Gesinee's Bridal

Walked in thinking I was only going to get some ideas for my Mother of the Groom dress. But by the end of the day, I said a happy yes to the dress! Really helpful and knowledgeable staff. Clean and organized store. Only reason I didn't give 5 Stars was the dresses are more expensive here, and the dress I chose was a bit above my budget, but I feel great in it.

I drove all the way down to Concord from Santa Rosa (1.5 hrs) and the drive was well worth it! I had been to a few other bridal shops before this and Gesinee's customer service/dress selection is unmatched. My consultant was Amanda and she was very caring, attentive and did everything to make sure I had a great experience. I would highly recommend them to any bride (especially plus sizes since they carry extended sizes).

HUGE shoutout to Katie for being so amazing during my wedding dress shopping experience! I had absolutely no idea what type of wedding dress I wanted, so I had a feeling it would take me a while to make a decision (especially considering how indecisive I usually am). Gesinee's was my first stop, but little did I know it would be my only stop.

As I mentioned above, I literally had no preference as to what type of style, color, lace, sequins, or anything leading up to what dress I would buy. Katie was so patient with me, bringing a myriad of styles for me to try on and fine-tuning my style based of whatever feedback I had for each dress. I appreciated that I never felt rushed during my appointments.

Unfortunately I was dress shopping in the thick of COVID, so there were restrictions as to how many people I could have with me at my appointments. Katie was so gracious to allow me to have a total of 3 appointments so I could showcase my top choices to my bridesmaids and so they could help put my mind at ease about this big decision. Honestly if I hadn't had Katie as my consultant I don't think my experience would have been nearly as magical because she did such an amazing job of listening, reading between the lines to find my style, and offering suggestions without being overbearing.

The few times she had to temporarily step out it just wasn't the same; while the other ladies who helped were nice, I found some to be a bit pushy. Katie was honest with me during my process and I genuinely could tell she wanted me to find the perfect dress for me instead of just trying to upsell me. All in all my experience with Gesinee's was amazing and I would definitely recommend to others!

In my search for the perfect dress, Gesinee's was key! I am not joking when I say EVERY dress that I tried on was amazing and made me feel so beautiful. Thank you to the staff there for helping me find the perfect dress. The alterations had to be done in only a week and they made it a priority to complete in time. On my special day I danced the night away and the dress held up with no tears, rips, or missing buttons. If you're looking for high quality dresses, doable prices, and friendly staff, this is the dress shop for you.

I actually needed to take a few days to gather my thoughts and emotions before I wrote this, and I this was absolutely the WORST experience shopping for my wedding dress, and the sad part is. it was my first experience. I made an appointment about 2 weeks in advance and was told to make a wish list on their website and that they would have everything pulled for me when I get there, they did not have anything that I selected.

My dress consultant (Jackie) was nice overall but I feel that she could benefit from additional customer service and dess etiquette training. Upon my arrival there were no questions about my wedding or sizing, she did ask what styles i liked and I told her plain white and simple elegance. When in the fitting room I was brought a array of dresses. in a size 4, I am a 14-16 minimum! Needless to say the first 4 dresses would not even go over my thighs and my self esteem plummeted.

So on top of the fact that I had that SHARE my appointment with a much larger party and my party was sat off to the side in a dressing room, I got to feel very insecure on what was supposed to be a special day. Apparently there was nothing in the style that I wanted in this shop in my size, and we only figured this out after trying on various dresses that were nowhere near what I was looking for.

The appointment was supposed to be an hour and a half, and we were done and on the road in 45 minutes. After talking with numerous friends that are married, this is not how a dress appointment is supposed to be, so I am leaving this review to hopefully save the next bride from the tears and disappointment that I encountered. I would never recommend this dress shop for bridal and I will never be back.

Only one star since the individual who assisted me in choosing my dress was fantastic, but the rest of the crew was not. I purchased a dress from them in 2020, but I changed my mind, and when I told them, they said they would sell the dress for me and reimburse my money once they received it. I didn't get a call from them for over two years, notifying me that my dress had arrived or anything.

It had slipped my memory, so I called recently, and the woman on the other end of the line was really unpleasant. She seemed annoyed that I asked her to find out what happen with my dress, that is was a problem. She informed me that they decided to donate my dress, because they never gotten a call from me, when they have never called me informing the dress was in.

