The owner saved the day for me today! I brought a dress I loved trying to sell it to her and thought I'd need a new one last minute. She had me try it on for her, showed me what I needed to do to make it work, gave me a huge hug and sent me out the door so relieved. Great character, beautiful store and the sweetest lady around. Wish I would have known about her and Brides of France sooner.

I found my dress here and highly recommend this shop. I brought a small group and we had a lot of different styles and sizes to choose from. Come here if your budget is anywhere from $300-2000+ I walked out the store with my dress and was really happy with the service. Thank you.

Went here because my co-worker recommended it and found her dress here. My initial experience was great. I tried on many beautiful dresses and even found one that I was planning to get. I saw that the dress had some blemishes to it. My parents were purchasing this dress for me and my mom was with me. My mom has a slight Ukrainian accent and just asked if they can do anything about the blemishes or possibly give a slight discount so we can use that money to get it fixed.

The owner was so disrespectful and started mocking my mom and saying it in an accent "You want discount" and kept saying it and laughing in a very rude way. This was very unnecessary and should could have just said no sorry we can't. She did not have to be rude about it and mock my mother. I have never seen such disrespect. We left and ended up purchasing from somewhere else. I would not recommend this place to anyone. This really did ruin our day.

Kim was so helpful with my dress! She was patient and kind while I was going back and forth between dresses. She honored the originally pricing she gave me on the veil I picked out and had recommendations for how much the dress would need to be altered. She worked within my price range and timeline. Kim stayed after her original shift hours to give me more time to decide on the dress. Overall good experience!

I can not say enough wonderful things about Brides of France! Jill and her staff are amazing to work with, very sweet, fun and knowledgeable about everything wedding dresses. The store is full of beautiful wedding dresses with all different price points. My twin sister and I had been all over looking for our wedding dresses (yes, twin sisters both getting married this year) and we both found our stunning wedding dresses at Brides of France. I highly recommend this beautiful wedding dress shop to any bride out there looking for her dress.

Brides of France has a great selection of both new and consignment wedding dresses at various price points to fit all budgets. My fiancee found the perfect wedding dress and had a wonderful experience working with Jill, the owner. Jill was super helpful and made the whole process very easy and enjoyable. We would highly recommend Brides of France to anyone looking for a wedding dress. 5 Stars!

Jill has been AMAZING! She helped me pick out my dress and was extra amazing for holding on to it for me prior to her move! Come to Brides on France if you want amazing service and a good time! I was looking for an A-line dress and this was the last dress I tried on and it was the one! She is perfect at finding just the right one to make you feel magical! Kim was fantastic to work with in looking for my dress. She has a nice blend of letting me and look on my own and helping. She is so knowledgeable and truly loves working with dresses and matching them up to brides. The shop has a nice variety of price ranges, styles, consignment dresses and new. These are not the same dresses that I found in other shops. I highly recommend Brides of France-you will find a vast selection and a great time as you are looking!

Jill is so awesome, helpful, knowledgeable and has the best store and product to aid in finding the ideal dress for a bride to be. Our experience was wonderfully amazing and my daughter found the perfect dress. We are so pleased with the service provided by Brides of France and would absolutely recommend that this be the first stop in finding your "Yes" to the dress adventure!

Kim was extremely helpful and made the whole appointment feel very relaxed and comfortable! My daughter had tried on so many dresses at 3 other stores, but said yes to the first dress she tried on at Brides of France! They had a wonderful selection but we were so impressed with the actual experience!

Jill is amazing! From the moment I walked in, she was intent in listening to what I was looking for and then began pulling dresses that "fit" my body type. She was spot on! Girls. we all think, we know what "magical" dress we want, but that doesn't mean that style will look "magical" on you. I truly felt that Jill wouldn't let someone purchase a bridal gown that wasn't absolutely stunning on them. Jill expertise on bridal gowns and the designers is a talent, all-in-itself! A wonderful experience at Brides of France!

Kim and the rest of the staff gave me an unforgettable experience. Kim honed in on my style and found a dress I never could have imagined existed; it's perfect. Everyone's enthusiasm with styling my dress was infectious and being able to have it altered in-house by Lisa is so convenient. I wish I could relive the experience over and over again because it was so enjoyable.

So glad I went here! I did the typical bring all your girls to the dress appointments at other stores and it was so hectic and I ended up thinking wedding dresses are not for me. I came here alone on a Sunday which is so great that they were open because most other places are not. There were two ladies that helped me out and oh wow I found way too many dresses I loved. They were so great to work with and just had such wonderful pieces.

About one month ago I went dress shopping at Brides of France. We arrived right when the shop opened on Saturday morning. My mom, sister and I were warmly welcomed by the ladies working that morning. There were several pairs of flip flop sandals by the door that we were asked to wear while shopping. It was a snowy day and I can appreciate them not wanting the yuck tracked through the store.

We were able to look through the dresses and pull the ones that I wanted to try on. The shop is not very big but the ladies know these dresses so well. I primarily worked with Kim this day but we were the only ones shopping so the other ladies working were helping me too. Every dress I pulled she was able to tell me the a little bit about it. This was only the second time I had gone dress shopping for my wedding dress. Kim never pressured me into anything I didn't want to try and gave me her honest opinion when I wasn't sure on something.

