Flowers By Diane

Always used Flowers by Diane for many years as a neighborhood resident. I was so disappointed to find the store permanent closed when I went by to order a Mothers Day arrangement. I hope she retired and is enjoying life- it was always busy so I hope it closed under good circumstances.

I ordered flowers for an event from Diane recently and was terribly disappointed. This was a birthday party for my spouse that was in a nice restaurant. Despite sending Diane pictures of what I wanted, the decor of the restaurant and specifically naming the flowers, the flowers were delicate, insipid and pale and more fitting for a bridal shower than a man's birthday party in an Indian restaurant - which really made me think that these were "leftover" flowers from a bridal event.

We said no pink, but there was pink all over my arrangement - hot pink and greens would have been okay, these were pastels - whites and pinks. I have provided this feedback directly but there is no resolution from the business. What stood out was the lack of honesty in the response - Diane included flowers in the arrangement like snapdragons and calla lilies that we had not discussed and I did not want.

I asked for hydrangeas, green mums and green berries. I have bought flowers from Diane before when she had a store in Hoboken but this time felt that she didn't listen to me at all and has provided no resolution.

Absolutely fantastic! I live in Virginia with a best friend in Hoboken. I wanted to celebrate with her and Diane made it possible. Diane spent a week looking for Peonies at the market. Even though they are out of season, she found them! Her wonderful customer service made this experience easy and enjoyable. Called her as I was walking in Hoboken. She asked what I was looking for, & how much I was looking to spend. She was very accommodating and had it ready within 10 minutes of the call. Beautiful flowers, amazing service. I highly recommend

Diane provided the table flowers for my daughters baby shower and they were spectacular. Even though this wasn't a huge order, Diane took so much interest in our theme, our colors, designing our flowers using my daughter's favorite sunflowers as the starting point. She was responsive, enthusiastic, incredibly artistic and a pleasure to work with. You'll be lucky to work with her.

I had a wonderful experience working with Diane for our wedding day! Flowers were delivered on time and were absolutely beautiful. Diane was professional and a pleasure to work with. Very glad we chose her as our florist.

Amazing customer service and delivery. Needed same day delivery for my mother's 85th birthday amidst the craziness of covid. Arrangement was beautiful planter and prompt delivery. Did not disappoint and put a smile on her face! I will definitely use them again.

Usually really love the flowers from here. My husband spent $75 on Valentine's flowers and they literally delivered an entire hydrangea bush and branches of eucalyptus wrapped up. Who in god's name has a vase that can fit this thing! I'm disappointed, I'm not sure what my husband asked for but even if he said hydrangeas and eucalyptus why wouldn't you make it a smaller bouquet?!

Something to note- these photos are after I had to separate it and take it apart into THREE separate photos because it knocked over every vase I own/doesn't fit into any of them

I ordered a corsage for my Mom's 70th birthday tonight. I requested it to be pink and white and I was told no problem. Today when I picked it up it was all white, with maybe what appeared to be one blush tone flower. Cynthia who was working was super sweet and offered to add some hot pink baby roses if I would wait. I had about 30 mins to spare before a hair appt so it was fine.

She remade the corsage for me and from what I could see in the store it looked great. I paid $25 plus tax and was on my way. Once I got to the salon where it was bright I realized that one of the larger roses was brown and just about dead. See photos. I did not have time to go back so I had to pull out the dead flower. I would have been so embarrassed to give that my my mom! 2nd photo attached. It's an ok corsage, nothing special. Cynthia was very nice, I just wish that the dead flower would have been taken out.

Diane is AWESOME. Our flowers for our wedding could not have been more perfect. We highly recommend Flowers By Diane.

Just had centerpieces made by Diane for a bridal shower and they were absolutely perfect. When we ordered them and explained what we wanted, it was as if she could read our minds as to the colors and flowers we desired. When they were delivered, we were amazed at how they looked and were arranged. Gorgeous! Thanks Diane for such beautiful arrangements that truly enhanced our party atmosphere!

Diane did a fabulous job designing a wedding bouquet and a matching lapel. The flowers were beautiful and the price is reasonable. She was very helpful in talking me through different options and working flexibly to accommodate my schedule. Would recommend!

I had such a lovely and personalized experience ordering my bridal bouquet. I initially reached out on their website, and Diane herself wrote me back right away! As a longtime Hoboken resident, I felt like I was speaking with a celebrity : I stopped in the store and Cynthia helped talk me through some options and ideas. The bouquet was delivered on time and Diane texted me when it was on its way and afterward to make sure I liked it. I LOVED IT! Exactly what I envisioned. Diane was so kind in wishing me congratulations in the days following.

I was referred to this shop by Amanda's Restaurant for my baby shower and I cannot rave enough about how positive my experience was with Flowers by Diane! I had a very simple shower with flower centerpieces and a balloon wall. I showed a picture of the arrangement look I wanted and they were able to recreate it within budget using flowers in season. Diane and her team were extremely kind and helpful and treated me better than my wedding florists (and we spent a ton of money on that! Yuck!). Everything came out beautiful! I would definitely recommend this shop for any event without hesitation!

Diane, I want to thank you & your staff for the beautiful floral arrangements. Even on a tight budget like I had, the flowers were perfect for the center table & gift table! Your floral arrangements added beauty/colors & made my Mom's 80th bday celebration extra special at Liberty House. Big thanks for the coral gerbera daisy it was perfect on top of the cake.

My poor boyfriend has been wasting his money on Dianne's flowers for over two years now. Out of about at least 8 different arrangements I would say maybe 50% of the time they last more than a day or two. Because flowers are usually for an occasion or nice gesture, I try my best to make them last as long as possible. I felt the need to write a review after getting the last arrangement for our anniversary.

The shop called him to replace a specific flower in an arrangement he selected and Diane's decided to put in sunflowers that were literally half dead. They did call for consent however to me it seems like they just try to get rid of bad flowers and shove them into random bouquets. Not to mention this is not the first time they had to "replace" flowers that are on the brink of death. To make it clear, the whole bouquet of flowers don't die but parts of them do. Extremely disappointed to see another arrangement go bad after only one day.