Now that I'm in college, money is scarce. I'm glad the dress was received to someone who needed it, but I'd need my money returned. Now after I got frustrated with this woman who has being rude towards me, she said they will have their credit line call me. I have yet to receive the call. If the owner sees this, please refund my money and train your employees to provide better customer service. There is no need to get attitude with your customers.

Bought my prom dress here, they read me all there strict terms and conditions told me no refunds or exchanges under any circumstances, I agreed and never complain. Then they proceeded to make sure I put all my information correct (which I did), then they gave me a call saying my prom dress was ready to be picked up. I drove 2 hours! For me only to get there and find out they ordered me the wrong dress!

All they bothered to do is give me an apology and tell me it was a "human error". But what if one of the consumers would've done a "human error" they would've not cared! I am extremely upset they ordered me the wrong prom dress. They demand their consumers perfection but can't give the same back? Now I have to wait another 3 weeks for my dress! Never coming again.

Do not recommend coming here just for them to waste your time, gas and tell you they ordered you the wrong thing. With these gas prices of course I was going to be upset! Their only solution to fix their "human error" was to give me a refund to wash theirs hands if this problem THEY created. Now I have no time even alter my dress. They didn't even bother taking that in consideration. Less they could've done was offer free alterations now that that was my biggest concern.

I am a 76 year old grandmother and I came with my granddaughter and her mother and some cousins for her to try on wedding gowns for her upcoming wedding everyone was very nice the and the person helping my granddaughter was very kind and helpful but I have one thing that bothered me and that is you have no restroom there for ladies to use especially older ladies as myself who have to use the restroom.

Not only did I have to walk across a busy Street but I have to walk down an alley and around the corner to find a restroom. You have a restroom for your employees why in the world would you not have a restroom there and available for people coming in your store to spend their hard-earned money on your merchandise

Very slow service. Stayed for an hour and a half and only tried on 3 dresses. Took 40 minutes to get a fitting room. Also, note that if you're under 18 you need a parent or you can't try on dresses.

Beautiful shop with extremely helpful sales associates. Truly wonderful wedding dress shopping experience. My daughter found her perfect dress.

Customer service is top notch here! I had decided to get married in City Hall in roughly 2-3 months so my bff quickly spurred into action with dress fitting appts. There were several of my close circle (including my bff who brought me and my future sister in law) who had gotten their dress at Gesinee's and I had faith! There were a few consultants who helped me figure out what I wanted (A-line, pockets, not too crazy.) Shoutout to Sara for her fun energy!

She got us pumped and laughing throughout the fitting. A ton of dresses were brought and I kept coming back to the champagne beauty that was pulled off a mannequin upstairs. It was magical - sparkly beaded spaghetti strapped top, flowy champagne satin dress, and best of all pockets! After trying on a few more, I knew this was the one. I placed my order, came back for alterations right in time for the big day.

Love the super skilled alteration ladies (Aunties Irene and Aurora) - I felt like they were family and they made me feel so comfortable. Even if your wedding is short notice, they will work with you to get everything done on time. It's definitely not cheap coming here but I owed it to myself to get my once in a lifetime beautiful dress.

Miss Theresa was awesome. She actually picked the dress we ALL loved the most! Took her time with us. Was VERY patient. Great prices as well

I guess i mustve got a totally different experience. I'm not sure if its because my consultant may be new? I just came from another bridal shop before coming here.and i guess i was spoiled with the service i got from there (flares). My consultant whom i will respectfully not name.she asked me what i liked and a picture of the type of dress i want.

I showed her.and so we go to the back and my friends and I were settled in the dark lol The consultant then tells me to look for a dress from the 1000s of what they have and said my friends can help me. WEIRD. So i had no clue what i was getting or sizes. she went to get a few dresses for me too. now im changing in the dressing room in the dark lol then finally her coworker turns on the light for us.

My consultant then hands me a dress in its garment bag still ( i guess i have to open it up and get the dress ready for me to try on which was a hassle) and it wasnt the size or the type of dress i showed her. So she hands me another and another.im handing the dresses back because they dont even fit or theyre not even what i showed her. I wanted off shoulder fit and flare she gives me spagetti strap dresses or fluffy ballgown dresses.

