Tastefully appointed ballrooms and gardens at the Ruthe Jackson Center will make all your dreams come true.
Traditionally appointed Grand Ballroom, featuring three leaded crystal French chandeliers. What we can say is that we've done $5,000 weddings and we've done $50,000 weddings-it all depends on your desires and your budget. Our venue costs range, for a week-end event, from $2500 to $5000 for venue rental.

At over 8,500 column-free square feet, the Ballrooms are the largest of the Center's rooms. With a movable wall, enhanced acoustical panels, built-in screen and audio, three exquisite seven-foot imported crystal chandeliers, rich wall coverings, and a beautiful arched window, these rooms add a touch of elegance to any event.
For more than half a century, Ruthe Jackson served Grand Prairie in many capacities - city council member, multiple terms as Mayor Pro Tem, environmentalist, business leader, Dallas county school board member, library benefactor, PTA leader, historian, and active church member. She was a member of more than 30 civic and philanthropic organizations, and of those, she was a founding member of 16. She was truly a force of nature. One of Mrs. Jackson's most coveted national honors included being the first Texas recipient of the Mrs.

My mother is a City employee and has been for 15 years so all my life I've been here for her banquet award nomination and the place is hugeeee! Restrooms are very professional especially from eating different cuisines like Arabian and Italian foods, but the center in general is a nice place and I highly recommend doing events there!

The staff was not very accommodating during the wedding. They did not stick to a lot of the things that was discussed in our weekly meetings. They did give us the impression they wanted to be there. The meat was over cooked. The staff was not very helpful to the guess. The 2 stars are because the place was nice and clean. I would suggest this place.

Our daughter had her wedding here. Being out of town they were great to work around our times coming in. They let us do it the way Ainsley wanted it and could not have been any easier to work with. Thanks for such a great coordinator that made this wedding run so smooth. Great food and awesome staff.

I loved having my wedding at the Ruthe Jackson Center! The outdoor garden space is beautiful and our need for outdoor decorations was minimal! In addition to the beautiful space, the staff is phenominal, and I might add, Cheryl is on point! I consider myself to be somewhat laid back, and having her create a time line and keep my wedding organized all the way through the reception was a godsend.
We experienced a small amount of rain the day of our wedding, but Cheryl and company were more than accommodating. They prepared an alternate ceremony location indoors, and even though we chose to continue with the ceremony outside, the garden was still lovely! Our guests raved about the food, and I really appreciate that the staff made a conscious effort to make sure that my husband and I got something to eat! I am very satisfied with my wedding at the Ruthe Jackson Center! This is such a wonderful venue that should not be overlooked!
