Owen was an absolutely AMAZING DJ! To start, he was super helpful in making sure my groom and I had everything we needed when he had music on the booth! He was like an entire wedding assistant on top of taking care of the music and it made the night so helpful! He payed a ton of our songs on the permafrost playlist and a bunch of last second requests right then and there!

He accommodated for anything and everything and was absolutely the best! I recommend their service to anyone doing a Tahoe wedding! You'll be treated to the best music and DJ!

Over the years I've worked with Owen both personally and professionally and he has always delivered. He asks for musical tastes and playlists ahead of time and even downloads rare genre's and hard to find songs for your special day. His enthusiasm and love for his job clearly shows as he always arrives early, goes the extra mile and strives to get everyone on the dance floor! I highly recommend Owen for your DJ service needs.

Owen is great. We hired him to DJ our wedding in South Lake Tahoe and he did a wonderful job. After thoroughly understanding us, our event, and desires, he coordinated with our wedding organizer, pastor, photographer, etc. to not only DJ, but direct a smooth flowing celebration. He was well organized and helped us have an amazing night. He was fun and creatively able to get people on the dance floor and enjoying each other. I've been to many weddings and have never seen that many people dancing, even those like me, who don't do it very well.

I was impressed, and many of our guests commented on how they liked him. To top it all off, he had his DJ equipment stolen from his home just before the wedding. My wife and I worked with Owen for our wedding at Edgewood in July 2018. Owen did a great job getting the crowd going and playing the songs we requested. He also has some online tools to help you organize the timelines and must and don't play songs. We were able to take a break or switch gears to other wedding tasks and come back to revisit it instead of trying to figure it out all at once. Thanks Owen!

Don't let the 5 stars fool you what I experience it myself in person. Owen seem a nice guy, but he can be asshole in different way of approach. He did what he had to do, therefore I didn't get my songs and remix of reggae musics I want for the wedding. I would say, therefore he did an not a bad job. Let me roll back to clarify everything.

When I ask for DJ, yet it was gettin harder for me to make any calls or do my best to text because my wife and I have triplets, plus top of that I work 2 jobs. It get harder on me every challenging obstacles that happening. Let me forward to the wedding part. For the reception, DJ couldn't pronounce some of the groomsmen and bridesmaid's name, since one of our families member ask or willing to offer help for announcing the name on mic. DJ Owen rather do it on himself. (My wife and I are partly deaf and we have interpreter for that day.) DJ Owen try to talk to me, perhaps I told him get the interpreter to translate ASL (American Sign Language for any deaf or hard or hearing), thereof making every way easier for all of us.

At the dance floor, there was couples of the families members did ask for the songs per requested, unfortunately Owen said, "Tell me later." (Apparently we paid for him, he should be able to be flexible and make that happen for all of us. He cannot always do it his own way isn't right). Everything else went good, but several disappointment. I wouldn't recommend anyone for this DJ Owen, if he cannot do what we asked or want to do, he cannot always have it his way, on the other hands it wouldn't benefit to others. Hopefully this will change better for others. I'm sorry for giving you 3 Stars and I really do. Thank for your service though. Here is an example the pic attachment of the group text.

Owen is a joy to work with! Very professional and organized, yet fun. He DJ'd my wedding on October 21 and he made the whole process so easy. I was nervous about choosing music but his online music library really helped. After choosing some of our favorites we gave him creative license to play stuff he thought would be popular. He did not disappoint. My guests had a blast. I highly recommend him for all your events.

I highly recommend Owen to DJ any wedding! He was our DJ 11/5/16 at the Edgewood and he did a wonderful job. He was easy to work with from the very beginning. You can tell he knows what he's doing! We had a death in the family just before the wedding, and so we had to make multiple changes without much notice. Owen was flexible and did such a great job with all of this. He coordinated everything and made sure the night was beautiful and went smoothly. He is awesome and we can't thank him enough!

We couldn't have asked for a better experience with Owen. He knows EXACTLY how to keep a wedding flowing smoothly. Owen made sure to get our whole agenda for the day to be carried out how we wanted. When it came to dancing, we were shocked by the huge number of guests dancing all at once. He knows how to get everyone out on that floor having a great time. Countless guests have come up to us since and remarked on how much fun our wedding was. We owe so much of that to Owen. He's amazing!

Owen was our DJ/ Master of Ceremonies for our daughters wedding this July 2016 at Lake Tahoe Golf Course. He was fantastic! He kept the guests in the loop as to what was happening. Kept the timeline on schedule. We had the dinner and speeches inside and dancing outside. He set up the sound system perfectly. The music he played was perfect for each part of the reception.

The cocktail hour, dinner time ( the music was at the perfect volume, so people could talk) the dance music was great. He even got out there and showed everyone how to do the Cupid shuffle- so much fun! He kept everything moving smoothly. We would definitely recommend Owen in a heartbeat! Thank you Owen!

Owen DJ'd our wedding at the end us June. He has an online tool to help pick songs and make sure music is picked for each part of the wedding. He shared his expertise for planning the timing and order of events for the reception which was super helpful for the day of. The dance floor was full all night. Guests had a great time. Highly recommended. Thank you for everything!

My wife and I booked J J Entertainment for our wedding reception May 7th, 2016. Owen was our DJ. We called him last minute and he was extremely helpful. Owen was a huge part in making sure our reception went so well! He was great to work with, made sure he did everything he could to accommodate us. With his help, we laid out all the songs, speeches, dances that we wanted to do and Owen kept the flow going throughout the night.

There wasnt any down time, no slow points or anything. Owen was amazing. He played great music, made sure everyone had a great time, and kept the dance floor full all night. I would highly recommend them for any event you have coming up in South Lake. Thank you again for all of your help!

