I recently achieved my Doctoral Degree and wanted to capture this time with a graduation photo shoot. I had the most amazing afternoon celebrating my accomplishments with confidence and glamour. Janice was absolutely magical and I literally can't thank her enough for empowering me to get such perfect timeless photos. Every woman deserves a DIVA photo day!

Janice Morse Portraits is top-tier. Janice captured both my maternity photos and my daughter's newborn photographs. Janice is a photographer like no other, really. She stands out in multiple ways. The quality of her photographs is beyond anything i could compare too. It's the little details she pays attention to like a wrinkle in a fabric, or the writing in a diaper showing through. It's the angle of the photograph or how much light is coming through. She will literally take 15 minutes to get a pose for your newborn just right before she snaps the picture.

She's incredibly patient.waiting for them to calm from crying by giving them a pacifier, caressing their faces till they fall asleep or giving you time to feed them if necessary. It's keeping her studio warm and quiet. The outfits she provides are exceptional! It's things you see in the movies or on models that you wish you had. Beautiful, unique, soft, and most of all clean.

She washes EVERYTHING in between clients and never gets bothered if your baby soils something of hers. As a person, she's sweet, genuine, passionate and a complete joy to be around! She's professional but also a human and relates to you on all levels. She provides snacks and beverages to keep you fueled during your shoot. She's quality!

If you are looking for a photographer who captures the essence of your beauty, both inside and out then look no further. In fact, to call her a photographer is a disservice as she is so much more. Janice is an artist with an eye for detail and it shows. She is a master of poses and brings out the best in you and/or your children. Nestled in a converted garage of her home is a uniquely decorated studio full of back drops, props, clothing, drapes, lighting and so much more.

Before you visit for your photo shoot Janice has already learned about you, your likes and your wishes. She does her homework and has everything at the ready when you arrive. We have completed two of our four scheduled shoots at this point in time. We never feel rushed. In fact both shoots lasted for about 7 hours each. The second shoot involved us and a 3 week old baby.

Her patience and care of the baby was remarkable. I do not believe she ever took a break to sip a drink or go to the bathroom. We had her undying attention. The result is the most magnificent set of pictures you could ever imagine. Once completed, they are all presented to you via a slide show also set up in her studio. Pictures are subtly tweaked with Photoshop to your liking.

Dramatic is an understatement of her artistry. My father had an expression that good meat ain't cheap and cheap meat ain't good. The same applies to Janice. If you are looking for a standard smile and pose with your chin on your arms, look further as this is not your choice. Consider this to be your magazine shoot. You will come out looking like a movie star.

It is the difference between ordinary and extraordinary. Although pictures are just a quick snapshot in time, they forever live in printed form, passed on through the generations. Your family will cherish her works of art. We certainly do.
