I just bought my daughter her prom dress and she loves it. The staff was helpful, friendly, and took the time out to find her the right dress.

I have been a customer of this business for the past 15 years. today I called to make arrangements for alterations for my 16 year olds prom dress. First they offered me an appointment for April 4th, I was like great! Then she asked if I bought the dress there. I did not, which in the past they still did my alterations with no problem. She then told me that they don't have any more appointments for her until the end of May! Prom is May 13th!

I then asked why all of a sudden there are no appointments available? When she first told me April 4th? She then replied because we need to take care of our girls first which meant the prom dresses that were purchased there at their store! I was so upset! In the past it was no problem now all of a sudden there is a problem? I am a paying customer!

Have always been! I have spent well over 1,500$ there in the past and from now on I will let every single person I know never to shop at Zilinskys! I will never step foot back in that store if they were giving dresses away! Maybe if they would update there disgusting store more people would want to buy dresses there! Or if they would update there inventory of prom dresses instead of having outdated dresses!

Or if they would carry smaller sizes instead of only having size 6 and up! My daughters are small size 00 they have nothing that small or if they do the dresses are ugly and outdated! Don't buy any thing from these ignorant people who don't care about the relationships they have with the local customers! This store needs torn down! Local Charleroi Mom

Very nice place many different dresses, and colors sizes styles, helpful staff, who took the time to help get the perfect dress for a plus size girl. Thank you so much for your help.

If you do not know how to measure a person you should not be in the tuxedo and suit business. 3 out of 6 tuxes were measured wrong. THREE days before the wedding. My suit was supposed to look fitted. The pants have enough room in the legs to fit another person in. Not even an apology. I am furious. Now I need to find a pair of pants that match the jacket and spend even more money. Do Not Recommend.

Ordered my son a tux for prom arrived two days before prom open up tux find out the ultra slim fit high hemmed pants he wanted are not only not hemmed but not tight like the sales person kept saying during first visit. We asked to speak to owner several times but was told we couldn't until 10 a.m. which would be the day of the prom. Was offered my money back which is a joke considering it's around 5 o'clock the night before the prom.

His only option is to wear that tux or miss his chance to go to prom his senior year. I explained how his 84 year old grandmother who is in the icu at the hospital used to work their as a teenager. Her reply sorry to hear that and then silence. Between the two visits I was told by salesperson how good she is at her job. Well clearly she is out of touch with what today's youth are wearing.

Terrible customer service. You try to support local businesses and then this is what you get. We specifically asked and explained that his only request was to have pants as we described. The sales lady now says that the ultra slim are only tight in the waste a total flip flop from the first visit. After what these kids have had to deal in 2020 and 2021 not to mention the situation with his grandma you would think zelinskis would have some compassion. Also do you see any replies to bad reviews from zelinskis. I guess they make enough money to ignore complaints from dissatisfied customers.

If you're bigger than a size twelve don't waste your time. For wedding dresses they will try to stuff you in a tiny dress to "get the picture" of what can be ordered. One dress in a sixteen. Nothing larger. They made me feel so fat! I guess that I shouldn't have been shocked. For prom they only had one dress for me to try that actually fit me and it was so ugly and the lady was just trying to sell me on it to make a sale.

These guys knocked it out of the park for my son! His tux was great he had a blast at the prom so happy thank you guys! The staff was very professional and courteous. Great service and great prices what more could I ask for! Highly recommend

Ordered my mother of the bride dress 6 months before the wedding. I Was told plenty it was of time. Owner ordered my dress two sizes too big larger than my size ( I was unaware of this). When the dress came in obviously it was enormous, seamstress Nina had to basically remake the entire dress ( at my expense) When I came on my scheduled appointment to pickup dress, a few days before the event.

It still isn't ready. I'm sitting here waiting for the dress and it's been two hours and it's still not ready. I blame the owner Judy, for ordering such an enormous dress, that the seamstress had to completely recreate. Owner must know better. I'm only 5 0 tall and 120 lbs. Even Nina said dress was ordered excessively large. Would not come here again. But I guess when you're the only shop in town one client doesn't really matter.

Ordered my wedding dress from here 10 mo. before my wedding and was told it would take 8 mos to arrive. After 7 months I called to check on the dress and was notified it was in (even though no one called to notify me). When I arrived at the shop to try it on I became suspicious. At my first fitting I asked to see the sample dress to compare and that's when they finally came clean that they never ordered my dress and were in fact trying to sell me the sample dress at full cost.

I was told I would be taken care of but they only offered me 10% off because "that's the discount the offer for sample dresses" because I CHOSE a sample dress? no, just beware that's you're double checking their honesty, this can't be the first time they pulled this stunt. The seamstress is the ONLY reason my dress experience was salvaged, she is WONDERFUL.

If you want to pay too much go here. If you want to have no idea who made your dress go here. They won't tell you who the designer is and they cut all the tags off so you can't see

Beware of alterations! My daughter in law purchased a dress for an upcoming wedding. She was measured by an employee in the store. She went to her first of several fittings, only to discover the dress was ordered several sizes too big. After numerous alterations, which she had to pay for, the dress is drastically deformed. She was hoping to wear it to formal functions in the future, but not in its current condition.

Although the dress was ordered in ample time, the alterations were FINALLY completed one week before the wedding. Unfortunately, the it's too late to take it to a real professional. I really don't know how this place remains in business. The back zipper is puckered in the low back area, causing the zipper to stick directly out of her tailbone.

The cups are also misplaced in the front of the dress. The worst part is they admitted the dress has a defect, but not until months later. No compensation or apology was offered. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!

I had a terrible experience with this location. I had been looking for dresses earlier in the day, and I knew what I wanted and didn't want. Everything I basically said I did not like, Jennifer had me try on, so I didn't like any of them. I got a little snippy because I was frustrated with what they were making me try on when it was nothing I liked. Also, the sizes were not what I said either.

I knew what size I was, but that was ignored. Jennifer told me to get dressed and to leave. She said I was wasting everyone's time and I should make an appointment the next time. I wasn't even there an hour. Both sales ladies also seemed annoyed that we had come in without an appointment. Meanwhile, it was 3pm and they said we were their first customers of the day. I was highly disappointed with the experience. I will not make an appointment there, and I will tell everyone to not go there.

The woman I dealt with was Sarah, and she was amazing. Such an outgoing personality. I actually live over an hour from this place. I chose to make the drive instead of having my gown sent to me, just so I could meet her. The dress I wanted was an older design, and she found the last one for me. It doesn't matter where your dress comes from. Sarah made this experience unforgettable.

After using Zelenski's for two different occasions for my daughter, this shall be the last. After over and over trying to shop local, I continue to be disappointed in service and professionalism within our area. Especially when we are in the midst of a recession. Upon trying my daughters gown on granted two 1/2 weeks prior to prom, I find that we were not to be serviced as far as any alterations.

At first I felt our lateness was to blame. Upon contacting other seamstresses and businesses similar, across the board all said they were totally out of line in closing the door on us and any hope of alterations. All we're doing alterations up to the midnight hour to please their clients. They stated "that is part of the transaction of purchasing a dress".

Of course not without charge. I think our valley sometimes try to live on in the glory days of patrons streaming through the doors. This kind of behavior is not acceptable today. Sorry Zelenski's but I am sure I shall soon see your business fall by the wayside as the rest of your town.
