We got married June 17th at The Oaks at Salem! An incredible day but unfortunately, a bad storm came through and knocked the power for about an hour as dinner was being served. CBD kept serving without skipping a beat. Jim specifically, cannot thank you enough! Not only did they provide great service, we got many compliments on how good the food was! Highly recommend!

We could not have been happier with CBD for our daughter's wedding reception. Jim and the rest of the staff were great to work with and very attentive. The venue lost power for 1.5 hours right before dinner and CBD just rolled with it. We got lots of compliments on the food. Would definitely recommend CBD.

We used them for our rehearsal dinner and reception. My goal was to have something different, so we did a taco bar for rehearsal and breakfast food for the reception. The breakfast for dinner menu blew people away! Everyone was so excited about the chicken and waffles! I would highly recommend Catering by Design if you're looking for a flexible, professional, customizable, and unique wedding caterer.
They'll let you customize your dream menu and also have bartending services! They set up, cleaned up, cleared plates, cut the cake, and checked on the bride and groom to make sure we were satisfied. Kelli was very helpful and patient throughout the whole process and I couldn't recommend them enough!

Catering By Design far exceeded our expectations; I just wish I could express how amazing they are. We did our tasting in June of 2019 and by the time we made it down the aisle, it was March of 2022. With so many changes we had to make throughout those almost three years, Catering By Design was unbelievably helpful and understanding. We decided to have stationed appetizers and a buffet because, let's face it, who doesn't like to have a bunch of options?!
The staff was absolutely amazing and so accommodating, and the food was spectacular. As we provided the liquor, we decided to have Catering By Design provide the mixers and soft drinks and sweet tea. I asked if they could also provide grenadine and cherries so the six kids we had at the wedding could have Shirley Temples. What I never expected was for them to go over and beyond by making an entire beverage dispenser of Shirley Temple with a huge bowl of maraschino cherries next to it.
Of course, I was a bit busy dancing my feet off so I didn't even notice it, but we received so many compliments on that detail. I wish I had realized it that night because it was so special. Never, in all my years, did I expect them to do that from my simple request of having grenadine and cherries! That is something you can't teach; their clients come first and they make you feel so special.
The bartender was great and she kept checking on us through the night, ensuring we had everything we needed. The servers were so polite and personable and they were the epitome of professionalism. At the end of the night, they packed our leftovers in to go containers and packed the leftover cake for us also. Do yourself a favor and choose Catering By Design!

My company used Catering by Design last night for our dinner and everything went perfectly. The staff showed up early, set everything up perfectly, and came back to clean up. We didn't have to do a think which is exactly what you want during an event. We will absolutely be using their services again for future catering needs.

Outstanding service and food! Everyone enjoyed the hot buffet, especially the lasagna and the grilled chicken with garlic and lemon. The miniature assorted desserts were excellent. Also impressive is the quality of the disposable dinnerware and utensils. It was worth having the two servers who were polite, friendly and very professional. They set up, served and cleaned up - you cannot ask for more! Catering by Design works with your choices and offers an outstanding menu selection and service. My sister, brother and I used this service for a recent family event. We highly recommend them.

Kelli and the team at Catering By Design were fantastic! They were very accommodating when it came to choosing our menu, and were very response throughout the entire wedding planning process. The staff was fantastic on our wedding day (we got tons of compliments from our guests on the friendliness of the staff and the delicious food!). Highly recommend!

Catering by Design provided the food and service for our daughter's backyard wedding. From our first contact with Kelli, we were impressed with their professionalism. The tasting alone exceeded our expectations and we knew we would be in good hands using their services. They provided everything we could possibly need, created a beautiful display and delicious food that our guests raved about. Cristina was organized, hardworking and friendly.
She took such good care of us before and during the event and again exceeded our expectations! Because of her wonderful service, the evening flowed seamlessly! We are grateful to her, Kelli and the entire staff! This was my first time using a catering service for a party at my home, and I did not know what I was missing! Will definitely utilize their services in the future!