Mind you i got frustrated lol. and just said IM DONE. i walk out with my clothes on and then i hear her coworker come and say shes here to help her. Her coworker was pretty nice but honestly it was too late. The experience itself was frustrating. We just walked out. I hope the consultant gets more experience.but sadly a sale was wasted.

Gesinees Bridal has the largest and best variety in bridesmaids dresses I've seen in the Bay. We had appointment but arrived early and Hannah assisted us. She was incredibly sweet, knowledgeable and helpful. She was able to help us find dresses that are flattering to our figures and the exact color our bride is looking for. Would HIGHLY recommend this store for bridesmaids dresses!

I cannot express enough gratitude for the gesinee's staff. They truly made the best experience for me and my bridal party. We found not only my dress but my bridesmaid dresses as well! They made every accommodation I asked for come true. Alena could have not been a better match for me and my girls. She is absolutely wonderful. This place is amazing! The staff are so friendly and kind. They really care about you and want to make this moment special for you. The consultant I worked with allowed me to pick some dresses I liked as well as tried on the ones she picked. And me being a big girl they never made me feel like I wasn't beautiful! Thank you to the amazing staff and shout out to my consultant Alena! You made my wedding dress shopping a wonderful experience and I can't wait to get my dress!

The prices at alterations are through the roof - I spent more on alterations than my actual dress, and after sharing what type of alternations were done with family and friends, all were just as appalled. Not to mention a crappy stitching job was done on my dress and I had to back the day prior to my event to have it fix. The alternation manager was polite and understanding; she got it fixed quickly, but it's the fact that it even happened in the first place and I was not given any sort of refund for the inconvenience and waste of my time. It hurts me to think that someone worked on that dress and thought it was ok to give it to me half stitched and falling apart.

My whole experience being there was so much fun. It really gave me the whole prom experience. The staff was so helpful and fun. The one thing I hated was not being able to see my whole face in the dress because of the mask. But it's whatever, gotta stay safe in this pandemic.

I got married 6 months ago, so I think it's about time to start writing all the reviews for all my wedding vendors! What better place to start than where I purchased my wedding dress. I had an excellent experience at Gesinee's Bridal. I'm from San Francisco where there are tons of bridal boutique shops that pop champagne after you say "yes to the dress" and do all that extra stuff you don't really need. Honestly, that is where I thought I would get my dress at, but I am so happy I stepped into Gesinee's Bridal instead. Francesca helped me find my perfect dress.

I had a general idea of what I wanted. I explained it to her and she did her magic and pulled several dresses immediately. We literally found my dress in her third pick! She was so down to earth and knowledgeable. She made my dress search so stress-free. I actually didn't think I would find my dress that fast because I am so picky, so I didn't bring my mom and MOH.

I told Francesca I wanted them in my dress searching process, so I told her to mark that dress in my records and I would come back to "retry" the dress with my mom and MOH. I also got my wedding dress altered and preserved at Gesinee's Bridal. I was hesitant to get my dress altered with Gesinee's because there were a lot more affordable places that I found. However, I felt confident since they specialize in wedding dresses.

They have a separate alterations location across the street. Due to COVID, a lot of my wedding plans changed and the alterations department were so flexible in keeping my dress and coordinating my fitting appointments. I decided to preserve my dress at Gesinee's for convenience. If you purchase your dress with them they give you a coupon for preserving your dress.

They do not preserve the wedding dresses in-house. They use Wedding Gown Preservation CO. With the coupon, it comes to about the same price as doing it directly with Wedding Gown Preservation CO (without the extra promotions you would get such as free preservations for wedding bands/veil). I decided to do it with Gesinee's so I didn't have to worry about packing and shipping it. Lastly, if you really want the whole bridal experience, you can still ask to take a picture with their "Yes to the Dress" sign.

Just don't forget to ask them, its behind their counter :) ** Side note: My dress came out so beautifully with the alterations! It fit like a glove! It was even featured in Diablo Magazine.

Everyone here is so sweet but I have to give Katie the biggest shoutout of all. She was my consultant this past weekend and made my first wedding dress shopping experience the best. She knew exactly what I need before I even did and you can't find that type of expertise everywhere. She really knows her stuff and you can tell she loves her job, which made working with her so much more enjoyable.

