My husband and I got married at The Barn at Silverstone on May 13 and had Serock Catering as the venue's exclusive caterer. First and foremost, the food was absolutely phenomenal. When we went for our tasting, we both agreed that what we had was certainly not "wedding food". Kristy, our day-of coordinator and contact for the tasting, was able to accommodate my picky vegetarian husband and also make sure that I had plenty of delicious meat options to choose from.

Although side note to all the meat eaters out there, the butternut squash lasagna is so, so good. We had meat eaters pick it, and they were not disappointed. After attending weddings where the vegetarian option is pretty much an afterthought, my husband was VERY happy to have something he was excited to eat. We had quite a few guests with varying dietary restrictions and Serock was able to accommodate everything - including adding two vegan meals!

We heard from so many people during the wedding and after how great the food was. Obviously I'm biased, but it was truly the best wedding meal - and possibly one of the best meals I've ever had. Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, the dessert. We selected the warm bread pudding and ice cream bar. If you're getting married, this is the dessert to choose.

It was literally the best thing ever! We added cookies and brownies too and it was so much fun for our guests. I was so glad The Barn at Siverstone took out all the guesswork and set us up with such a wonderful and professional caterer.

I can not say enough good about Jon, Rachel and the entire staff at John Serock. My daughter just got married on our farm, and we hired John Serock Catering for that event. They were amazing! I didn't realize all the benefits of hiring a full service caterer, but now I'm spoiled and can't imagine doing it any other way. Rachel was so helpful throughout the entire process, then the staff blew us away the day of.

They were waiting for us after the ceremony, with trays of drinks and hors d'oeuvres for the entire bridal party so we didn't miss-out on the cocktail hour food while doing pictures. One server was assigned to my daughter and her husband and she served them seamlessly all day long. The food was delicious, the service.top notch! Totally professional and I would hire them again without hesitation.

Wonderful experience! We had them cater our wedding at the Barn at Silverstone and it was amazing! Kristy was our coordinator and she and her staff were fantastic! She answered all my questions, help me make changes and even gave me a tipping chart for ALL types of vendors. The food was absolutely perfect. We had a ton of compliments from our guests and a lot of them even said it was the best wedding food they ever had!

You definitely get a lot for your money here as well. It is all inclusive and no hidden fees or up charges for things like linens or wait staff. We, as the bride and groom even had attendants to bring us food and drinks through the day, photo hour, and even the reception. I NEVER needed anything. Caitlin (Sorry if this is the wrong spelling) was our server and was an MVP! THANK YOU ALL FOR SUCH A GREAT JOB AND MAGICAL EVENING! It couldn't have been more perfect.

As a hospitality professional and former Chef, we wanted only the best food & service for our daughter's wedding of 185 guests and John Serock Catering certainly delivered. From initial consultation to menu / agenda development to the day of, it was 100% first-class! Great attentive service, tasty food that was cooked to perfection, plenty of bartenders to keep the drinks flowing, Serock & his team exceeded our family and friends' expectations!

Special requests for allergies and all personal details were handled seamlessly and all communications throughout the process were timely and concise. If we could give MORE than FIVE STARS, we would! John Serock.top notch all the way.

What can I say about Serock Catering. just do it! When my husband proposed last December, one of my colleagues immediately recommended John Serock. He catered her wedding a few months prior and she had nothing but great things to say. When I found out Serock was the exclusive caterer for Loch Aerie Mansion (my dream venue), I felt like the stars were aligning.

If I could give John and his team more than 5 stars, I would. I know. when I hear people say that I often wonder if they're exaggerating. Let me tell you, this is NOT an exaggeration. John, Kiley and the entire Serock team were AMAZING. There was not a detail missed! Everyone raved about their meals. We are still talking about how incredible the food was.

They also packed up the leftovers, so we got to enjoy them afterwards. My husband and I didn't get a chance to try all the appetizers or cannoli bar, so we were pretty psyched to try everything the next day. It was such a nice treat! I also have to say the way everything was presented, from start to end, was perfect. I could go on and on about the food, but I need to mention the people behind the food as well. John was a pleasure to work with.