Randy was the DJ for my daughter's wedding on July 25 and we were very pleased. He was very personable and accommodating. He spoke with my daughter a couple of times the week before the wedding to answer her questions. As I said we were very pleased and highly recommend Randy at Jj Entertainment

We booked JJ Entertainment for our July 5th Lake Tahoe wedding and had a great experience working with them. The online tools are cool, and we had a lot of fun picking out songs. We wanted to make a few changes to our songs the day before the wedding, and Owen (our DJ for the event) was there to help us out even though it was a holiday. I was nervous about booking such a big part of the wedding without getting to do a test run, so we were very clear about what we wanted.

On the day of the wedding Owen got there with plenty of time to set up for both our outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. We had a small wedding with an even smaller number of people who wanted to dance, but Owen did a great job of getting the party started and played the songs we wanted all night. Everyone wanted to keep dancing and celebrating when our venue time was up, which was a great feeling.

All in all they were great to work with, communicated with us very well throughout the lead up to the wedding and on the day of the wedding, and made everything fun and stress free. I would definitely recommend them and hire them again!

JJ Entertainment provided DJ services for our wedding in South Lake Tahoe at Edgewood. Gary and Adam were an excellent pair! The wedding ran like clock work, and they were very helpful planning out some last minute but complicated planning on a surprise appearance by Darth Vader! Their pacing and timing was excellent. The playlist gave them a good idea of our tastes.

They played a good set of music, everyone enjoyed themselves. And they brought us in when necessary for input which worked out perfectly. Rest assured, you'll be in good hands.

We used JJ Entertainment for a Photo/Screen Booth for our wedding on Saturday August 21st. Suzanne Joy and Gary were awesome! They were so helpful in person, over the phone and over email to help get ready for the Big Day. All of our guests LOVED the photo/screen booth. It isn't your typical photo booth. They set up a large interactive LCD screen onto a table and your guests select their names from the list presented on the screen.

They can take as many photos as they want, leave you with a text message, or leave a video message. They take photos in sets of 4 and they are printed right there for them. A little over 1 week after the event, my husband and I received 2 copies of everything on CD (Suzanne even mailed my mom, out-of-state, a copy of her own which I thought was very thoughtful!) We were cracking up laughing scrolling through all the photos, videos, and text messages.

I thought the price was reasonable for everything we got out of it and because of how much fun our guests all had! **You can tell Suzanne and her team take what they do seriously. They went to the site the week before to test out the lighting, noise, shade, etc. They really took extra care to make sure our wedding was wonderul* A+ THANK YOU JJ Entertainment!

My husband and I used JJ Entertainment as our DJ's for our wedding. They were phenomenal! Gary continuously reassured me that they would be coordinating the entire event and that we would not have to worry about a thing. Boy was he right! Him and Suzanne took care of everything. The flow of the entire day went so well thanks to them. They were in complete control which was so relieving. Gary took care of ceremony and reception music, while Suzanne did the music for the cocktail hour.

They played all our 'must play' songs, and were even able to play a couple of songs that were not in their huge database (which means they actually took the time to search for the music. Definitely a plus!). They both gave us some great advice on choice of music, timing and flow of ceremony into reception, and when to end the reception. They are such a great team.

We used JJ Entertainment for our wedding in South Lake Tahoe and they were fantastic! Gary and Suzanne were some of the nicest people I have met. They have an online database where you can work on your play and do not play lists and save your work before finally submitting it. There are also online tools to plan the timeline of the ceremony and the reception.

After we input all of our songs and information, we had a very lengthy conversation with Gary and he had tons of helpful suggestions for us. We were planning everything ourselves and had a friend as our officiant and we were kind of clueless on how to have the day proceed. Gary had great suggestions on how to make the most of the day and have everything flow smoothly.

We were also very impressed by his ability to predict other songs that we liked and disliked based on our play and do not play lists. At the wedding itself, Gary and Suzanne were fantastic. They did the music for everything-- the ceremony, cocktails, during dinner, and the dancing-- and it was all fantastic. Our only very small complaint is that not all of our requested songs were played.

A few that we really wanted during the dancing were played during cocktails and a bunch were not played at all. A few more were only played after we re-requested them during the dancing. However, overall, they were fantastic and I would wholeheartedly recommend them. They were just so nice and thoughtful, and the rates were very reasonable for the service they provide.

We will remember two very thoughtful things they did for us as well. First, our guestbook was not put out until later in the evening. Suzanne noticed that not many guests had signed it, so she started passing it around during the dancing for people to sign. I just thought that was so extremely thoughtful for the DJ to worry about guests not signing the guestbook! Second, they actually brought us a memento of the evening that they give to us at the end of the night that was also so thoughtful! I highly highly recommend J J Entertainmnent for any wedding or event. We were so lucky to have them as our DJs.

These guys are GREAT! I cannot recommend them enough. We used them for our wedding and got exceptional service. We met with Gary and Suzanne several months before our event to go over what we wanted. They were flexible with our several non-traditional things (slideshow, belly dancer, korean fan dance, etc.) and seemed genuinely excited to work with us.

We were able to enter our playlist and organize our event via their website.they had every song you could want.and will add any song you want to their library. Suzanne did the music for our cocktail hour and kept the flow going very weel and Gary acted as our MC.he kept everything flowing according to our timeline and gave very wise suggestions for the timing of everything.

My husband and I just followed our already decided schedule of events for the evening and had a great low-stress enjoyable evening with our friends and family. Highly recommended to anyone considering a wedding in Tahoe. Book them early.
