Susannah was amazing! Right as I walked in to her store, she was there with immediate assistance. Susannah was warm, and was beyond nice. Additionally, her work was amazing. I gave her 3 dresses and once I got them back, they were perfect. I highly recommend her shop!

Susanna is very nice. Alterations are a little expensive for a dress that you bring there. But if you buy a dress she has there it's a little bit better of a price.

Susanna was very disrespectful and inconsiderate. She was saying that I was playing games and I should've knew what kind of dress I wanted. She ended up yelling at me and threatening me so I walked out and told her to start respecting her customers.

Writing this from the perspective of the Groom, my fiance was extremely stressed about getting her dress to fit properly. Susanna was fantastic, she really made her feel special, took her time and went out of her way to make my fiance's dress fit perfectly and how she felt amazing. Super grateful!

Suzanna is the real thing. You have to follow what she says. She knows what she is doing. She is the best of the best! I have taken dozens of dresses to her and it has always been worth it. Currently she is making my wedding dress! Custom! I could not be more pleased with it.

My MOH found Susanna and Im glad she did, she handmaid both my dresses. I showed her a picture of exactly what I wanted, she exceeded my expectations. Susanna was professional, super sweet and nailed every detail that was put into making my dresses a dream come true. She made my vision a reality and I can't thank her enough.

My dress fits perfect for my wedding. She is very busy though, so plan ahead and follow up with her regularly to be sure about details and give reminders as well as keep your receipt. But she did a great job and I am very happy with it as it is beautiful and fits perfect. She was so nice and even made a beautiful mask to match with it as well.

Susanna is amazing! I had gone to her before for a bridesmaid dress fitting and knew she was something special and very talented. When I got engaged I knew immediately where to take my wedding dress. During quarantine it was really tough trying to find a place that was open.but to no surprise Susanna was open! She is an angel and was wonderful to work with.

She fitted my dress perfectly, gave me suggestions on proper undergarments and even made a matching mask. I am so thankful to have found her and will forever be a supporter of her business. She truly does amazing work and I have gone to other tailors with less than impressive results. My wedding dress had these complicated traps in the back that Susanna effortlessly remeasured, she dry cleaned by dress so that it was truly white and even used blue threading for my bustle (something blue).

I would recommend her to anyone and I have; she even did my mother's dress for my wedding and two of my wedding guests. Susanna was just absolutely positive and flexible to work with especially during these unique times. She is fairly priced and really does go above and beyond to make sure you are a satisfied customer. My only recommendation is to absolutely CALL before going. She is a one woman shop and is very busy so just make sure you can get a hold of her before making the trip.

Susanna altered my elopement dress and did a fantastic job. She was very sweet and made sure I understood and would be happy with the changes she was going to make. The results were exactly what I expected and for a very reasonable price. I received so many compliments on my dress. I'd recommend her for sure!

I called Susanna Bridals when I had waited months for the store I purchased my wedding dress had not open. I needed my dress altered. From the moment we spoke on the phone, I knew she was trustworthy and had skills to make my dress wonderful. Her work was great. She managed to alter my wedding dress and my mother's dress in a few short weeks.

Susanna is amazing. She truly is a godsend for me. I am petite and love buying vintage and have been going to Susanna since 2016. Shes done probably over 20 pieces for me over the years- each one flawless. Shes the best (and very reasonably priced I might add)! For my wedding reception, she transformed my mothers 1980s dress into something totally chic and modern (these pics dont do justice). Thank you Susanna!

Suzanna saved my reception dress! I bought my wedding reception dress a year ago in India and I realized that I didn't love it so I went on a hunt to get a new dress kind of last minute. I went to several boutiques in NYC and NJ but I was having trouble so I impulsively bought the first dress I felt pretty good in. Unfortunately after I bought it I realized that the short lining of the dress looked awful in pictures and took away from the beauty and elegance of the dress.