He was easy to talk to, extremely responsive to emails, enthusiastic and provided a sense of calm throughout the entire planning process. Kiley, our day of coordinator, was so sweet and super helpful, not just the day of the wedding, but in the weeks leading up to it as well. She did a fantastic job making sure everything ran smoothly and went as planned.

All the servers and bartenders were also top notch. Thank you John, Kiley and the entire Serock team for a fabulous day. We didn't worry about a thing because you guys had it covered. We are so happy that you were a part of our magical day. You are an incredible team!

Rachael is an absolute angel. She single handedly made my wedding run smoothly. She is incredibly professional and good at her job. Everyone could not stop talking about how good the food was, and usually wedding food is okay at best. I was so appreciative of their attention to dietary restrictions. Couldn't recommend this caterer more!

We could not recommend John Serock and his team enough! My husband and I were married at Loch Aerie Mansion on September 5, 2021. John served as both the head caterer and event coordinator. After multiple years of planning and rescheduling due to COVID, we were finally able to have our dream wedding. John and his team made the day run effortlessly.

We were supposed to have an outdoor ceremony and it rained at the last minute. We decided to move the ceremony indoors and the transition to an indoor ceremony was seamless! John made the planning process fun and personalized. My husband and I come from multicultural backgrounds and the food at our wedding was phenomenal (traditional American and Indian stations). John personally made sure at our reception that my husband and I were able to try all of the food and we were never hungry!

All of our guests raved about the food, service, attention to detail, and caring nature of the entire team. We will continue to use John Serock for future events and highly recommend his team!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Serock. Kristy was our coordinator and she is THE BEST. She made every part of the planning process a breeze from start to finish. They have a HUGE menu of choices and add ons. We did not have one thing we did not thoroughly enjoy from apps to dessert. Everyone raved at our wedding about how amazing the food was- even to say they have never seen so many cleared plates. The servers and bartenders were also amazing and attentive all night. Serock does not disappoint!

The best decision I made during the wedding planning process, maybe in my entire life, was to hire John Serock catering. I knew we were in good hands when one of my other vendors told us they call him the wedding guru lo. He TOTALLY lived up to the name. Not only was the food delicious at the tasting as well as night-of (seriously people were raving during, and I've gotten multiple texts and emails asking for our caterer's name in the days following), but John was the epitome of patience and professionalism throughout the 3+ years it took us to actually walk down the aisle. (My first email to John was 8/2/18 and due to Covid, our ACTUAL wedding date was 8/7/21 lol). John himself is extremely knowledgeable about all things wedding, as well as all types of bar and cuisine concerns and his staff were just LOVELY through and through. Do yourself a favor and hire John Serock Catering for your wedding or big event.

I cannot speak highly enough of the John Serock Catering team. Kristy was our designated day of coordinator, and she took care of every detail and every question we inquired about from our initial interest request down to saying goodnight on wedding night. Our guests RAVED about all aspects of the night from pre-ceremony drinks to dessert, and we had SO many people ask if we had any leftovers to take home because they wished they were able to try all three entree options. Jessie took care of us, as the bride and groom, throughout our entire wedding night, and she made sure we were happy and hand a drink in hand! We are so thankful for the entire staff's professionalism and fun-loving attitude! They were great to work with and matched the energy and atmosphere so easily!

John Serock Catering is the finest, most professional, honest, delicious, creative catering service by all standards. They are 5 stars only because I wasn't able to give them 10 stars.

I recently organized a reunion dinner for 25 "mom's " from our children's grade school. We used John Serock to cater the event. The delivery person (Jared) arrived on time and took care of all the set up/prep. He was very professional. The food was delicious, plentiful and reasonable. There was so much left over that almost everyone took some home. We will definitely use them again.

Once we went to our tasting and tried the food and met Kristy, we knew that John Serock was going to be our caterer. First - the food was absolutely amazing. From the pasta with shrimp and scallops to the short ribs and cauliflower mash - everyone raved about the food. The cheese and charcuterie board at cocktail hour was also a hit with all of our wedding guests.

