Bridal Loft

I bought my wedding gown at a local bridal salon and they had listed Andrea as one of their preferred seamstresses. I contacted her to schedule my first dress fitting a month or two before my gown was scheduled to arrive due to COVID. Good thing I asked if the first fitting was a consultation because I was told that it was not. Andrea said that since wedding season is upon us, she would not be scheduling consultations with new clients and would only accept ones that are interested in hiring her off the bat.

This was definitely something I was not comfortable in doing. She even urged me to schedule all my fittings at once! The same thing happened to a friend of mine who contacted her in the Winter time. Definitely was not wedding season around then. Disappointed and will let my friends know about my experience when they are in need of a seamstress.

Excellent seamstress that shows incredible care and detail for not just the dress but the bride! She made sure my soon-to-be sister-in-law brought in two people for her final fitting so we could learn her complicated bustle before the big day to help things go smoothly. I will be back here for my own dress alterations someday.

Andrea is simply the best at what she does! My 3 fittings with her were all enjoyable and fun. She did an amazing job on my dress and made me feel super comfortable throughout the process. If you need someone to alter your wedding gown, look no further. Call Andrea ASAP!

Andrea was amazing! My wedding dress was a fit a flare with beading and several layers. She altered the dress perfectly to my body and it turned out great! Andrea was organized and professional. She is truly talented and so fun to work with! I would highly recommend her!

Name has changed to The Creative Loft and it looks likes they sell veils and do alternations, and I'm not sure they still sell bridal dresses anymore. It looked like a shared location with another business so I couldn't tell if the other business was still trying to settle in or if it was the other. It was very confusing to find, no hours were posted and they were closed when I attempted to drop by on a Monday.

The voicemail said they were open Tuesday- Saturday. Online didn't specify that and I was hoping to scope out bridesmaids dresses. I felt like it was a waste of my time and don't think I'll try looking again during their business hours.

Andrea and her team are absolute miracle workers! I had a dress I loved but that arrived fairly close to my wedding. Her team worked wonders to alter my dress to ensure it fit me like a glove, hid my sins, and accentuated my curves. Working with her was a fantastic experience and she was able to make me feel comfortable at every fitting, worked with my scheduling issues, and just made the whole experience great. Highly recommend her and her team!

Andrea with August Veils was phenomenal. I went in for three fittings and even had two of my local bridesmaids stop in to get their dresses altered. Andrea was so much fun to be around, which is important when you're standing there trying not to move. Not to mention she is an expert at what she does. I completely trusted her with my dress and couldn't have been more thrilled with how it turned out. I tried to attached pictures to show how it fit. Highly recommend!

Andrea is the nicest women in the world. From the very beginning she was saying that she wants every bride to have a connection and be so happy with whom they hire to do their alterations. She recognizes the chaos a bride is already dealing with and wants to help through her services, as well as to make the brides trip efficiently done the first time.

When I spoke with Andrea, she humbly explained why they are quality, and will NOT make you feel badly if they aren't what you are looking for. Andrea was very considerate and patient with me even though I ended up being able to exchange my dress for a perfect size where it had been originally purchased. Though I did not end up being in need of their services, she was so sweet, and even expressly happy for me when I had to cancel the appointment. If you want to feel taken care of and not feel pushed into anything, I would start here :-

I was suggested to Sewing Solutions from the place I bought my dress. On top of my dress being a VERY late arrival, it had some problems right off the bat. It fit horrible and I knew it. I was hopeful going to Kim after she was so highly suggested. The whole experience was less than desirable. I was already on edge about the dress fitting so horrible and what did not help was the repeated " I do not think there is anything we can do about that.

I can try. but I cannot promising anything." Wait, what? You can't make a dress lay flat.? Or you are giving yourself an excuse. Kim was fun at first but borderline caustic. If you are always making comments how tired you are of brides, get out of the business! I was always nervous about the dress. After two appointments, the bussel looked great but the dress STILL had problems.

The buttons did not lay flat, one side stuck out and it still did not lay flat. Kim was ready to just pass me off and charged me an ARM and LEG! I took the dress with me to Idaho and took it to the place my coordinator suggested. The new alterations woman was AMAZING! She fixed the back, finished the seam that was left UNFINISHED that was causing the poof and although she agreed there was nothing she could do about the lay she was very kind when I had a couple of tears. She was also sooo affordable. I do not have any other local suggestions for you but: Basically I would NEVER suggest sowing solutions to a friend.

I went to Andrea at August Veils to complete my wedding gown alterations as recommended by my wedding planner. I was very pleased with her and the team she works with as they were prompt, friendly, and very helpful. My dress was difficult to create a bustle for and she took the time to make it look right and listened to my wishes. At the end of the day I was very pleased and would definitely recommend them to anyone needing alterations done.
