I cannot express enough how impressed I was during the almost year long planning of my daughter's wedding. It was just perfect - the tent was beautiful, lighting magical, cloth wraps on the poles added perfect finishing touches, farm tables exactly what my daughter wanted and the weather pristine!

The Event co did our wedding tent and furniture rentals and were simple fab! We had a bunch of issues pop up due to construction work at our venue and Missy went out of her way to help me during my time of bridal distress. They are very reasonable compared to equivalent companies, are prompt, professional and good quality. Missy especially is very smart, on the ball, and highly efficient. Save yourself drama and money and go with them. Thank you to Missy and the rest of the team for making our day special.

They added unnecessary stress to our wedding. We hired them for our small backyard wedding to supply the tent and furniture. Here is the summary of our experience with them: - Late to set up tent - Tent was dirty - Tent was white, not clear as we specified on the contract - Took them 4 trips before we had everything we rented in our contract - Forgot the furniture and were not able to bring it until the following day causing scheduling issues because we had decorators coming to set them up - Had to call their emergency number to get in touch with them - Made excuses and were unapologetic and rude in person - Flaps of tent not secure and flapped loosely, knocking over some decorations and blowing into bartenders back the entire evening Ultimately, the day was still fantastic and the tent served its purpose, it is just unfortunate they weren't easier to work with.

When we had to transform our backyard into a wedding venue we were suddenly faced with coordinating so many unfamiliar aspects of event planning. Working with Taylor and Missy at The Event Company made the tent and other rental details a breeze. They understood how important this event was to us and were extremely responsive and accommodating. After scoping out the yard with Taylor I was completely at ease that he understood what we needed. Missy was awesome, with a quick an accurate quote, answering my many questions, and updating the numbers and sizes of tables as we approached the big day.
She was even able to accommodate a last minute request for some additional tables to be delivered the day of the wedding! The set up was smooth. Taylor was happy to shift the tent to my exact location and placed stakes in my preferred spots. When setting up the lights, Trevor was fine with moving them around to suit my needs. The guys that came to break everything down we're quick, quiet, and did so with no impact to my lawn, even after the rainstorm the day before. Our guests all commented how great the tent and lightning was. Thank you all for helping us create "the perfect wedding", according to our daughter!

My husband and I just got married in our backyard and worked with The Event Company. The prices were great, the set up and break down was seamless and the quality of the rented equipment was amazing! We had so many comments from guests on the tent lighting and barrel bar - as well as the lovely birch arch! I would highly recommend them!

This company gave me one of the most electric tents that I have ever seen. This was the kind of tent that demanded respect it was so good! Thank you to some of the best workers as well. We honestly would give The Event Company over five stars if we could. Their customer service is unmatched and working with Missy made stressful planning feel like a breeze. We used The Event Company for a chair rental for our wedding and also for a tent/tables/bar/lights/etc for our rehearsal dinner the night before our wedding. They set-up everything early giving us plenty of time to finish all our decoration ahead of the rehearsal and even helped move some things around to make our lives easier. Highly recommend The Event Company for any of your planning events! You will be extremely happy that you did and less stressed.

What an experience! They transformed our space into a magical fairytale with lights everywhere, then, less than 24 hours before my sister's wedding, a different vendor failed to show up with all of the rables, chairs, bars and benches. The Event Company swooped in and saved the day. They arrived early enough the day of for everything to be finished and it looked absolutely stunning. We can't thank them enough for turning what could have been a disaster into a masterpiece!

Stop! Don't look anywhere else. And especially don't go "off island" for great service, attention to detail and fabulous execution. Taylor, Missy and their wonderful team provided the furniture rentals and tent for my daughter's oceanside wedding. The tent was gorgeous and the installation was perfect ~ especially important as we were using a friend's yard for our venue.
From the very start of the relationship with Event Co, the team had a "can do" attitude. The phone was always promptly answered, changes were made without complaint and no question went unanswered. They even made a custom chandelier to hang over our dance floor. I can't say enough about doing business locally with great folks. I only wish they also provided linens and tableware.

Taylor was a pleasure to work with. He was efficient, courteous, and generous. Our wedding was right off the water in the midst of strong winds, and the tents held fast and kept our guests dry. He even let us stop by the warehouse and check out different types of lights, despite being in the middle of busy day. Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, but dealing with Taylor's company was easy as it gets.

The Event Company was the exclusive tent supplier for our wedding venue, the House of the Seven Gables in Salem. Where do I start with how awful of an experience this was? Weeks would go by without responses. Internet photos never matched up with their associated descriptions. 2 weeks before the wedding, after the contract was finally completed, we received a cold call from them saying they found our contact info and wanted to know if we were interested in using them, a gaff that horrified my wife and one that they refused to apologize for.
The day of the wedding the chairs showed up needing to be cleaned, covered in BBQ sauce. We ordered fans, but the "owner" gave our maid of honor a hard time on the day, claiming we did not, refusing to check our correspondence. When he was proven wrong, he, in typical Event Company fashion, refused to apologize. We loved our wedding at the Gables, and it was hands down the best day of my life.
The tent itself looked beautiful, the dance floor really held up, and the set up people were nice. None of these make up for the borderline abhorrent customer service and headaches we received from the management at the Event Company. Unprofessional, unapologetic, unnecessarily mean. Come on Gables, these people don't deserve your money.

Thank you Missy for all your help. I went back and forth a thousand times through email changing this changing that etc. Well it was worth it. The tent / lights were beautiful! I received so many complements that they didn't expect the set up to look the way it did. The tent definitely helped! The guys who also came to set up put in a lot of work to set everything up also. You guys did a great job, thank you!

I researched and called approximately 10 rental companies for chairs for our wedding. The Event Co has competitive pricing, but what made them stand out was the customer service. Missy was our sales rep and she was amazing to deal with. Always pleasant, upbeat, and prompt with responses. She also gave us different options for deposits and payments. The delivery and setup charges were also the lowest across the board. Hands down, I would recommend The Event Co to anyone renting chairs for any event!

I was fortunate enough to use this company for our wedding 11 years ago. They set up a gorgeous heated tent for us. In the middle of the cocktail hour, the generator went down. They came right out in the middle of a Saturday night, and within an hour had a brand new generator up and running. My guests never felt the loss of heat. I can't say enough great things about this company. We are now using them for my brother's wedding next June, and the customer service has been as wonderful as ever.
