My fiance and I went in on a Sunday evening. It was probably close to 6:30 or 7pm. It's June, So the Sun was still bright. There were lots of people walking around the town and the was out the door. I looked this bakery up on Yelp and what drew To this specific spot was that their mini small cakes reminded me of Alice in wonderland that read "eat me" Silly, but Primrose Did not fail.
Everything looked so delicious. The staff was working efficiently to serve everyone. Was super friendly. I will definitely be back. Next Time I'll take pictures of my dessert to share. My fiance and I also tried their carrot cake! My goodness. Best carrot cake I've ever had.

We LOVE this bakery. since discovering it 2 years ago, we have not eaten a store bought cookie or other baked good since! its THAT good. we have tried just about everything there and have yet to be disappointed. I wish I could recommend one thing for you to try but its all so good. I guess just pick your favorite item and then keep trying new things as you visit. thats what my husband and I do and after 2 years we are still spending a pretty penny about every other week! If you are in the area stop by, it will be worth it.

Walking around P-Town on a warm Juneteenth evening, felt the ol' sweet tooth point me towards a small bakery tucked away off Main Street. Coconut macroons, soft and just the right amount of sweetness, Cookies and Croissants (Chocolate, Almond, Cream cheese), Doggie Biscuits (not for me but my four-legged sidekick), Petit Fours and.wait for it. Turkish Delight. Nougat, Strawberry, Mango, Pomegranate. And.there is more. bellinis, mimosas and other drinks to sit out and sip while people watching. Friendly staff, gave my dog a doggie cookie, allowed him in. Masks are welcome.

It was a beautiful night. I alway heard that Primrose had wonderful desserts. I came in for what I thought would be a great treat but the lady behind the counter disregarded me. She decided to help another couple who came in after me instead. I should have taken that as a sign to walk out but I proceeded to order a cannoli that was prefilled. She assured me the shell was going to be crunchy but when I took a bite- the shell was soggy.
Glad other people had great experiences here but I definitely would not be coming back. Update 6/6/22- I appreciate that the owner acknowledged my concern. I really love to support local businesses. I have updated my review from 1 star to 3 stars.

Stopped by for some birthday pastries for my mom a few months ago and was pleasantly surprised! They have a wide range of different pastries to choose from including pies, cakes, petit fours, roll cakes, cookies, scones, the list just goes on! It was definitely he's picking just a few things out. They also have coffee, tea, and freshly baked bread.
Our favorite things were the chocolate mousse cake, cannolis, and mango mousse cake. The cannolis were incredible; they reminded me of Venierio's in New York. So good and not overly sweet with their filling. I could seriously just order a dozen of them! Cakes are fluffy but decadent with so many different chocolate flavors to try. Service is always friendly and patient. They also make great recommendations! Parking can be found on the street or in little lots throughout the area. More than worth checking out if you're downtown :

Holy, frickin', moley. I think I've died and gone to dessert heaven. Primrose offers every kind of sweet baked good imaginable with a flavor that will knock your socks off. but then put them back on because it's so sweet. They have a range of different cookies in one display, and more cake oriented desserts in the other. Without a doubt, they make the best chocolate chip cookie I've ever had. I've only tried a few of the cakes but each has been moist and truly delicious. If you have a craving for anything sweet, this is the place you need to stop. And then come back every week like I do.

My parents got me a birthday cake from here and - oof, hope they don't see this review LOL. Not trying to be harsh - the birthday cake was good (though not the best) - but after I went to the bakery myself with them, and saw the prices, I believe there's cakes out there for more affordable prices. The Princess Cake is white sponge cake with raspberry jam, cream, and a layer of marzipan.
I adore marzipan but the entire cake and especially the marzipan were too sweet. The cream was also too heavy for me. But, the cake is showstopping and comes in pink and green colors! We also got a Pistachio Croissant - I've had many in my life and this one was rather disappointing. The amount of highly anticipated pistachio cream is puny. Adding an extra star though, because my parents like this bakery!

We got introduced to this cute little bakery in Pleasanton downtown because my son won one of their custom cakes at a Halloween costume contest. The cake was beautifully done, moist and flavorful, although a little too sweet for our liking probably because it had way too much buttercream. They do have a wide variety of pastries, baked goodies, savory snacks and cakes.
They also do custom cakes for occasions and weddings. I tried their Lemon Tarts and loved them! They have jams, teas, cocktails & other mechandise for sale as well. This place definately has something for everyone!