I didn't get to each much of it, but Kristy placed a small plate of cheese at our sweet heart table for me since she knew my love of cheese! Which leads me to Kristy - absolutely amazing! I am the bride who asks way too many questions and Kristy answered every single one of them without hesitation. She was super helpful when I asked for suggestions.

On the wedding night, she was there every step of the way making sure we were eating, drinking, having fun, etc. She was truly great to work with and we knew we were in good hands from the moment we met her. Also, the wait staff were very professional and really nice and fun. We are so happy with our choice of John Serock Catering. We would recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding caterer with good food and really great employees.

Excellent! From the planning, to the party, to the follow up after to make sure I was happy. We had a birthday party for 35 catered at our home with passed appetizers, short plates, and some appetizers set out. Everything was delicious, my guests raved about the food, and the chef, servers and bartender were all so nice and attentive. They worked really hard to make sure it was a great event.

I would definitely use John Serock in the future, and have passed the contact info onto two people who had been at the party. If the attitude of those you work with matters to you, this is a first class group.

My husband and I were lucky enough to work with such fantastic vendors for our wedding! Among the standouts, John Serock Catering. We were married at The Washington at Historic Yellow Springs and once the venue had been decided upon, we went to work working through the list of preferred caters. For many, a standard form email was sent back - totally understandable but not the kind of experience we were hoping to have.

And then, came Cassidy's email. WOW. I received the most genuine and personal email from Cassidy. Not only was she wonderful, professional and quick to respond - she had gotten married at The Washington, used Serock Catering and loved them so much, she now worked for them. Match made in heaven! The food was phenomenal. Our guests still rave about it.

More than the food, was the service. We have heard no shortage of praise for the wonderful and attentive servers. From the lovely woman that followed my husband and I around a field during our pictures with hors d'oeurves and drinks, to the attentive servers who cleared the tables quickly and efficiently and ensured our guest were tended to and never in need of anything.

We cannot sing their praises enough. One of the best parts of working with them? Getting to know and staying in touch with Cassidy. She is a dream. She will make your day her priority even though you will be just one of many on her very filled plate. It was everything my husband and I had been hoping to find. Thank you guys for making our day perfection!

Great food! On time preparation and exceptionally organized. If you have ANY event that needs food catered you can't beat Serock Catering for the price, quality, and 1 of a kind service! We used them to get food for our U16 AAA hockey team and it was a perfect package! I would highly recommend them and will use them again given the chance.

This review is for the catering aspect of John Serock Catering. I couldn't be happier with the job John did catering our wedding. The event was over three years ago (I did a Wedding Wire review but forgot about a yelp one :) and people still tell me how amazing the good was. John was friendly, helpful and stayed true to his promise -"I will be the first person there that day and I will be the last person you see at night." That was actually true.

He literally walked us to our limo with leftover wedding food for us to have at our hotel. John catered a family style Italian dining experience for our guests and made everything very easy- especially because the venue did not tables, linens, etc. and John took care of all of that. John truly cares about his clients and does an excellent job! Highly recommend!

Best kept lunch secret in Malvern. About eight sandwiches to choose from on the menu. I've had the Italian with long hots, chicken with broccoli rabe and an absolutely delicious meatball sandwich. You don't get meatballs unless Mom makes them, but it's ok to do that here.

Awesome Italian Hoagies! Tastes just like South Philly. Go for the Hot Italian, the long hots are great.

Amazing sandwiches that have become the hit at our office. Loved the Chicken with Broccoli Rabe, Red Peppers and Provolone that I got today. The name is a little deceiving - this is not a cooking school, but a gourmet deli/caterer/take-out spot where you can order homemade food by the pound or tray, including desserts, entrees, sides, salads; or you can order a gourmet sandwich and eat in their small dining room. All the food they had out on display looked great (chicken dishes, pastas, etc.) - and I'll definitely be adding this into the mix for my regular lunch rotation!
