I could not have asked for a better experience at Crystal Bride! Victoria and all the other lovely ladies were amazing! Not only did she ask my favorite styles and picked out a handful of dresses prior to us arriving, Victoria also allowed us to take a look around to grab any other dresses I wanted to try on! She was so sweet and really listened to what I wanted and needed in my wedding dress! I'm so happy that I found my dress here and can not wait to wear it on our big day!

The Crystal Bride and their staff was so incredible. Irene helped me during my bridal appointment and was so patient as I couldn't decide between two dresses and had to try each of them on about 20 times. She helped me pick a beautiful and simple veil that would highlight the gorgeous train of my dress. My mom also got her mother of the bride dress and she was stunning!

The seamstresses here are just as incredible! They were always prepared for my appointments and my alterations were minimal! The Crystal bride has such a fun and upbeat environment. Every single service was easy and professional. I never had any stresses when it came to my dress -- my dress came in early and the alterations were so easy. Thank you all so much

We are so happy we went to The Crystal Bride. They have an extensive selection of bridal gowns and mother of the bride dresses. We had Irene as a consultant. She was amazing! She took the time to ask questions to find out what type of dress my daughter was looking for and helped her find the perfect bridal gown for her wedding! What a great experience! I highly recommend them.

They were very friendly at first- on the day of my appt I had found the dress at a different place and wanted to call to let them know. After telling me I should come anyways to find a better dress (who says this?) or have the place that I found my dress pay for the cancellation fee, they became very rude on the phone.

I had the BEST experience at Crystal Bride! Irene was my consultant and was fabulous, I felt like she knew my style better than I did. From the initial introduction, to showing up and seeing what dresses she pulled, to saying YES and buying my dress here - everything was perfect. Smooth, professional, personable, and at a reasonable price. My dress looks like a $5000 designer dress, at half the cost. Absolutely recommend!

Kristin was amazing! I absolutely loved every dress she put me in, and she was super helpful in assisting me to narrow down my options! She was also very honest and transparent about each dress. I found a dress I liked at another shop, and crystal bride had the same exact dress for $200 cheaper! I didn't feel like I was treated like a number or like I was being pressured to make a decision like I was at the other shop. Kristin wasn't pushy in the slightest and made sure I was comfortable with my decision! Overall great experience and I would definitely recommend the crystal bride!

Absolutely loved my shopping experience at the Crystal Bride! Kristin was amazing and really listened to what I was looking for. I don't think I could've found my dream dress without her. She was very knowledgeable of their inventory and was able to give suggestions based on dresses I liked previously and what I would look best in. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by friendly staff. I was so nervous walking in because this was my first time dress shopping. I was afraid to not feel anything when I tried on dresses and was unsure how I would know that it was "the one". I worked with Kristin and I honestly can't say enough good things about her. She listened to EACH and EVERY thing that I liked/disliked about the dresses I was trying on.

She made sure to acknowledge the opinions of the others in my group but ultimately still made sure that I was the one being heard. She disappeared in the racks and came back with the most perfect dress. It had EVERYTHING that I had liked about each of the dresses I had tried on previously but this time combined into this one dress. She was so excited to show this dress to me.

We got into the fitting room to try it on, and sure enough.it was "the one". I came out and showed my group and they all agreed that this was my dress. I even got a little teary eyed. It's easy to tell how much Kristin enjoys what she does. She is such a professional and has great knowledge of what dresses are in the store. She is so bubbly and I couldn't have asked for a better experience at The Crystal Bride!

I recently just bought my wedding dress from Crystal Bride. I worked with Kristin during my appointment. She went above and beyond to pull dresses even before I arrived. She was professional and extremely personable. She continued to pull dresses throughout my visit that fit the style that I was going for and had the elements that I enjoyed as I tried things on.

She made me feel extremely comfortable and confident throughout the entire experience. She also made sure my guests were comfortable and involved throughout the appointment. Nothing but wonderful things to say about Kristin and Crystal Bride! Highly recommend!

Crystal Bride was amazing and Kristin was honestly the best person to help me find a dress. I showed her what I was envisioning for my wedding and she nailed it on the first dress. Even knowing the first dress was it, Kristin was so patient with me and helpful letting me try on other dresses just so that I could be comfortable with my decision. I'm so happy with my decision. I had a wonderful experience shopping with The Crystal Bride for my wedding dress! First off, the entire process was extremely organized, from the appointment booking process to the registration survey. The shop itself is lovely and conveniently located for me as a resident of the Western Suburbs. The star of my experience was Mckenna, though-she was attentive, thoughtful, and genuine, and she really made me feel comfortable and beautiful when I was trying on dresses.