I've been coming for a couple of years and they always have great pastries and great customer service. They are always so kind with a smile, which is very rare these days. Love their Princess Cake, but I've also tried their bourbon maple eclair, napoleon, and cannoli's. I've tried a couple of their chocolate cakes, they are so rich! Don't be scared of the size, it is more than enough. Will be coming back :

We have been here many times over the years and have never been disappointed by there pastries. Our all time favorite here is the chocolate eclairs and creme brulee. The chocolate eclairs is the best we have had locally or In all of east bay. Its perfect with less sugar and its amazing textured filling. Creme brulee's are awesome and when the top crust is crispy then its better as you enjoy the crunch. We have also tried nos of small cheesecakes and cakes and almost all them were nice. Recently we tried their Tiramisu cake and it was yummy.would recommend it.

We love this little bakery. We always pop by when we go to Murphy's Paw. they're a bit pricey, but good bakeries are. "Must try's": cannolis (we like the traditional), florentines, cowboy cookies and grab some bags of almond or pistachio biscotti to go. Service is very friendly, and their hours are hella accommodating if you want a later evening treat!

This is the third time we've been to this bakery. We were here for the second time just before Thanksgiving but I didn't make time to write a review. On that visit, we were looking for some pie and cookies. We hadn't planned on dropping by so we didn't order in advance. By luck, they had "spare" Pecan and Blackberry Pies. We got those and a box of Holiday Cookies for one event and a Tiramisu Cake.
The Pies were great, easily 5's. I don't think I'd ever had a Pecan Pie with so many pecans. The Tiramisu Cake was a bit dry for us. Flavors were on point but the Lady Fingers were oddly crunchy. We didn't get a chance to try the cookies as the kids got to them first. On this visit, I was dropping by to visit a friend and wanted something to bring.
The line of customers who had pre-ordered was at least 12 people deep. We waited in line until someone came out from the shop and asked if anyone in line DID NOT HAVE A PRE-ORDER. Of course, we were the only ones and invited to enter the bakery immediately. The "spare" pies that they had available didn't appeal to us, Pumpkin and Mince so we got an Apricot Coffee Cake for my friend and some pastries for ourselves. Once again, Primrose met our needs and satisfied our bellies. Thank goodness we don't live nearby!

They service a few special alcoholic beverages and a couple of local beer cans at this bakery. And just an FYI, they only have just one kind of coffee nothing else, just regular coffee and you can add cream/sugar to your liking and hot tea with bags of different flavors to choose from. But the main show are all the sweets they had from pastries, cookies, cannolis, Turkish sweets and treats for dogs and more. I ordered the snickerdoodle because I couldn't decide and snickerdoodle Is safe. It was so soft and it tasted like a snickerdoodle.

I love stopping by Primrose Bakery when I find myself in downtown Pleasanton. They have a large selection of baked goods, and I can always find something new that I haven't tried before. The baked goods are packed with flavor and sure to satisfy the sweet tooth. It also makes a great place to stop by for a housewarming gift/would be great to bring to a party.

My bestfriend and I stopped by Primrose Bakery after brunch at one of the restaurants on Main St. Primrose Bakery had an impressive display of cakes, pies, cookies, and more. I got a kick out of the Halloween themed desserts, such as the princess cake designed as a monster with the exposed brain. They also had a great selection of Fall themed flavors for the season.
I ordered several items but so far tried the chocolate chip cookie, princess cake, red velvet cheesecake, and pear frangipane tart: The chocolate chip cookie was made just the way I like it - soft and chewy. It was also loaded with chocolate chips. Princess cake is one of my favorite types of cakes. Although Primrose Bakery's princess cake was teetering on the "too sweet" side, it honestly was one of the best I've ever had.
The pear frangipane tart was pretty basic. The almond flavor was very subtle. Personally I would've appreciated a more bold almond taste. The red velvet cheesecake was my least favorite. I wasn't a fan of the consistency of the cheesecake. It had a looser texture rather than a firm set for a cheesecake, and I thought the taste was off perhaps from the food coloring.

Quite frankly, the best cake shop in the UK, hands down. Always 10 out of 10 and the service is always amazing. I've been going to PB for over 10 years and have never had a bad experience and always loved every type of cake they make. I can't stress enough just how delicious everything they make is. All the staff are a delight to talk to, service is always exemplary. Stunning and delicious.

Primrose Bakery is my go-to for celebration cakes. Sometimes I invent a celebration just to have a cake. My faves are the s'mores and cookie dough cakes. My kiddos always ask for a confetti cake for their birthdays. I'm also a super fan of their peanut butter Oreo brownies, cheese cake cupcakes, and lemon cupcakes. Also my favourite iced black Americano in London. I love this place!
