We always recommend that all reservations are made as soon as possible, you do not need to have a final order when you reserve, changes can be made as we get closer to your event. All equipment is subject to availability. We deliver one day before the event and pick up the next business day. Our standard delivery times are from 9 am to 6 pm, if you need delivery or pick up before or after these times there is an extra fee depending on the times and amount of equipment rented.Yes we do. There is a fee for equipment set up and breakdown.

I booked my event over 8 months ago (during the pandemic) since the lady that books appointments was in TJ she had to send someone else for measurements. I never got a estimate back via email or called. I called for a update and told they are booked for that day and not able to assist. Poor service this should be no stars.

I was working on 2 events with Belinda. On one of the events, I had let her know that we would definitely working with her & what the changes we needed on the Event Order were. She stopped responding to me & never sent me the revised order. We started calling her every hour on the hour & once she finally answered, she told me that because we hadn't paid a deposit, she gave our date away.
The thing is that she owed me an updated invoice & had she informed me that we needed a deposit to hold the date, I would have paid it immediately. Not only was she unapologetic, it was obvious she didn't care since she's so busy right now. I'm not a person who writes reviews often.and with the craziness in the industry right now, I try to give everyone grace.
But I also feel like I need to warn people that they are not professional. If you want to work with them, I'd suggest going in with open eyes, and also know that you need to pay a deposit ASAP in order to make sure that your date is safe. Because you could be working with her one minute, and she will give your date away while you wait for her to get back to you.

I called just to see if I could rent 12 chairs and 2 tables. I tried to say that I could pick up and drop off myself since the reservation was for the same week, but the woman I spoke with was so rude that she wouldn't let me finish a single sentence. Even though the rental was not possible for this particular event, I would have kept them in mind for the future had she not been so horrible at customer service. Never will I consider this place for the future and I strongly discourage anyone else from considering them as well.

I have been looking around for rentals for my upcoming wedding. SDPR prices seemed good, but they had almost no photos on their web site (red flag #1). I tried calling them, but no one picked up (red flag #2). The message went straight to a generic voicemail (red flag #3) that listed a phone number different than the one listed on their web site (red flag #4). Finally, no one ever called me back (red flag #5). So, no, they will not get my business.

I have been using San Diego Party Rentals for the past three years for my work events in Campo, CA.the organization that I work for has been using the same company for the past decade. If you are familiar with Campo, CA. then you know how extreme and unpredictable the weather gets. Rain, winds and even snow. the company is always there and on time. Belinda is always helpful with the decisions for my events, and Nicolas. he is always on top of things.
From set up in Campo at 6:00am until breakdown at 7:00pm. These guys and gals have everything under control. which is one less thing that I have to worry about during my event planning mission. San Diego Party Rental is extremely reliable, consistent and always goes above and beyond expectations. I've been using San Diego Party Rentals for over 10 yrs now. more like 15yrs if I recall correctly. I've never been let down. Their delivery guys have always been super friendly and fast. They're equipment has always met my expectations, clean and sturdy. I used them recently and once again it was a pleasure. Competitive prices and great service. I even had to add some stuff last minute to my order and they were able to accommodate me. Highly recommended!

We used San Diego Party Rentals to help with our food distribution event that the Chula Vista Welfare Council hosted in collaboration with the Chula Vista Community Collaborative and the Chula Vista Elementary School District. Our group ordered a number of tables, and were pleased to see how professional and helpful the staff were in both set up and pick up of the tables before and after our event. Do not work with them they are scammers, they will not give you what you want, they will take all your money there tent not water proof they didn't finish there work and didn't answer my call or msgs don't work with this guy Juan Carols Nicolas, my event was disappointed and they didn't do anything or bring the lighting after a paid him $3000, I'm sure they don't care about reviews because I saw they didn't answer anyone on there reviews, that can explain my point about them.

I have seen festival porta potties that were cleaner than what they tried to set up in my yard. I ordered a canopy tent well over two months ago. Last week I called to make sure the delivery was scheduled properly. Today I called and was told that one of their trucks broke down and they would be late, they finally arrived and pitched a filthy dirty canopy with holes in it at 6 o'clock in the evening and told me they didn't have anything cleaner.
I asked if they had something else in a different size and was told no, that's all they have. I asked for a refund and was told that I had to email photos and hand write something before my money could be refunded. Aside for the fact that now I do not have a tent for my party on the night before my party, I also have to jump through hoops to get my money back. Unless you have low standards of cleanliness and don't mind paying a lot of money for mildew covered rentals, DO NOT trust this company with your party rental needs.