I panicked a little but after talking to Suzanna I had confidence that she would fix it. "I won't give you the dress until I love it. if I love it you'll love it" was what she said. It's a strong statement but she held true to her promise. It was more complicated to lengthen than we originally thought but after a few tries she got it perfect!

She really does care. She's a little expensive but it's so worth it to have a tailor/seamstress who puts her heart into her work. Thank you Suzanna I felt beautiful :

I brought in my two wedding dresses to Susanna for alteration and she did an excellent job on both. One is an all-lace dress and the other is a beaded dress. Both are quite delicate to alter, but they were handled very good by Susanna. Susanna's a great, very meticulous seamstress who's also nice and sweet. She definitely knows her craft and her passion in what she does is admirable.

I must say though that the way she is or her personality isn't probably for everyone. She's like a grandma who's strict and insists her own ways because she knows they work. So if you come to her and micromanage what she'd do with your dress, you'd most likely clash. I suggest to bring in your item months before your event so you'd have time to come a few times to try it on and she would then also have enough time to work on it.

My dresses were baggy on me when I brought them in and she made them fit perfectly. I was 7-8 months postpartum, and I've made peace and accepted the fact that the dresses won't look the way they do when I saw them online on me - Lol! But they did look fine and I was happy with how they turned out : Many thanks to Susanna.

I have such amazing things to say about Susanna! She altered my wedding dress for my small ceremony in just 1 day in the middle of a pandemic! She was fantastic to work with, she made sure I was truly happy with everything and the dress looked fantastic! Prices were very reasonable too, especially for Hoboken! I will be back for all of my alterations in the future.

Got a bridesmaid dress altered there. The alteration was not good, I had to call a couple times to make sure it would be done by the time I left for my sister's wedding in L.A., and when I received it, there were oil spots on the back by the zipper from the sewing machine. She tried to brush it off like it wasn't a big deal.

Susanna is the most talented, experienced and kind person I have ever met! I came to her so last minute to fix my wedding dress. Job was not easy as my dress had to be completely remade. Her little boutique is jammed with beautiful and unusual dresses you cannot find anywhere else. I was very lucky to find her. She helped me to find a perfect dress that shows my personality and even gave me styling tips along with her skillful alteration service. Susanna is a very nice lady. You can tell by the numerous women who brings their dresses to her for alterations. She is flexible with timing and I am sure she does a good job. Her prices however, were the highest in the Hoboken area that I found for my dress. Her quotes were a good $150-$200 higher than others. Also, I saw that a customer came to pick up her dress just to be turned away because it wasn't ready. She was asked to come the next day. If I were a bride, I'd totally freak out if that happened to me!

Susanna is an amazing seamstress/tailor/artist. Brought my Watters skirt and corset for alterations and she turned it into a full gown! Susanna is very attentive to detail. She created a simply bustle which did not take away from the original design and altered a silk corset-a material which is very challenging to work with. In addition, she is very communicative. She always answered her phone and was very patient in addressing all questions. I would highly recommend Susanna for any tailoring and alterations!

Susanna is a sweetheart and her work is amazing and timely. This is my second time bringing items to her and she did not disappoint! She made a bridesmaid dress fit like it was made just for me and tailored my work pants, which were 2 sizes too big, to fit perfectly. Some of the other bridesmaids have decided to go to her based on the work she did on my dress too!

I have been taking my dresses to Susanna since 2013. She has altered several bridesmaid dresses, tailored or customized casual and formal dresses for me, and ultimately I brought her my wedding dress and veil to be cleaned and preserved this year. Susanna is an excellent seamstress and takes great pride in her work. She is honest about what can or cannot be done with a dress, and her prices are extremely reasonable for the quality of work.

