Rev. Scott Awbrey, Wedding Ceremonies

We hired Rev. Scott as the officiant for our wedding and could not be happier with that decision! He was professional, caring, and kept in constant communication with us. He created a beautiful ceremony that was personalized to our story. It was everything we hoped for and more. Thank you Rev. Scott for making our ceremony so special!

Rev Scott was our favorite part of our wedding. We planned our Denver wedding from New Zealand, and he was exactly what we were needing. He took the time to Skype with us and answer all of our questions beforehand. Then he made our wedding day so easy, coordinating with our other vendors so we didn't have to worry about anything. Our ceremony was absolutely perfect - all thanks to him.

He personalized it to us, while also including religious elements and wonderful touches of comedy. Our families are still talking about how lovely it was. We cannot recommend him enough.

My husband and I really struggled with figuring out how to do the ceremony part of getting married. Should we get a friend or family member? Marry ourselves? Luckily, on our search, we came across Rev Scott. From our first FaceTime call, we knew that he was the person we wanted to marry us! Scott is warm and funny and kind, and really put us at ease!

He took the time to get to know us as a couple, and make sure that all of the family traditions that were important to us were part of our ceremony. He made us feel so calm the day of our wedding and made the ceremony very special, it wasn't too long or too short, but just right. It was personalized, traditional, and funny, a perfect mix that fit us as a couple perfectly.

There were some lovely aspects that involved our friends and family that really touched us (and made us laugh!). Scott was such a wonderful addition to our wedding, we highly recommend him!

The ceremony was outstanding and our guests felt it was touching, romantic and meaningful. But working with Scott was very stressful because he did not prepare for our ceremony until the morning of the event. We tried to get in touch with him weeks ahead of time to go through everything. We had spent many hours answering all of his questions in writing and preparing for our wedding.

During the pre-event call it was obvious he hadn't read our material--which was literally over 5 pages of our love story. He told one person in our wedding party that he'd never had so much material written for him! The morning of our wedding, he kept butting in while we were getting ready to ask me and my husband clarifying questions and we were already so stressed. Scott added to our stress that day and seemed oblivious to that fact. Furthermore, there was a snow storm the night before and morning of the wedding.

We offered to put Scott up in a hotel. He never even thanked us for the accommodations. We thought he came off as pretty inconsiderate and ungrateful. That he advertises that he does pre-marital counseling is also misleading. When we asked him for guidance, he referred us to a friend of his.

Reverend Scott did an amazing job on my wedding ceremony. He did a great job of balancing religion and humor. My husband is a class clown so it was very fitting. Even my parents who are very religious were impressed by the ceremony he gave.

I cannot tell you how many guests approached me after my wedding to tell me how special our ceremony was, and my husband and I couldn't agree more! Rev. Scott went above and beyond to make sure our wedding had the spiritual elements that we wanted while also maintaining our humorous, fun-loving side. In addition to the ceremony itself, Rev. Scott was also my go-to for information about obtaining our marriage license and changing my name. We were so lucky to have him as our wedding officiant, and I highly recommend him!

Reverend Scott Awbrey did a wonderful job officiating our wedding. He did a great job of listening to what we had in mind, and personalizing our ceremony. He made the ceremony easy for us by guiding us every step of the way. We loved the light humor that he incorporated into the ceremony. He made our ceremony very special and we received so many compliments from our guests about what a wonderful job our Reverend had done.

Rev. Scott Awbrey did a tremendous job for us. He took on the ceremony with short notice, and far exceeded our expectations. He followed our requests with every detail, and we received numerous compliments throughout the ceremony on what a great job he did. We had considered going with someone a little cheaper from thumbtack initially (money is so tight around wedding time), but we are so happy that we didn't. It is a very minor expense in the grand scheme of things, and the wedding ceremony is one thing you don't want to skimp on. Again, Highly recommend!
