what my daughter may like and started pulling dresses as well.

In all she tried on about 10 dresses. I loved that they had dresses in all sizes and styles and they all looked so original, not the cookie cutter stuff you see other places. Prices were comparable to others I've seen but the service set them apart. Lisa was so patient and so helpful as my daughter tried on dresses. All teenage girls have something they're self-conscious about but she was so reassuring in finding styles that would make her feel beautiful! We'll be back for senior prom shopping next year without a doubt!

Me, a male went to the store with my girl-friends to help them pick out the dress of their dreams.just me for to get pulled out from the crowd and thrown into a "waiting room" that was separated from everybody else. That's fucking ridiculous how strict they are and they're reasoning behind it is "our dressing rooms aren't that secure" well seeing how y'all make a pretty good about of money you would think some of that money would go towards something like that.

A business is suppose to cover EVERYONES needs a wants. All my friends wanted was for me to help when pick out a dress but instead I had to sit in a room and stare at a wall.

I was SO impressed by this boutique! Would highly recommend to everyone I know! We had a party of 6 women for a bridal appointment, they were SO accommodating and they truly made the experience wonderful! The consultants were so helpful and made the bride feel so special. Thanks, Poffie Girls!

Recently took my daughter to Poffie Girls for a bridal gown and I was very impressed. Getting an appointment on a Saturday just 4 days before, was not a problem. We were greeted at the door and did not have to wait long. She had her own personal consultant who was attentive and took the time to understand what she wanted for style. The consultant was honest and helpful and did not rush the process.

My daughter found the dress she loved and I was comfortable by staying in budget. Before going to Poffie Girls, we had been to other shops and we enjoyed our time at Poffie girls. My daughters bridesmaids were encouraged to try on dresses as well. We did not feel any pressure to buy anything from the time we walked in, to the time we left, this is a big deal for me.

Great bridal boutique but they recommend Dulce Alterations despite all of the terrible reviews. Dulce Alterations does terrible work and refuses to fix their mistakes or anything you do not like about your dress. Please do not make the same mistake I did and use them for any wedding dress alterations.

I drove from Charlotte to Gastonia looking for a mother of the bride dress. I was so happy I did. Although I didn't find my dress, I was so impressed with the store, the experience and the selection. I walked into the store since I was told I didn't need an appointment, I felt great as soon as I stepped in. The store itself is beautiful and well maintained.

A lady by the name of Stacy ( If I m not mistaken) spent more than an hour with me. She took me all over the store showing me dresses. She was pleasant and accommodating from the moment I walked on until I left. She got the seamstress to suggest some adjustments that could be done to the dress I liked the most in case it was my choice. She also had another associate to call the designer store for a dress that I saw in their catalogue. I encourage everyone to try them. You will not be disappointed with the experience.

After trying every shop in the Greenville, SC area and finding nothing particularly special or unique in my price range, I decided to try a bit further from home. I'm so glad I did! This shop is fantastic! I worked with Lindsay, who was very down to earth and helpful. Although she tried to keep me within my budget, I fell in love with a dress just above it (my decision, not her pushing!).

The only reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is that their veils and accessories are over-priced, I would recommend getting those pieces elsewhere. Despite the hour and a half drive each way for picking out the dress, each fitting, and picking up the veil, I would STILL recommend this shop to anyone! Thanks Poffie! Also, their recommendation for Dulce Alterations is clutch!

I was not treated well at this place when arriving at my appointment to look at bridal gowns, and the woman who helped me, which i later found out is the sales manager, came off as extremely rude. I only can give one star because she pulled the dress I ended up buying-- from another store because I felt so terrible after leaving there. I explained that my family and friends lived 600 miles away so I was by myself and completely lost.

Instead of empathizing with me, I guess I wasn't taken seriously. She rushed me, made rude comments about my $1,000 price point, and refused to give me the style number of a dress that I liked so I can see more pics online of how the dress looks when properly fitted. They totally lost this sale because of the poor customer service. I ended up googling the dress and obtaining the style number where NY bride and groom in Charlotte special ordered it for me and treated me the way a bride SHOULD be treated. So disappointing. Please work on treating everyone with respect.

I have purchased at least 15 gowns and dresses from Poffie Girls.the best service and store ever! Great selections and great prices too! You will love the plantation home as well. The girls were super nice and easy to work with. Highly recommended!

Almost bought my dress here. The consultant was knowledgeable (if at times a bit awkward with me) and they have a fairly good selection of gowns to try on from well-liked designers, including my favorites: Justin Alexander and Lillian West. The consultant had selected the dress that I almost ended up buying, so I think their instincts are pretty good, once they see what your preferences are.

In the end, I debated if the dress was too simple for my tastes, and ended up going back to an earlier dress I had liked, at another store in Charlotte. But Poffie is worth checking out in your dress hunt! PS: bonus points for offering other formalwear as well, including mother-of-the-bride ensembles.

I recently had a bridal appointment here and it was truly a lovely experience. It was simple to make an appointment via email and throughout the whole process service was very friendly and helpful. It's nice that Poffie Girls also carries prom dresses and bridesmaid dresses, they have a nice selection of both. Their bridal gowns seemed to mostly fall into the classic or trendy buckets but prices were very fair. Service was patient as well as I tried on many, many gowns. Overall a great place to find your dress and open until 8pm most evenings, perfect for hitting after work.
