Officiating a wedding is not an easy task. And everyone wants to have their wedding as the best wedding, so did we. We took several recommendations to choose our officiant for the special day. We are glad that Mark was recommended to us by our wedding planners. After the phone appointment we met MARK at a coffee place, where Mark aaked us a lot of questions and understood our relationship.

Not only Mark got his answers but also helped both of us relive the relationship that lead to the special day. He then included our story in the ceremony and made it very personal instead of a standard ceremony. He also helped everyone else participate in the ceremony. Mark is not only a great officiant but also a great human. I cannot recommend him enough. Also, Mark's moustache and his business card is cool.

Mark Toback was the officiant at my twin sister's wedding and I loved her ceremony so much that I wanted Mark to be my wedding officiant too. My husband and I met with Mark and told him about our lives, interests, careers, the story of how we met, etc. He really listened to us and was able to write our personal love story in our vows. We loved our meaningful and beautiful ceremony. Our families loved hearing our story too!. Mark was professional, punctual, and easy to get along with. We would definitely recommend Mark to other brides and grooms!

Mark was nearly family by the time our ceremony day arrived. He met with us, and got to know us as individuals, and as a couple. We got to know him too. He is a confident officiant, knowing and leading the process well, but he doesn't showcase himself during the ceremony- he makes sure it's all about you, your partner and your relationship.

He knows how to roll with the punches (making light of, and pausing for the train whistle that interrupted our ceremony; and bringing my attention back to the ceremony when my 3 year decided to become a distraction). My Father-In-Law said that ours was the most heartfelt, most personal ceremony he ever attended. We received so many compliments on the service. We honestly could not have been in better hands, and would not have changed a thing. Thanks, Mark!

Mark is an incredibly kind and joyful man - he was such a wonderful officiant for our wedding. He met with us before the wedding to get to know us better. He then he drafted a thoughtful and personal ceremony for us based on our conversation. He is a charismatic and jovial speaker, we loved our ceremony and received many compliments. Mark was incredible to make a personalized and touching wedding ceremony. He spent time getting to know us and made the process of editing and personalizing our ceremony so easy. We got so many comments after on just how perfect and beautiful the ceremony was and how well it represented us as a couple and how it showed through the love that we have for each other. Mark was also the perfect blend of professional and personal with some added humor and making us feel comfortable and happy.

We live in Chicago and got married in Capitola, CA. We wanted a pastor to officiate our wedding, so I called numerous local churches in the area. Apparently July is a huge month for pastors to travel, so one of them referred me to Mark. We are so thankful that he was able to perform our wedding - Mark was absolutely amazing. We met with him via Skype for a couple of hours so he could get to know us, and he really did a great job incorporating our interests and love for one another into our ceremony.

He sent us the ceremony so we could read through it and edit anything we wanted to change (which was very little). Almost every person at our wedding told us how much they enjoyed our ceremony - it was so personal. We highly recommend Mark - he was so easy to work with, very professional, and he really cared about us. Thanks to Mark for making our day so special and memorable.

Mark was wonderful! I was so happy that we did a rehearsal despite our wedding being tiny, and his experience came very handy! He was prompt on our wedding day and did a great job.

We loved working with Mark on our wedding ceremony! Because of our distance we were only able to meet with Mark via Skype before booking but he was very flexible and always prompt with any inquiries. We did not want to write our own vows but we also didn't want to stick to too traditional of a ceremony and Mark made that happen for us incorporating our personalities and interests as well as working with us to incorporate some friends who shared pieces at the wedding. We would highly recommend Mark as everyone still compliments us on what a beautiful ceremony we had.

Mark was an amazing officiant. We met for breakfast where he took the time to really introduce himself. He then spent some time getting to know our story. Besides that, he served double-duty in vetting some of our wedding timelines. We then iterated a few times on his script. He was great at both the rehearsal and wedding day. I would highly recommend Mark as an officiant for your wedding. We were only about a month away from our wedding and couldn't find an officiant we liked. getting desperate. We found Mark on Wedding Wire and he wanted to meet with us to talk about our ceremony and get to know us. We ended up talking for about 2 hours about everything, he made us very comfortable and was easy going.

As we got to know him you can see he truly enjoys officiating and meeting our family's and hearing our stories, my family thought he was great! He sent multiple copies of our ceremony for us to review and edit so there were no surprises, he made a small slip of names in the actual ceremony but no major problem. He really seemed happy for us and I would say that he created a very personal ceremony that only someone who really cares could. He is a great man who always seems happy and you would be lucky to have him as your officiant!