I have used San Diego Party Rentals on a number of occasions. They provided great service and value. Can't say enough about their team - prompt on time delivery with very accommodating staff. All the items rented were in excellent shape - I will not use anyone else! Our last event was a party was a post game dinner for my son's college baseball team - amazing evening thanks to SD Party Rentals!

We got married on September 2, 2017. We used San Diego Party Rentals for our tent, chairs for the ceremony space, a few tables, an arbor for the ceremony space, the linens, dance floor, banquet equipment, lighting and plates/knives/forks/cups etc. They did a fantastic job. Everything was set up on time and ready to go for the event. The tent and dance floor were set up the day before the event.
They were very easy to communicate with and it was easy to edit my list of what I was renting. They came out on site, looked at the space and let us know what size tent we would need. They even gave me more options of things I could rent that would match my specific theme. You can even visit their office to see the linens as well as any other items you want to pick out and choose exactly what you want. I definitely recommend them.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! Here is my experience. - Were supposed to get delivery between 4-6 pm. No call or delivery till 7:30pm. - Then delivery is incomplete. They didn't bring the chair covers. - The guy I spoke to on the phone said that they will be back by 9pm with chair covers. It's 1030 and no call or covers. - No one answers phone. No support. - Really really crappy service. Save yourselves. There are others who are more professional who can help. Check out their crappy reviews on BBB too. D.

Wish I could give zero stars. I had a contract with SDPR for my wedding in December, having paid the deposit with then in April (8months before wedding date). Today, less than 2 months away from the event, I got a call from SDPR telling me whomever made the arrangements was in training and they are actually not open the day of the event (a Saturday in San Diego), and will not be able to HONOR their contract.
There was no help offered to cover with their mistake, nothing at all. The lady with whom I talked said she could refer me to X business and when I asked for the phone number she told me "let me Google it for you". If you say you're going to refer someone to a service after a HUGE mistake, have the decency to have names and phone numbers available. They also called me after 5pm, so I couldn't even try to fix the situation the same day. Will be calling the BBB on them first thing tomorrow.

We used SDPR for our daughter's recent wedding. We rented a 40' x 60' tent, fully draped lining, chandeliers, and ambient lighting for the tent, draped ceremony canopy with chandelier, market lighting, and lounge furniture. Everything turned out beautifully. Denise and Nicolas were so helpful and put everything in to making the day so special.
They also worked very well with out wedding planner. The staff at the hotel / venue said the tent and full draping was one of the nicest they'd seen. A couple of days before the wedding a permit issue came up. SDPR took care of it within hours. They're a family - run business and truly take pride in making your special occasion just that, very special and beautiful.

I found out about Nicolas from my wedding planner (Hannah Smith Events). He provided ceremony draping and ballroom draping for us. The wedding was at Crowne Plaza San Diego. It turned out really nice and we got so many compliments! I loved how it looked in photos. Nicolas took time to visit the venue on his own so he could provide an accurate quote.
My wedding planner and him met up there since I don't live in San Diego. I initially thought ballroom draping would not be in my budget, but pricing was reasonable compared to other companies I consulted with. We went with a simple 4 point drape in the ballroom. Even with its simplicity I felt it made quite the impact on the look of the reception.
Since the ballroom was open the night before the wedding, they went ahead and draped the ceiling and returned for the ceremony site the morning of. They are busy so I did need to follow up a couple of times if a questions didn't get answered in emails. Potentials customers will need a bit more patience, but Nicolas does beautiful and dependable work!

Nicolas installed floor to ceiling draping across the back wall of our reception space for our wedding at Scripps Seaside Forum. He had an awesome price and was very accommodating, especially considering that I contacted him less than two weeks before our date! When I realized we needed someone to hang 40+ paper lanterns on the trellis outside ceremony (three days before our wedding) he was more than willing to oblige. Both the draping and the lanterns looked beautiful and we could not be more pleased. We would definitely work with San Diego Party Rentals again.

I hired San Diego Party Rentals for my wedding yesterday at the Coronado community center. I recently had a bad experience renting chairs with another rental company, Luis ensured me that the chairs delivered for my wedding would be clean. I was impressed with their service. My chairs and arch arrived clean and on time. They also arrived at the scheduled time for pick up.
I was a little worried after reading some on their yelp reviews but my experience with San Diego Party rentals was positive. They exceeded my expectations. and I would recommend them.
