Events At The Davenport

They'll easily take your payment and schedule your wedding, but they're very disorganized and greedy when it comes to cancelation and getting your money refunded. Highly don't recommend!

So incredibly disorganized, the Davenport is a beautiful venue but there is next to zero communication. The invoices mean absolutely nothing as half the items we paid for were different or not provided and the price list they give is not current with charges so don't make your budget based on that. I would advise against using the hired helpers as well, the girls were nice but were dressed in workout clothes.during a wedding and are in several of our pictures.

We managed to make the best of everything but it was a huge disappointment as our seated dinner was served on salad plates when we paid for dinner sized plates that were not provided and we were given a cake stand that was way too large for our cake. The strangest part was that unbeknownst to us there were people from Greer party rentals, which they also own, upstairs during the wedding and reception. Nobody mentioned anything about people being there and we found out after the fact when guests told us they saw them during various parts of the day.

Nice rental space good for lots of options for hosting people and parties. Safe and easy to access. Classy vibe. Parking is easy and convenient enough.

I am a local DJ, so I get around to a lot of venues. When I write a review it is always honest and takes other venues into consideration. This venue is right on par with several others in downtown Greeer. It is a simple, yet potentially elegant space for hire. Parking is no better or worse than Randall house. It lacks compared to Spinning Jenny or Cannon Centre.

It could use more bathrooms, but is adequate for the number of people this space holds. Everything else is spot on. Charm, affordability, location, you got it here. Look forward to future events I have booked here.

I was able to DJ here for a wedding a few weeks back. Very clean and has a great appeal to the small venue. Sound carrys well in this building so you do not need huge speakers to produce great sound. Parking was a little hectic due to the art festival going on but was perfect after it ended.

The Davenport makes it happen! We had an excellent experience with Scott and his staff right from the start. They provide lots of options according to your budget, but honestly we knocked our wedding out of the park without spending a lot of money on everything you'd expect at a facility such as The D. The venue itself looks great; it is well-taken care of and can look quite elegant with just a few touches (in fact, it looks pretty solid even "blank"!).

There was plenty of room to operate, move around, dance, and socialize with a wedding of about 75 people, so more than that could also work. The Davenport is also in an excellent location. There are lots of things to do within a mere two blocks, so night-before plans can be taken care of without straying far. The ABBs above The Davenport are also quite excellent.

We loved our stay in The Chicken Coop. Spacious and charming, really. If you're looking for a place that can help you nail it, even on limited funds, this is the place you want.

This spot is an amazing place to accommodate various events. Great lighting decor to give that magic touch and excitement that every atmosphere needs. Love the Dance2Fit classes on Monday's evening from 6:30-8:00 with Kaitlyn. If you are Looking for a great workout with high Energy to shed some pounds- Look no further - Davenport is it! We originally had a rough experience with the Davenport in the early stages of our wedding planning due to communication issues. However, we decided to go through with planning our wedding here and it turned out so great! The rental price is very good compared to other venues in the Greenville area, the exterior decorations of downtown Greer right outside made great photos, and we had plenty of space for our guests inside the venue. I am very pleased with the communication and help we received from the venue owners during the final stages of our event planning. I would definitely recommend!

We took snagging lessons and had a great time! We even signed up for the intermediate class. Lots of good places to eat downtown, too.

The Davenport is a great venue for any event. We had so much fun celebrating my sister's 60th birthday there