She did an excellent job of communicating every detail and listening to my opinions, and I walked out of my appointment with the dress of my dreams. I'm having an October micro-wedding, and I am SO glad I decided to shop through a bridal boutique rather than buying off the rack from a department store-it was truly eye-opening to try on all of the different silhouettes, fabrics, and necklines (and to work with an expert trained in these gown options!) Overall, I would highly recommend this bridal boutique and cannot WAIT to get married in my dress from The Crystal Bride.

I found my dress at Crystal Bride with the help and encouragement of the wonderful Irene! She brought 3 options based off the styles I pinned on Pinterest, had a specific order to help me decide and ultimately found one of the exact dresses from my Pinterest in store (which is the dress I went home with too!). I HATE trying on clothes and was so stressed about how the day would go but Irene made me feel beautiful and allowed me to take the time I needed to feel good about the decision.

After purchasing my dress, I also got it altered by Amparo who was equally wonderful to work with. She made me feel good in my skin even when I didn't hit my ideal weight goal before wedding time. I loved every moment if my experience as a Crystal Bride and would recommend this experience for any bride-to-be!

I seriously cannot recommend the Crystal Bride enough. I'm from out of state and am temporarily living in the area until December. I knew I needed to get a dress and didn't want to wait. This business was recommended by one of my local friends, and after trying 4 other bridal shops in the area they can't even compare to this place! From before my appointment even started they had me fill out a questionnaire with what styles I liked and my budget. Mckenna, was the girl who helped me out and SHE WAS AWESOME.

She was so personable and professional and really knew what she was doing. I am completely obsessed with my dress and am even happier because it was $800 under my max budget!

Loved this place! After yet another disappointing appointment at another shop (I've tried on probably 50 dresses at this point) I saw that this shop was only half an hour away and decided to stop in. I didn't have an appointment, but the owner, Nancy, was more than accommodating. She pulled a bunch of dresses for me and I FINALLY found my dress! Nancy was very kind and listened to what I do and don't like and was very helpful. I would highly recommend shopping here!

I was ready to search for my perfect gown for my upcoming wedding. I have heard time and time again about The Crystal Bride and knew that I wanted to go. And I am so glad that I did! I worked with Kristin who was the absolute best. I can not say enough good things about her. She made me feel comfortable, listened to what I was saying and made the experience unforgettable! I wish I could give them 10 stars. From booking the appointment to the day of the actual dress finding appointment, they have been so helpful during this process. I feel like their team took a personal interest in my story and genuinely wanted to help me find the perfect dress. I had Kristin as my consultant and she is AMAZING! so friendly, listened to my critiques of the dresses, she never once made me feel rushed or uncomfortable. To say my bridal experience was wonderful would be an understatement. Crystal Bride made my wedding dress dreams come true! The salon is located in the heart of downtown Geneva, and from the moment I walked in, I felt right at home. I was welcomed by the staff and told Kristin would be my consultant. Kristin, from the very start, was attentive and so sweet!

She took the time to get to know me, and asked really poignant questions."how do you want to feel on your wedding day?" And "what is the esthetic of your venue?" My answers: beautiful, classic, elegant and timeless. Each dress she pulled for me to try on truly aligned with the answers to those questions.it was like magic! After only 3 or 4 dresses, I found THE ONE!

And my tears of joy were also shared by Kristin too. It was so touching to see how genuinely invested she was in my happiness--it made the experience that much better. I love everything about my dress and can't wait to pick it up this July! My mother and I ended up returning several weeks later to help her pick out a Mother-of-the-Bride dress because Crystal Bride has a salon next door for special occasion gowns too! The Crystal Bride, without a doubt, had the best dress inventory I saw. They had a beautiful, high quality selection in all price points to fit anyone's budget. Nancy was very in tune with what I was looking for and brought me several options. It was overall an extremely positive experience and I would recommend to all of my friends and family.

I had such an amazing experience here with Rebecca. I changed my mind on my original dress I bought a year ago, and I had a very good idea of what I wanted. Since she knew I had already tried on tons of dresses, she wasn't pushy and didn't want to waste either of our time. Get your dress here! Once I got engaged, I knew there was only one place to get my dress - Crystal Bride! Both my sisters have had great experiences here so I knew I would. Nancy, the owner, is so kind and welcoming. My consultant, Rebecca, listened to what I wanted and pulled dresses that my fit my vision and budget. I purchased the 2nd dress I tried on. If I am being completely honest, I was DREADING going dress shopping for my wedding. As a plus size bride, I was consistently told that the experience would be a miserable one - no options to try in my size, limited selections, etc. I was so certain I wouldn't have any luck that I scheduled four appointments at various salons for this weekend (while my Mom was in town to attend with me.) I am thrilled to say that not only did I find the dress of my dreams at my very first appointment, but it was only the fourth dress I tried on (three of which were samples that fit me perfectly, without bungee ties, chords, or clips!) Kayla was my consultant and I liked her from the very moment she greeted me.

