Lisa was so fantastic, helping me search for a specific bridal gown that my cousin wanted. She went out of her way to work with us and, although we weren't able to purchase the gown through her shop, Lisa still offered her expert help and advice. I highly recommend Bridal Veil Fashions!

Lisa saved me. I got invited to a fancy gala less than a week before the event. My wife hadn't worn a proper gown since the start of the pandemic two years ago. She deserved a special night. But I couldn't find a tuxedo that fit in Santa Cruz - either to buy or rent. Someone told me the Bridal Veil might be able to bail me out. I came into Lisa's store stressed and without a tux two days before the gala.

I also had a crying baby with me. Lisa was calm, friendly, patient and competent. She fit me for a classic tuxedo and had my rental ready within 24 hours. I looked like I belonged at the gala, and my wife got the extraordinary night she deserved. It never would have occurred to me to enter a bridal store. Ever. Now I know there are understated heroes like Lisa in the world that make special events possible.

Sometimes we get last minute invitations to extraordinary places. Sometimes clothes don't fit. Sometimes clothes rip. Things change all the time. Lisa wasn't only there to fix my problem, but to offer support at a crucial time. I left Lisa's store looking forward to the event for the first time, rather than dreading it. Now I have a hundred memories from that night - a night Lisa made possible. 5/5 worth every cent.

Lisa was a wonder to work with. Very energetic and fun. My granddaughter did end up purchasing from her store. Can't share pic. don't want it public yet.

LOTS of super affordable wedding dresses that are of excellent quality. The ladies at bridal veil are amazing! They have created this beautiful atmosphere which allowed me an opportunity to have a dress shopping experience that was stress-free and tons of fun! I highly recommend

I had a horrible experience purchasing a bridesmaid dress here. I wasn't offered to try on the dress that I ordered and was seeing for the first time. The sales associate was just focused on me paying. They didn't care about my shopping experience they just hurried me to pay for my dress and leave.

I didn't end up buying my wedding dress here but I would highly recommend this shop to anyone who wants a beautiful traditional wedding dresses from someone who has LOTS of experience with helping women find a dress that suits them. The owner is very direct and shares her opinion freely, which I really appreciated. The prices are also very reasonable.

I originally went over the hill to try on dresses. Amazingly the first dress I tried on was "the dress", however they said the dress probably wouldn't come in until the day of my wedding (which is in October)! So, I called Bridal Veil to see if they had the dress or could get it much sooner. Low and behold, the next day they called me and said the dress is being made overseas and will be shipped and sent to me in a month! It literally came one month exactly from the day I made the call to them. The ladies who work there are amazing and sweet and extremely helpful and accommodating!

Let me start by saying I *did* get my dress here. It was beautiful. That said, this place charges too much for everything. Every chance they get, they will charge you. They have an archaic system of receipts and if you don't keep them, they're not good at keeping them either. They are rude, condescending, and made the whole experience extremely difficult for me.

Do not get alterations here, either, as they will charge you hundreds. I spent over $2k and was told everything would come in well under (oh but this rental and that bra and this.). For the sake of yourself do *not* go to this store. These women are so rude and treat you so badly.

I made a last minute appointment, since my mom was coming to town, they ladies here were very accommodating. They listened to my list of likes and dislikes, pulled several dresses that were contenders. They were helpful with their input and brought a few unexpected choices for me to try out. I ended up buying my dress here and can't wait to go back to see the real thing and do my fittings!