They offer a wide variety of sample sizes of the dresses. We were encouraged to take as many photos of the dresses as we wanted. I don't live in town so Kim wrote down the details of the dress I liked best and encouraged me to call for their black Friday sale if I was interested in buying. I didn't find my dress here but had a great experience trying dresses at Brides of France. Thank you to Kim and all the ladies working at the Brides of France on November 2.

My mom and I happened across Brides of France when were walking back to our car after a bridal appointment at another shop in the neighborhood. It must have been fate because everything about my experience was incredible. I worked with Jill (the owner?) and she was so amazing! Not only did she provide tons of guidance on what would fit my body type, venue and budget, but she gave advice on undergarments, accessories I wouldn't have considered, as well as alterations, bustling, etc.

My experience here made me feel like a bride for the first time since starting to plan my wedding. One other thing I really appreciated was that they carry a very good selection of samples in sizes 16/18. The other stores I'd went to were definitely lacking in the larger sample sizes.

I was incredibly impressed with the service and selection! The women were caring, honest, and listened to what I wanted/my budget. I went, and never felt pressure to make a decision and was encouraged to come back when they could tell I was indecisive. The second time I went, I ended up finding the dress and it was under $1,000! I seriously don't have enough good things to say about this place!

I went in to their shop, inches from crazy due to being overwhelmed by dresses, and left with THE DRESS. They patiently took me through my options, showed me dresses that fit my body type and didn't try to sway me one way or the other. I had gone to another consignment shop before this and this was by far a superior experience. They also gave me options for a seamstress. If you want your dress at a better price with a concierge experience, go here!

I wasn't sure if I could afford the dresses in this store just because of the ritzy area. I didn't have an appointment which worked well although it was a Wednesday afternoon. I worked with Kathy. It was my first time trying on dresses and she was so patient with me and let my bridesmaids and me pick some dresses as well as picked some amazing dresses that I wouldn't have picked myself!

She made sure to stay in my budget and since there were consignment dresses I had plenty to choose from. Kathy wasn't pushy so she could make a sale. Overall I would recommend this store to anyone!

I walked in the door with my wife and was greeted with a judgmental look of disapproval from an elderly woman who was altering a wedding dress. Rather than asking how she could help, she directed us out of her store and down the street to a different (less expensive) wedding shop. My tasks earlier in the afternoon had me dressed in dirty jeans and flannel and it was made quite clear to both my wife and I that we were the wrong type of millionaires for her shop.

I told the woman that we were interested in alterations and was told that they only did wedding dresses as though I was not smart enough to know that. I am a 56 year old retired software engineer with a daughter who needs wedding dress alterations. Had I walked in the door wearing a suite and tie I know my experience here would have been different. If you've spent the day doing volunteer yard work for the elderly, be prepared to be treated like a bum. I'll go somewhere else.

Really great salespeople. Nice, helpful and not pushy. Beautiful dresses. Had a great experience! Didn't need an appointment.

They were very nice and helpful, but they have a selection of 50 dresses tops. Very limited and I am not sure how they stay in business if that is all they have.

I visited/found the shop when stuck at a light. It's at a busy Edina center so parking is a drag but there's the ramp not far off. Anyway, the service is excellent. They carry around 20-30 different dresses averaging $2k ($3k at max I believe). The owner/worker provided excellent service. They're friendly, knowledgeable (in wedding dress, not just fashion), and very helpful. I'm not going to David's bridal (regardless of cost and availability).

This is a family owned business so they take care of you like you matter. Wedding planning is a stressful business and this shop gives me the feelings that my dress is set & that I can concentrate on something else. The dressing room is just enough for a bride but you'll get plenty of help that this won't matter. There's accessories, headpieces, veil, jackets, etc. to try on with the dress to complete the look.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Brides of France and their sister, consignment-based store next door. The sales associates who helped me out were all extremely nice, personable, and didn't put any pressure on me to buy right then and there. While all of the dresses were beautiful (beautifully cut, constructed, and detailed) they weren't "the one" for me so I unfortunately did not purchase my dress from here, but I will not hesitate to recommend Brides of France for brides and bridesmaids in the future.

Very disappointed in this store. I went in with a friend who was looking for a wedding dress, and out of the blue I found one I really loved, tried it on, and then decided to order it for myself. I have been with my fiance for 10 years, and we aren't too excited about getting married (we love each other and it seems everyone who gets married these days whom we think will last forever and are perfect for each other, well, they end up divorced!) We don't want that, so we are in no rush. Anyway, I bought the beautiful dress, and they said it would take months to arrive. no problem, we didn't even have a date for our wedding! So, it comes in, and I get a phone call.

They are only open in the evenings twice a week, and who likes to go to 50th and France on the weekends? So I told them that I will come in one of these days. well, time passes, and FINALLY, I swing by since I am in the area. They have misplaced my dress. I left a message with the person who was working the store, and she said someone would call me.

That was 3 months ago. How disturbing. Anyway, I am very disappointed in the customer service, that they don't even have record of my dress purchase, and they misplaced my dress. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Even though I am not the typical bride -- I am not big into fancy gatherings and I would rather just have my friends and family just be around, even if it is in a church banquet hall -- I just want to share my time with those I love and not spend a fortune.

But I can understand that other brides LOVE to be the center of attention -- and they should be, it is their special day. I can't see them getting that attention here. Be beautiful -- have a wonderful time on your special day. but go somewhere else for your dress and accessories.
