Ordered 50 chairs and tent for bridal shower. All of the merchandise was delivered filthy. I did not inspect when it arrived. as I was busy dealing with other aspects of my event. When I started to set up the tables and chairs I realized how disgusting. especially the seats of the white chairs. were. Make sure you inspect equipment when delivered. I would not recommend using this company. I never received an apology. The company only concerned with receiving their payment.

We rented a a photo booth and linens for our daughters 16th birthday! When I called to inquire the owner walked me through what would look best for her big day! We took his suggestions and the room was beautiful! The photo booth came with all of the perfect sweet 16 props and they even gave us a photo album to put all of our doubles in! It was the talk of the party! Thanks Able Smith!

We ordered table and chairs for our outdoor wedding. I paid in full before the date. The day the tables and chairs were supposed to be delivered we called the store multiple times. We were told that we were 2 stops away. Come 5pm still no delivery call store again they say they don't have the tables and chairs we ordered. So they said the have other old ones and we would get a discount.
Then it's 8 pm they finally arrived 2 of the tables wouldn't even stand up. There was sharp edges on the tables wood was peeling and chairs were rusted. We have had these chairs and tables sitting in our yard for almost 3 weeks now. The owner was supposed to call us to get it taken care of and still no word.

If I could I would give them NO stars. DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT use this company. I CAN NOT STESS THIS ENOUGH. You will be so stressed out on your wedding/party day! Everything they say and do is a lie! The stuff you rent is old and broken. Then it takes hours to get replacements, if you get them right. They also charged my credit card twice for something I already paid for.
You can never get ahold of the manager/owner. Please pay a little more and GO WITH SOMEONE ELSE. Please check out YELP, they have a 1 rating and people there also want to give "0"!

We ordered a rent with lights, tables, chairs & linens for a grad party. The tent was filthy and had several holes in it. We asked for a replacement. After calling multiple times, we gave up on the new tent 2 hours before the party was supposed to start. We were offered a refund that we never received. We followed up on that 2 days ago. Still nothing. The tent, tables and chairs have been sitting in my yard for a week. I have called multiple times to ask them to pick it up to no avail.

They were supposed to set up a tent, tables, and chairs on the Saturday before my Son's birthday party which was Sunday. I was told they would be there by 5 pm. When 5:00 came around I began calling, but no answer as they were likely closed for the day. I called non-stop the next morning in hopes that they would answer and get the equipment to us before the 2pm party.
They finally answered at 11 am and the woman claimed that the crew was supposed to deliver/set up the day before and she wasn't sure why they didn't. She dispatched a crew with the equipment and the 2 men that delivered it told me that our house was not on their schedule from the day before. The 2 men were polite and set up the equipment fast enough to give us 20 minutes to decorate before people began arriving.
When I asked the company if they would compensate me at all for the inconvenience they said they could not (I wasn't asking for a full refund). I had to stay at the house waiting for them all day Saturday for them to not even show up. I should note that this was in July 2017. If their have been ownership or management changes then maybe their reliability and customer service has improved, and yes, I should have written this 3 years ago.

Last weekend I hosted a 30th birthday party, weather was looking great and by Thursday, the forecast had changed drastically! I made a quick call to Able and within minutes I had a tent booked and scheduled. They were so very accommodating! Thank you for the great experience, we will definitely use them again! We also got 25 chairs delivered that worked great! Thank you!

Lena helped us with our clear wedding tent rental and we were very pleased with the service. Their prices are very fair and delivered our tent outside their area for a small fee. The setup crew did a great job and worked with us to hang our chandelier exactly how we wanted it (we provided). We did not rent our tables and chairs from them but we did rent the dance floor, which was very nice. Overall we are very satisfied with the job and the tent we received!

We used Able Smith to rent multiple items for our outdoor wedding on a private property in September 2018 just outside of Utica, NY. We found out about Able Smith from a recommendation of a family friend who had used their services in Summer 2017. We rented the following from them: 40x80 white pole tent, solid walls for the tent, a restroom trailer, linens for our rectangular dinner tables, linen napkins, burlap table runners for the dining tables, linens to cover hay bales that guests sat on for the ceremony and linens for our tall, round cocktail tables.
They were more than happy to delivery to us (1+ hours away), which we greatly appreciated because they were by far the best price in the central NY area for the things we were looking for. There wasn't an event coordinator to work with in the beginning when we first started reaching out for quotes and putting down deposits. So, it was very hard to nail someone down who could help us.
We often tried email and phone calls but everything needed to be routed through the owner who wasn't often in the office. Fortunately, the event coordinator - Larissa - returned (YAY!) before our wedding and she was WONDERFUL to work with. She was super responsive on phone and email, and helpful with recommendations when we had questions. We were asking for delivery for items to a location that was 1+ hours from Cicero, NY - so the tent delivery was very late on the day they delivered (dusk).
The delivery team set up the tent up in the dark and didn't leave until well after 9pm. They did a good job - but this is something to keep in mind if you do live farther away. That being said. All in all, we here very happy with the quality of items that we used for our wedding and the service provided by the business. We would absolutely use them again in the future! Attached you'll find a picture of the restroom trailer we used!

We hired these people for our daughter's wedding. They were supposed to deliver the tents on Friday afternoon. They never showed up until 8:30 Friday night causing a huge delay in our set up. When I voiced my dissatisfaction with this, one of the men setting up the tents threatened to take them down. Of course he already had my check in his hand.
They were supposed to pick up the tents Monday morning, but never showed up until Tuesday afternoon. I will never use this company again. Horrible experience! I gave them one star only because I had to in order to post this review. They didn't even deserve that!
