Big Bear Hitching Post Wedding

Went with the scrapbook group for the weekend. Excellent beautiful Bed & Breakfast. Excellent food and a lot of it. Very caring staff and owners. Impeccable grounds. Highly recommended.

It was the perfect stay. Rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The grounds are so relaxing. The hospitality is unparalleled. And the food was fantastic! The breakfast was big, tasty, and satisfying. They are the best B&B I have seen with dietary restrictions, everyone was taken care of, whereas most places do the bare minimum or make lots of mistakes. There's no way I'll stay anywhere else in Big Bear. It's simply the best!

I'm so glad that I stumbled upon this wonderful gem of a place. All of the staff are very friendly and sweet. It's such a cozy, beautiful, and peaceful environment. Each room has its own unique vibe. Not to mention how delicious the breakfast was. I will most definitely be coming back! A big thank you to the owner, Laurie, for her wonderful service.

Stayed here with my mom for a late birthday getaway, and was not disappointed! No trouble finding them, building is lit up nicely and is painted in a nice standout color. The room was clean and beautiful. With an amazingly comfy bed, and a cozy fireplace. It was always nice and quiet, I sometimes forgot we weren't the only ones there. Wifi and cable worked great.

There was also plenty of board game and DVD options in the livingroom. The breakfast was delicious. Each morning we were there we got some yogurt with fruit and jam, an egg dish, meat, and something sweet. Coffee, orange juice and water. Afternoon snacks around 3pm and dessert served around 6pm. During our stay, the snacks were charcuterie boards and desserts were apple cupcakes, pumpkin and spice trifle, and caramel brownies (yum!).

Access to lots of different options of hot and cold drinks, in the livingroom area, and a Keurig in the room. The staff was awesome. Ellie and Donna were great hosts. The handyman and his wife (I'm sorry, I'm drawing a big blank on their names), were the nicest people! Always had a smile on their face, always gave off such a warm feeling (makes me more annoyed with myself for not remembering names!). We will definitely be staying here again. Haven't been that relaxed in a long time.

Family owned supper attentive and sweet staff always willing to help. Beautiful rooms if you love the vintage. The garden room and views are really relaxing. Sit back with your tea, hot chocolate or coffee and enjoy.

Such a cute hotel - usually i never post reviews before the end of my stay but I'm already convinced I'll love it here for the remaining time as well. We came here for labor day weekend to get away from the city and chose this bed and breakfast because it just seemed so lovely and charming. What can I say? It's even more cute in person! I love the main area, the garden, our America themed room (so fitting for labor day), the outside look of it, and just all the love that went into the details here. Plus, they helped us check in late since we couldn't arrive before 11pm! A super cute trail behind the hotel helps you recharge away from the crowds. Definitely love this place and would love to come back with family!

Simply Beautiful. The atmosphere is very welcoming and friendly. The decor is so well done, each room we saw was so well coordinated. We stayed with other family members and had the opportunity to see three rooms. All rooms very clean, clean linens, clean towels, bathrooms and showers wonderfully clean. The staff was so sweet. The breakfast is served at 9, my husband thought it was delicious as did the rest of my family.

I was treated very well when I asked for a bowl and milk for cereal I brought with me because my stomach was not ready for a rich breakfast. During the day you have access to an ice machine, some drinks in a fridge and can make hot tea at your leisure. Some rooms had a coffee maker in them. There is a dvd library, some books and board games available in the downstairs gathering room. We plan on staying again with Apples.

Great and relaxing atmosphere. The room was very spacious and cozy. Bed was really amazing, hot tub was awesome! The only thing that took me aback from this cozy spot was one of the staff's actions towards me and my friend. This person wasn't welcoming or inviting to either of us. Not sure if it was because of our skin or our sexual orientation, but they we're definitely friendly towards other people of similar background as their self. All in all, the place was a nice cozy spot but thinking the staff should start taking courses in learning how to treat people of all backgrounds with respect.

This place is soooooo charming. Upon checking in we were handed delicious homemade cookies, and in our "breakfast in a bag" were homemade muffins. Santiago has great hospitality and is cool as a cucumber. The rooms are cozy, beautiful, and clean! Would recommend this place to anyone, and will definitely be staying here again!