She was kind, welcoming, understanding, and truly listened to all of my feedback and requests. I genuinely enjoyed my experience at The Crystal Bride and I am so thankful to them for helping me find the dress of my dreams. Amazing service, outstanding selection (in ALL sizes), and wonderful consultants. Ask to work with Kayla and you will not regret it!

Went in looking for bridesmaids dresses for my sister wedding but it was clear that the sales lady didn't really care and was more interested in other customers. We did end up ordering our dresses from here but they suggested I express ship them to ensure enough time for any alterations. So I paid the extra $45 to have them at the crystal bride by 3/1 but I still didn't receive the dresses until 15 (3/15) days later and they did not refund me any of it. Poor customer service for how much money was spent here.

I am so happy I made an appointment at Crystal Bride during my trip to the Chicagoland area for wedding dress shopping. Working with McKenna was awesome - she took great care of me and my (large) crew during the process. I came into this appointment completely torn between two styles of dresses but McKenna was kind and understanding throughout and really boosted my confidence in the both styles.

We started the appointment by going through the racks with my group and picking about six dresses for me to start with. As we went on, McKenna made pulls of her own as well to supplement the dresses already in the room. I was in and out of the dresses quickly and efficiently and because I'm not exactly a sample size (they're either too big or too small) and she did a great job either clipping them or providing a panel for a better fit.

In the end, I ended up going a different direction with my dress and not purchasing from Crystal Bride. The had a great selection though and if they had my "dream dress" I wouldn't have hesitated purchasing from McKenna and her crew. Thanks for a lovely shopping experience.we loved it so much that my mom has already been back to shop for a MOB gown in their connected and vast "formalwear" section! P.S. I have an awesome experience with Crystal bride from start to finish. When I called to make my first appointment to try on dresses the lady who answered the phone asked what I was looking for and gave me a recommendation over the phone which ended up being my dress! Rebecca is an absolute pleasure to work with - for every fitting my dress was waiting for me in a fitting room and they were very organized! Mila (spelling?) did my alterations and she can work miracles and made the dress fit me perfectly! I got so many compliments on it and I want to find another reason to wear it again! I would recommend Crystal Bride to anyone!

The Crystal Bride was one of three places where I tried on dresses. This was by far the best experience, and where I ended up purchasing my dream princess dress for my husband and my 20 year vow renewal at Disney World! My consultant was Kayla, and as other reviews have mentioned, she was very nice and patient when I had a difficult time making a final decision.

She was very helpful in knowing which dresses that they carried that were the style I was looking for. She was also not pushy, but encouraged me to pick the dress I really loved instead of settling for one my family might have approved of more. I was also very happy with the dress that was ordered, it really was far more beautiful than the sample dress I had tried on.

The alterations went smoothly as well. The seamstress was able to add beaded fabric to the neckline so it was more modest as I requested, it was very well done and I felt it looked like it was part of the original dress. Since it was a destination vow renewal, I had to pick up the dress the week before. They had the dress beautifully steamed and pressed, and let me know how to keep it fluffy for the ceremony.

All in all a great experience. My dress was so beautiful and perfect for the venue. Believe it or not, I even got a compliment on the dress from a celebrity who was visiting Disney World while I was having pictures taken! Thanks Crystal Bride!

This shop is the kind they warn you about. They pushed a defective dress on me, and then tried to get me to pay money out of my own pocket to fix it. Shopping for the dress was fine, but the trouble started when I came in for my first fitting. The dress was obviously made wrong: lace missing from the bodice, too short (couldn't wear heels, and I'm average height), and the entire top was misshapen.

I tried to bring my concerns up with the staff, and not one person would even look at the dress or make eye contact with me. Two salespeople (who seemed to look over my shoulder) told me all sales were final, and I would have to pay their in-house seamstress to make it right. The seamstress quoted me at $400 to make alterations to fix the defective dress.

I was so upset, crying in the store, and my mom was comforting me, when a salesperson walks up and reminds us that we still $750 on the rest of the dress. How thoughtful. Days later, after multiple phone calls and presenting photographic evidence, they finally agreed to look at the dress instead of just arguing with me--and the tone changed immediately and they offered to order a new dress.

I said I didn't trust them, the saleswoman on the phone laughed, and said, "Well you don't have any other options." After two more phone calls, my money is coming back to me via a check in the mail, because to refund my credit card they'd charge me a 3% service fee. In the end, I never received an explanation, nor an apology. EDIT: Per the shop owner's commentary, I DID EVENTUALLY receive a solution--three days later.

I had to wait three weeks for an apology. My review is going to remain one star, because of the manager's feedback, below. I'm also going to mention that the seamstress blamed my body for the dress not working because I'm "too tall and leggy."
