Coordinated a wedding for a friend's daughter at this building and was in awe every time we went there. The ambiance was warm and welcoming. The staff went above and beyond any time I asked for anything. They worked with our schedule and take their business seriously. My daughters are way too young to get married any time soon, but I will definitely take them when the time is right so they can possibly decide to use this place as well.

What a cute wedding venue! My sister was just married here and it was so nice. The upstairs area was for the ceremony, the ground floor for dinner and dancing, and the basement was the bar. The bar was a little pricey but it is what it is. There was a bridal suite off to the side where we could store our stuff and the bride could get dressed. It's probably not large enough for everyone to get ready in there though.
A nice touch was that the venue staff set aside all of the stuff guests left behind and made themselves available for people to pick up after the fact. As someone who forgot something important, it was so nice I was able to go by the next day and get it

Just had my daughter's wedding and reception here. It could not have gone better! Great management that were continuously responsive to emails. Great food as our guest complimented us on our meal choice. The room was ready to go to our exact requests, colors. table settings, etc. Catering personnel were friendly, kind, and helpful. With any luck, my other two daughters will want their wedding and reception here! Thank you everyone involved in the Van Druten wedding!

We fell in love with the Mitten Building at first sight! We booked our daughter's wedding here, and couldn't be more pleased with the entire process. The price was in her budget, and not only was the rustic brick and wood perfect, as she wanted a certain look and feel to the wedding. The staff was always attentive to our questions, and we want to give a shout out to Mary and Landon who helped us with all the details! Jenn and RJ were the best bartenders as well. the evening went smoothly, and the serving staff helped so much during the ceremony and reception! The food is the best. there was plenty of choices, and the mexican menu we chose was awesome! Thank you Mitten Building staff!

I meet weekly here for a networking breakfast. The Mitten Building provides the space, tables, chairs and breakfast. When our group started meeting here, we were charged a flat fee. A employee cleared our plates, so we didn't have dirty dishes in front of us during our meeting and was to refill the water and coffee and also there if we needed anything, such as a pot of tea.
The breakfast was of at least average to good quality and a decent variety. I actually loved the handmade sausage with spices. Most people found something they enjoyed in the breakfast. If members needed to stay later to meet further, it was not a problem. Our group felt it was a good value. Fast forward about 3 years later. Now, we are charged a higher flat fee for a minimum number of people, which our group occasionally goes below.
If our group is over that minimum, we are charged per head. There is no longer an employee present to clear our plates, so we have dirty dishes sitting there for the entire meeting. If we need something, like a pot of tea, salt, water, etc., there is no one to provide it. Now the food is of low to below average quality. Hash browns are somewhat uncooked and cold. Pancakes feel stale and tough, as though they had been made at least a day before. Bacon (shown) is cold and congealed with fat, making it in-edible. Sausage no longer handmade, is chopped up kielbasa that is usually under or overcooked.
Many people do not eat because the food is so unappetizing. We are shooed out at 15 minutes past our meeting time. We are paying way too much for bad food and no service. I do not recommend this place for ongoing meetings. The price will increase as service and food quality decreases. Not good business!

We had our daughter's wedding at The mitten Building. It was beautiful. The venue was set up as requested. The food was delicious. We received many compliments from our guests about the quality of the food and how wonderful the wedding was. Parking was not a problem. We hired Jennifer Simms from The Mitten Building as our coordinator. It was the best thing we could have done.
She made sure we had everything we needed for the wedding and reception. Everything ran smoothly from the rehearsal to the wedding and reception. We highly recommend Jennifer and The Mitten Building.

I came here for an event and I loved the indoor brick look with the small cute outside patio. The staff were very friendly, patient, with good customer service. The facility was also clean. I admired that for the ladies restroom they offered necessities for free (bobby pins, body spray, etc). Parking is limited so id conserve and carpool if possible.

My friends had their wedding here and it was the most beautiful and intimate wedding we have ever gone to! Everything about the place was so magical! It was fairytale like. If you're looking for a nice venue, this is the place! They had a bar on the third floor which was great. The venue was very spacious. The food was amazing too!

Such a beautiful place for a wedding. Such a perfect canvas to decorate. Perfect for vintage, simple and industrial chic weddings! I came to this venue to photograph my clients wedding. Beautiful places inside and out for photography. The bar is to die for! Definitely make sure your photographer is skilled at not using natural light as there is not a lot of it in the venue.

As a coordinator, it's always important to find venues that are not only beautiful, but very accommodating. The Mitten building not only offers years of history in its structure, but its staff is well equipped to make any event run smoothly from start to finish! With two rooms to choose from, in house Catering and a built in bar, you're halfway done with the planning of your event once you book with The Mitten.

I have been wanting to get married at the Mitten Building for about 10 years and it finally happened. The staff was amazing to work with and worked with us so well due to us living out of state. I just love how the building has exposed brick and wooden beams everywhere. To me the prices were also amazing and you get so many choices. We had our ceremony and reception in the main room.
The bridal room was also nice and had tons of Room, one thing I would change is having a bathroom in it. The food was also amazing he was very hard to first pick a menu and then to pick what we wanted from the menu because everything was awesome. Also with the cake we asked for to go plates and we took the cake home that wasn't eaten. I am so happy we picked this place and they were available. I received so many wonderful compliments on the building, staff and food. So happy with everything thank you so much for my happy day.

What an interesting place! Its like New York City loft meets rustic barn. I love it! The staff is more than helpful and its obvious that they all love this building and care for it like its their own home. So refreshing from other venues that are obviously just trying to make a buck. Love love love The Mitten Building!

My Wife and I were married this past Saturday 10-24-15 in the main room. The venue speaks for itself as it is probably one of the nicest buildings one can get married in. It was love at first sight when we stepped in The Mitten. So, I write this review because I am beyond impressed with the Mitten's staff. The staff was so helpful, attentive and polite.
We had 200 guests and every one of them applauded the beauty of the venue and the attentiveness of the staff. The Mitten Building is worth every penny. If you are considering The Mitten Building as your venue, what are you waiting for? BOOK IT! Best decision we made.

Do yourself a favor and check this place out. Best kept secret for lunch in Redlands! Pork Belly Sandwich to die for, Meat Loaf Sandwich to die for, Chicken Sandwich is awesome and try the pickled Veggies! Perfect portion sizes, amazing flavours and really, really good prices. Next to the boiler room.