She works alone and runs her own business, so you need to be comfortable with her personality and style. Because she is the sole seamstress and has a lot of customers, you sometimes need to follow-up with her to check on the status of your dress. I have always considered this a small price to pay for the quality of work and price. This year in particular, when I brought my wedding dress in to be cleaned, she charged me $100-$150 less than most cleaners in Hoboken and sent it out several times until all the dirt was gone (my bustle broke on the dance floor and the bottom seam was almost black).

When I came to pick it up, the dress was beautifully cleaned and preserved in a lovely box on a plastic bust to hold its shape along with my veil. I was thrilled! I will continue bringing my dresses to Susanna as long as I live in this area, she is worth it.

I want to start off by saying that I am so happy I brought my wedding dress to Susanna and she is an amazingly talented, kind, hard-working woman. Susanna strives for perfection in her work, and her dresses and alterations speak for themselves. Masterfully done, and a strict eye for detail, as an artist myself I really related to her style of working.

You may need to do fittings a few more times than usual, but she will make sure it is absolutely perfect before your wedding day. I bought my wedding dress at a designer consignment shop in NYC. The dress was dirty and had extremely complicated seams. I have larger hips and a smaller waist, so to tailor this took someone who was even capable of doing such a detailed alteration.

My skirt was also super heavy and scalloped; she ensured not only that it was done with perfection, but I could also remove the seam so someone else can purchase it. She had it cleaned several times to ensure all of the stains were out completely. I never felt that I was paying more than what was reasonable for the amount of work she put into the dress. She did such an amazing job and I couldn't have imagined going to anyone else. Thank you Susanna, you are wonderful.

I got married this past July and had 2 different looks I need Susanna to tailor for me. One of my dresses was intricate a covered in lace, so it required a bit of precision. The other was a skirt. Both pieces needed to be taken in and hemmed. And she also made me a custom sequenced bodice. I can see where the hesitation/frustration can come from with some of her customers. Susanna is eccentric and far from your traditional seamstress.

With that said she makes up for it with talent and fair prices. I recommend you work with her if you are prepared to micromanage her a bit and aren't going to be overly sensitive about her approach. I was so happy with the end result and I paid a fraction of what other shops quoted me at.

Susanna is an artist. She is a wonderful woman with a passion for people and more importantly - for helping to make them feel as beautiful and well dressed as possible. Every single piece is worked on by Susanna herself. She takes the time to give each client individualized attention, listens to their particular needs (re: look/fit), measures, alters, and addresses every customer and piece of clothing herself - which is extremely uncommon.

She is a one woman show, and going into her shop will prove just that. This is not your typical quick job alteration place - she has no team or set systems in place, but has her own rhythm and way of working that is eccentric and old fashioned. She knows her way around garments of all kinds - from pants and shirts, to gowns and slip dresses. Her shop is FULL to the brim with gorgeous pieces - many of which she has made herself.

I once brought her a bag of spandex and an idea, and she made my vision a reality. She can probably create just about anything as long as she understands your vision. My most recent job has been a funky Marc Jacobs Collection gown. I absolutely loved it right off the hanger, but loved it more when Susanna and I decided to open up the front V to a deeper plunge and pinch in the A line a bit to make it even more form fitting.

She added cups so I didn't have to bother with a bra (thank god). The results are just perfection. My personal experience has always been superb - from the individualized attention that I have received, to the quality of her work, and her response time to my (occasional) urgent needs! If you have a wardrobe emergency, she can quickly address it for you.

She really does care about her customers and does her absolute best to deliver excellent work, despite being one person who is constantly busy. Stay on top of her and you won't be disappointed! I can't recommend Susanna highly enough. Se is truly the best!

Susanna's small business is not your typical super organized establishment. She works on her own and does everything by herself. If you can get past that thought, you will understand why she does things a certain way. I had two wedding dresses and a gown touched up by her. The times she worked was unorthodox, her habits a little out there. But she did a beautiful job.

She made sure to address every one of my issues. I just called her a few times to remind her about my dresses. As long as you are on top of your stuff, she will do just fine!