Because of her, it was a one stop shop! I will admit, after the appointment was over, I was doubting myself and the dress I picked but I went back there today for some reassurance and got exactly what I needed from Katie, ONCE AGAIN! I no longer have any doubt in my mind about the dress I picked and I recommend EVERYONE to go to Gesinee's Bridal and ask for Katie, I promise you won't be disappointed! I look forward to going back to Gesinee's once my dress arrives :

Ok. WOW. Is the best word for my experience here yesterday. First off, I called right when they opened to make sure they were truly there since it was Christmas Eve and I wanted to be sure before driving out. Sarah answered the phone and was immediately pleasant. I explained to Sarah that my fiance and I are both active duty military and we were PLANNING on getting married at the end of the year next year. but was just told recently he is going to Japan on the 15th of January. so now we are planning to elope last minute and I still wanted a nice dress. Sarah reassured me that I'd find a gown there and they would have it altered and everything ready for me in time. IMMEDIATE RELIEF.

Right when I walked in, I was greeted. Hannah helped me with, what it felt like, 50 dresses. She asked my style ahead of time and helped me select gown from the floor. Every time I tried one on, she always asked what I liked and disliked about it in comparison to the others I tried previously and also gave her very honest, polite opinion which is much appreciated when doing this on my own since it's so last minute! Irene helped pin me for alterations and she was absolutely hilarious!

We had good conversation while she helped me get the exact fit I wanted on the dress. It was so awesome that they had their own alterations department in house. Last, my dress will be ready by December 31st. they're getting it done in one week! How amazing is that?! My experience here was so great! The pictures on yelp don't do this place any justice because they have SOOOOO many gowns to choose from. Most of them under $3000 so SUPER affordable for gorgeous gowns. They deserve a better reputation.

I started the daunting search for my wedding dress, and Gesinee's Bridal was the first place I set up an appointment with. Don't let the exterior of the shop fool you, Gesinee offers over 2,000 dresses and claims you will find "the one." Making an appointment was easy, and I like that they close later compared to other bridal shops in the area.

They also have their own parking lot! I arrived a little earlier than my appointment, but was seen right away. I was paired up with Alexis, who was laid-back, knowledgeable, and patient. Since this was my first time checking out wedding dresses, I was more interested in trying on different styles than actively looking for THE dress. Alexis was understanding of that and she was able to grab me a little bit of every style.

I greatly appreciate her flexibility and patience, as I was overwhelmed and indecisive about some of the dresses. I also appreciate that Alexis was not too pushy about buying a dress then and there. If you are searching for a wedding dress, I suggest checking out Gesinee. They offer a wide variety of dresses with different price points. The shop is fairly clean and large, but slightly outdated. Staff was friendly and location was convenient. All in all, I can't wait to return for my second appointment!

I got my wedding dress at Gesinee's Bridal. I had a wonderful experience working with my bridal consultant and trying on dresses during our appointment about a year before my wedding day. There was a Christina Wu trunk show that weekend. I ended up finding a beautiful dress in her Jacquelin Exclusive line, and even before visiting any other bridal store in the area!

I was also able to use the credit I got from purchasing a dress during the trunk show towards the matching cathedral-length veil. I had a great experience during my fitting at the alterations location across the street. The women helping me were very patient and accommodating of the ways I wanted my dress altered and during my final fitting, my dress fit perfectly. I felt so beautiful and confident in my dress on my wedding day!

Miguel was amazing! I went to Gesinee's to purchase a bridesmaid dress. My friend picked Morilee as the designer in the color Deep Sea. I was the last one to get their dress. I requested an appointment for Black Friday and they were able to squeeze me in. When I arrived, I was promptly greeted by a highly friendly person. I felt welcome which is a big thing for me.

I filled out some paperwork about myself and the wedding then Miguel came and helped me find some dresses. I only had one picked out that I wanted to try on. My friend, the bride, really wanted someone to get this specific dress. Miguel said it's one of his favorites by Morilee. We grabbed that dress first. I let him grab lots of styles because I didn't have anything specific I wanted to try.

I just needed to order my dress so it arrives in time. I tried on about 8-9 dresses and the first one we grabbed (his fave and the one the bride hoped someone would get) was my favorite! It just looked the best on me. Miguel was super helpful and thoughtful. I appreciated his time and knowledge of the designer. Might update my review after I get alterations to reflect that experience. Overall, it was great. They have their own parking lot which I appreciated. The store was clean. Checking out was also fast.
