Beautiful facility overlooking the Missouri River. What a lovely place for weddings, parties, dinners, and other celebrations.

DO NOT book your wedding with this venue. I was the best man at a wedding that was scheduled to take place here, however the COVID-19 pandemic meant that myself and many of the couple's guests were unable to make it. When the couple decided that they potentially wanted to postpone the wedding, they were told that there were no changes or refunds, and that they either had to go ahead with the wedding during the pandemic, or be charged for the full cost anyway.

Thanks to the selfishness and tone-deaf inflexibility of Riverbend, the couple are now facing having to celebrate their wedding without a best man, groomsmen, or certain family members and other close friends. They have demonstrated that their primary concern is their paycheck, and not the happiness, safety, or well being of their customers.

I stood in a wedding with a close friend of mine. The happy couple chose this location. While it was a beautiful place there were 4 logistical problems that truly detracted from the whole experience and I was rather upset at my friend's overall experience. 1. There were several microphone sputtering problems during the ceremony, as if the nerves aren't enough for couple, now you are hearing the microphone cut in and out for your Pastor. 2.

The DJ struggled many times to pronounce various names, including the bride and groom's newly married name. On top of that, the EQ'ing of the sound made it quite difficult to even hear what was being said, I had a hard time knowing when to walk into the reception because I could not understand the DJ. 3. The venue had told us that they were to take care of tearing everything down following the rehearsal, but when the time came we were told that was not the case and that we needed to clean everything up ourselves.

This would have been an acceptable expectation had this been part of the previous agreement, but it was not and to spring this on the bride and groom last minute did not make the night better. 4. This is potentially the worst offense. A room had been reserved for the bride and groom, on their special wedding night only to find out during the reception that in fact this room was not available and that it had been under construction. The couple did not need this added stress, but were forced to find a regular hotel to stay in for their wedding night.

Im thinking of having my wedding there. Beautiful venue with view of Missouri river bluffs. Reception hall is right on the grounds with DJ & dance floor, full catered dinner and indoor chapel if needed. Also handicap accessible for older folks Beautiful grounds and honeymoon house on site if requested. Will accommodate up to 300 guests.

Beautiful venue with a beautiful view from the river. It has the chapel upstairs and the reception room downstairs. There's also the main house where the bride can get ready and you opt between an outdoor ceremony or indoors. A flowing water cascade and luscious greens as background. They also have a lovely swing.

The Venue: It was clean, beautiful, and organized. We were lucky enough to be able to decorate the Thursday before the wedding (rehearsal night) so we didn't have to worry about doing it right before the wedding. When we arrived, the reception area was set up so all we had to do was install our centerpieces and other decorations. It was such a relief to have this out of the way in advance.

We had a few instructions for the wedding coordinator that were graciously accepted and carried through. Our cake and caramel apple bar vendors were welcomed and directed to their location where everything was set and ready to go for the reception. The meal was delicious. We had a small issue with kids meals which was handled quickly and professionally by our wedding coordinator, Tanya.

The Staff helped with the packing of items after the reception with the greatest of care. All our belongings taken from the dressing area were safe and accounted for at the end of the wedding. The Entertainment: The preferred DJ service was excellent. Our DJ worked with us throughout the reception/ceremony to keep us informed of what was happening every step of the way.

He was cordial, professional, and fun. He kept the pace moving throughout the evening. The special up lighting definitely made the reception hall even more spectacular. The music was appropriate and all songs played were directly from the Bride's designated song list. The Bar Service: We opted for a cash bar and it worked out well for our guests. The bartenders were efficient and able to handle the crowd nicely. Photography/Videography: While the photographer/videographer were not from the preferred vendor list, they were welcomed at the venue and found it easy to get the photos and special moments recorded.

When the weather took a turn, they carried on and were able to move the family photo session into the lovely chapel on site. The Ceremony: Tanya (our day of wedding coordinator) worked with the Officiant and the mother of the bride to ensure that bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, sand, memorial chair roses, etc. were distributed to the attendants, parents, and bride/groom.

Our Officiant was escorted around the venue so he could get his 'bearings' which made if effortless for him to perform the ceremony. In spite of some weather issues that arose right before the ceremony, the Riverbend Staff handled the situation quickly and professionally. When the last minute decision was made to still have the ceremony outdoors, the entire team kicked into gear and got the deck set up and looking beautiful minutes before the ceremony started.

I cannot say enough about Tanya and the way she quietly went about her business and met all of our needs as they arose. She was patient, professional, listened, and had a 'calming' effect on the entire event. I just knew she would help us make the event hassle-free and exceptional. I know it's her 'job' as a wedding coordinator to do this, but it really made a difference in the outcome of the event and she did an amazing job of meeting everyone's needs.

Our guests raved about the entire event; the words 'fairy tale wedding' kept coming up. My daughter always wanted a fairy tale wedding and because of your folks at Riverbend her wish really came true. Everyone was cared for like 'family' at the venue. I received all positive comments about the experience (especially, the caramel apple bar - what a treat!). I highly recommend The Vineyards at Riverbend Chapel to any bride looking for a unique location with all the necessary amenities. You will not be disappointed.

Absolutely perfect! Such a beautiful setting and amazing scenery for stunning photos. The staff is friendly and the food was fantastic. The little cabin was an added bonus, you get the feeling of a vintage cottage with all the modern comfort conveniences. Would highly recommend this location to anyone, it's more than worth the drive! My wife and I are so happy we chose The Vineyard at Riverbend Chapel.

My wife and I had our wedding here last year in May. With a view overlooking the Missouri river for miles, the location is arguably one of the most beautiful venues in the state. The theme is country with slight contemporary accents here and there. The outdoor ceremony area features a large deck for guest seating and a vine-covered trellis that perfectly frames the river and sunset.

There is a chapel right next to the outdoor section for indoor ceremonies, which has a similar view, albeit more obscured with trees. The lower floor of the chapel serves as the reception area with seating for over 200 guests. The food options are excellent and affordable. There are plenty of photo opportunities on the grounds; A rope swing hanging from a very old tree, the vineyards, the old farmhouse and cottage, etc.

The staff at Riverbend are extremely friendly and helpful with planning the events as well - They will make sure that everything is to your liking and will go the extra mile to help you with any customizations you may want. There is a tiny, two-story wedding cottage next the farmhouse that has a gas fireplace, jet tub, shower and a queen size bed.

The kitchen is stocked with breakfast food (to cook yourself) - eggs, bacon, OJ, etc. You can even re-book just the cottage on your anniversary (we did!). Overall, a gorgeous place to have your special day and highly recommended!
