Dianes La Patisserie

Charged me $95 for this cake. Emailed her a specific list of instructions and a picture of the cake I wanted. I was very careful with my words in the email where I said "I would like it as is seen in the picture. The colors and even the school the same. The only difference would be the letter at the front to be changed to a "V"." She responded with "Okay".

As you can see by the pictures, not at all like the photo I sent her. The letter itself was done sloppy, as well as the printed out university logo with the cut off "U". She called me saying she can't do the cap exactly the same, having to use chocolate. What she did not explain (conveniently), is that the size would be completely different from what I asked for.

When I called to complain, she said she doesn't do cakes "exactly the same as in the photos". If that's true, why did you agree to my instructions? She said she would send me some PayPal credit ($25) to at least make up for the sloppy work, and I still don't see a pending transaction. The kicker is she asks for payment to be done through PayPal as a "donation".

What does that mean? It means it's NOT under PayPal protection, so even if you complain, you will not get your money back. Great. Lesson learned. And to top it all off, the location did not even look like a bakery. It didn't even have a sign! It was just a piece of paper taped to the window. God forgive me, but looking at her website at her awards, I wouldn't be surprised if it was all photoshopped or if the person who actually won her the awards does not work there anymore. This graduation cake was for my wife finishing her master's and by the grace of GOD, my sister was able to fix it. So yeah, 1/5, never again.

My wife and I got married on June 4th 2022. Our cake from Diane's La Patisserie was phenomenal and a highlight of our night. Not only did we love the cake, we had many great reviews from our guests. The decorations were beautiful! We highly recommend ordering here because Diane made it super easy to have an amazing cake. Thank you Diane!

My husband and I got married on April 9, 2022, and Diane made our wedding cake. We walked in not knowing anything about what we wanted, and Diane took the time to sit down with us to figure it out. She knocked it out of the park! It turned out flawless! Not only was the cake so beautiful, it tasted excellent! The Gluten Free German Chocolate cake was a hit for my Mother-in-Law's birthday. She loved it as did the rest of the family. THE best gluten free cake we've had. Diane was happy to accommodate my last minute request. We're so happy we found her and look forward to ordering again soon.

The vegan cake for my daughter's baby shower was beautiful and delicious! No one could believe it was vegan and raved about how delicious it was. We usually have a lot of cake left over at parties or events but there were was only one or two pieces left and everyone was fighting over them that evening! Diane made my daughter's wedding shower cake as well and that was a big hit also! I would recommend Diane's La Patisserie to everyone not only because of the beautiful and delicious desserts but also because of the friendly and helpful staff!

Diane is such a gem! We met with her at her home office and she was super flexible with working around our schedule. We had already been to a few tastings, and a few more scheduled, but after meeting with Diane and tasting her cakes we immediately made the decision to go with her! The cakes are moist and delicious and she has lots of choices for fillings.

We were also able to choose her French buttercream for the icing, which is slightly less sweet and tasted amazing! Diane made it so easy to customize each layer of cake and filling to be different and have something for everyone. The design and look of the overall cake was perfect and exactly as we envisioned! We dropped off a stand and fresh flowers which she used to decorate our cake.

We couldn't be happier - thank you Diane! (PS - my personal favorite is the lemon pound cake with raspberry filling and French buttercream. Seriously, try this combination - it is amazing!)

I was looking for a cake for my daughter's first birthday that would be delicious and also beautiful. I read about Diane's and thought we'd give it a try. I sent her a photograph that inspired the cake and she did an amazing job matching the theme. I am still obsessed with how great the cake came out! It was also very delicious and we received many compliments on how great it tasted. Diane even gave us a smash cake for our daughter's photo shoot! I will not hesitate to contact Diane for another special cake.

I did finally get a callback days later from the business owner. She called me at 8:30 on Friday night and explained her phone was broken.

We ordered a birthday cake for my son's first birthday. We asked for the cake to match my the crown he would wear for the smash cake. The cake was adorable and delicious! Everyone enjoyed it. The cake itself was tasty and moist. The raspberry buttercream filling was flavored nicely as well.

We ordered from Diane for a birthday cake. Goal was to try somewhere new from our regular place. This was very good and she was amazing in terms of helping coordinate (we called the day before and she was able to support us and everything was easy). We got a chocolate cake with raspberry cream filling which was very good/fresh. I heard that the wedding cakes are even better from others. Give her a try!

Hands down best bakery in the area. During everything that's going on, they stepped up. I asked Diane to make my customer a cake for his birthday and deliver it. No problem at all, and the cake came out amazing! I didn't have the pleasure in trying it. But my customer said it tasted amazing. I did however have the pleasure in seeing pictures and it was more than I could have asked for. Highly recommended, she is an artist, and her rates were beyond reasonable! A must when it comes to baked goods!

Diane's made my daughters wedding cake. It was a specialty cake. We gave her a picture of a traditional three tiered wedding cake with roses on top of a book. The book was to be cake too. The cake was beautiful. Exactly what we wanted and more! AND it was absolutely delicious. Perfect in every way!
