Could use a makeover/upgrade. Nice size hall for a 'larg-ish' gathering.

Food was ok and bartender wasnt very friendly. I wouldn't rate good or bad just mediocre

We had our daughter's sweet 16 party here. There was always great interactions with Cindy. She was so helpful and accommodating. The staff was very pleasant and we had a great time. We will definitely think of them again of we ever have another event.

So I decided to use this location for my mother's 70 th birthday party. There was one waitress serving drinks and food. The owner put the food up after the guest went through once. I paid for the food and I was told my guest would get a final call for seconds. The owner offered to make more plates after I complained how inconvenient. They had to warm the food up in the microwave.

Also they did not want to provide a knife for the cake even though they were supposed to cut it and pass it out to the guest. This was the worst experience of service ever, don't waste your money going here. Not to mention the server did not speak English. SMH.

This place is really nice and clean, the food is okay, they could have used a little seasoning. the staff is friendly however you have to let them know you're still eating or they will take your plate off your table LOL other than that we enjoyed our event

Ordered from this establishment for Christmas Eve dinner chicken was very juicy and tasty. They're meat mostaccioli was delicious the salad was fresh. I have no complaints everything was done professionally with the courtesy call that my order was available for pickup. Establishment was very clean and nice. I would recommend them and I will be back having my food prepared by them again. What can I say it was all first class service.

The banquet room was decorated very nicely, service was good, could have prob used one more person considering we were there with 6 football teams parents and coaches. The food was mediocre and the sound system did not work. But it was a very nice evening.

The bathrooms were nasty, they put us out before our event ended, the lady lied and said our linen was included so we had to pay extra for the white chair covers and ran out of food when we paid for 150 guest. (Where is my refund for the people who didn't eat). They closed the bar at 10. They stopped serving my guest at 750pm. I did mention the bathrooms were disgusting. Don't waste your time or money and the food wasn't good either.

This is a spacious Hall, could use a renovation but for the most part it's best and clean. I guess that's to keep the prices affordable for people. Large enough for wedding area, dining and dancing. I don't know about the food. Great location on gratiot, large parking lot

The owner and staff were extremely helpful during the planning and execution phase of our 100th birthday event for my mother. We were given ample time for custom decorations and preparations and they also was very accommodating during the event. This allowed us to achieve a beautiful and highly successful affair. I give them five stars all the way.

Not worth it! I'm so disappointed! First the place is falling apart. the pavement has big holes, inside the rooms it smells like old carpet! My son had his wedding reception there this past Saturday sep 16 and they didn't even do the champagne toast because the servers didn't bring out the glasses and champagne even though it was part of the contract!

They never took the cake inside to cut! To make everything worse they cut the TOP of cake into pieces to serve instead of taking it away to give to the newlyweds for their 1st anniversary They cut the cake right there and left the plates on the cake table for ppl to go get it themselves! The pieces were so big even my 7 yr old said the cake was cut "funny"!

The food was Tasteless! I asked the owner for a few to go boxes so some ppl could take a piece of cake home and he insisted that I pay him! I gave him 10 bucks for like 10 to go boxes! Very petty after all the money we paid for the hall!

My wife had her graduation party on December 14, 2013 here. We only had about 50 people invited. I'm guessing the small amount of people we had translated to the poor service we received. Food came out and was served, then hauled back to the kitchen before anyone could go back up for more. I asked about why, and I was rudely told by some little girl that the manager does it that way.

I then asked if coffee would be served. I received one carafe for 50 people. Really? I brought a cake to the hall. I asked for a knife to cut it. After 20 minutes of waiting for one to be brought out, I walked into the kitchen to get one. The same rude little girl yelled at me that she was heading out with it as she handed me the knife. This place is a joke and I recommend using a different hall if you're looking for one.

I had my bridal shower at Athena Hall on August 1, 2011. I loved everything about it! First of all, the owners let my husband and I get our Engagement pictures taken in the facility on a separate day than the shower because we loved the atmosphere so much! They let us do this free of charge. They just said they'd let us and our photographer in whenever we wanted to come.

The food was amazing! Everyone kept going on and on to me about the chicken and how amazing it was! (I am a vegetarian, but I wanted meat entrees for my guests.) The pricing was incredibly reasonable! Much better than DeCarlos, and several other places we checked. We had less guests than expected show up, and they charged us for 50 instead of our expected 60, because only about 50 showed up.

The staff was extremely friendly! Everyone had smiles on their faces. Also, we were not rushed out. I ran over a little bit because I was opening gifts slowly (savoring every moment, of course) and they just said no problem. I got married September 10, 2011 in Saint Clair, and had the reception in Marine City. I WISH I would have had it here instead!

The food was good for our event however we had trouble getting refills on drinks, water and pop.
