We make our desserts completely from scratch. We start by individually selecting the highest quality ingredients available. Since we don't start with pre-processed products, we can use rBGH-free dairy, organically and locally grown produce, and 100% non-GMO ingredients. Our resulting product is an exceptionally delicious dessert.
We love to support non-profit organizations and schools in our community (within Lane County). We are happy to make a gift card or product donation to public fundraisers held by eligible non-profit organizations once per calendar year. Eligible organizations are non-profits whose main mission is charitable, environmental, or educational.
We can create custom designs upon request for an additional charge. Please call at least one week in advance for custom designs and we can give you quotes and discuss options for your order. If you're looking for something with less than 3 days' notice, not to worry! We have whole desserts available all the time, so give us a call and we'll see if the item you want is something we have on hand. A limited menu of our items for delivery can be found online at the Grubhub website (grubhub.com).

This is a really cute little place with lots of sweet treats and it's right next to campus! They are also next to a couple resturuaunts and could make for a fun desert after. I've come here a few times and have never been disappointed. Definitely come earlier in the day though for the freshest pastries, I have gotten pastries here from the end of the day that weren't as great. There are lots of vegan/glutin free options to choose from as well.

This is the best place to get sweet treats in Eugene. They carry an incredible variety of cakes, pies, pastries and cookies. There is something for everyone if you have a sweet tooth. The staff are very friendly and the store is efficient in getting people through. I recommend parking in the surrounding streets as on site parking is very limited.

Great tasting European style pastries and cakes. My running favorite is the caramel lava chocolate souffle. There are many selections to choose from, and friendly counter staff to help you with suggestions. Expect a short line when you arrive. There is ample parking further down the alley in case you don't get one of the few spots in front.

We ordered 10 dozen, 5 different flavors 2 dozen of each because they had so many awesome flavors we wanted to have them all for our dessert bar for our wedding. We also got a 2 tier cake. Everything was gluten free, dairy free and tasted amazing! They were also so much more affordable then many other vendors we looked into. I can't recommend Sweet Life enough! Use them for all your dessert needs!

Everything I've had here has been superb, except one. Love the tarts, the Josephine (which is a puff pastry filled with custard and served with a red raspberry sauce) is amazing. Loved the layered mousse with passionfruit and cake and creamy goodness. I wanted to try everything, it all looks so spectacular. Only exception was the bacon caramel corn, which I picked up at the register, usually one of my weaknesses.
But I couldn't taste the bacon at all and there was not enough caramel on the popcorn. They can easily improve this, and I would skip the bacon. Sounded good, but just not enough to matter.

5/5 for a delicious and beautiful cake with truly exceptional customer service! We purchased a cake for a coworker's retirement party. Their 9 round, confetti with mixed berry, egg and dairy free was PERFECT. It was decadent, fresh, and beautiful. It fed 12 people easily with leftovers. Thank you for making ordering a pleasure, pickup a breeze, and for making an excellent cake!

Great offerings, the quality is top notch and there is decent variety. I like the monthly menu changes. Went in today and the customer service was pretty poor. I can understand if customer service slips a bit when things are busy, but this was a slow rainy afternoon and I was the only one in the store. It was a disappointing experience.

We got our wedding cake from Sweet Life and it was the perfect choice. Throughout the process, Sweet Life was great. They set up the tasting for us to sample flavors and once we made our choice everything was arranged simply and efficiently. Our wedding was quite far away from Eugene and the delivery fee didn't make sense, but they worked with us to make everything safe for transporting and it worked great. The cake itself was so good! It was beautiful and tasty and a perfect dessert for our wedding. We would highly recommend them!

I know they don't need another 5 star review, but I'm gonna give one anyway. I love their food. I love their vibe. 10/10 recommend. Sweet Life pie through the summer is a family tradition in our household. Also, as someone who has photographed hundreds of weddings all over the country, their wedding cakes are still the very best I've had. Anywhere. Large or small.

Absolutely the cutest little shop in the cute town. Came in for some coffee and a few pastries. Had a huge cinnamon bun and the pecan chewy bar. However I also ordered a cake over the phone in California and had it delivered with care to my daughters for their bday. Cake was super delicious and very cute design. Definitely recommend coming here!

Customer was in sweet life without a mask so me and my boyfriend waited outside until he left. When I came in I asked if there was a reason the person didn't have a mask on, one of the girls behind the counter mumbled something rude under her breath then turned around and shook her head. Then they both proceeded to act like we were not there.
Sorry I don't understand why me asking why someone doesn't have a mask on is such a problem. How do I know that man doesn't have covid? I don't. If I could give 0 stars I would. Definitely would recommend showing your employees basic customer service.

Gluten free greatness! I've been twice and every single thing I've gotten has been delicious! This time I got the strawberry lemonade gluten free cupcake and the gluten free cheese bun. Wow! The cupcake is a smaller size, kind of in-between mini and regular. The cake itself is moist and delicious. The frosting is so good, not too sweet, and the flavors are delicious.
The cheese bun was light and very similar to a normal roll. I can't attest to the other pastries here but everything looks beautiful and they are also very nice when you have questions.

I love the concept of a by the slice pie and cake dessert shop! They have cookies, ice cream, coffee, and pastry goods across the spectrum. They sell whole cakes/pies and have slice options as well. On a Sunday night they were busy! We waited in line 2-3 minutes and our orders came out within 10 minutes. We didn't get a bad pastry, so definitely recommend mixing and matching. Yum, thanks Eugene for this sweet little gem.

Notice traveling foodies * this is a must stop for baked goodness beyond your wildest Meyer lemon tart! This is where birthdays are spent after dinner for most the families special celebrating. From the basic molasses cookie to the napoleon to the delicate tarts and cheesecakes. Just say yes to dessert and get to one of these premier Eugene spots. Trust!

Let's talk cookies: in general their cookies are a strange texture. If you are from the South the cookies are tougher than we like. However, the flavors are good. I suggest the peanut butter chocolate chip cookie. Amazing. Not as big of a fan of the ginger molasses. I like the old fashioned ginger molasses cookies my grandmother makes, more brown than black, thin, exceptionally chewy, large and round.
These are thick, dry, and bitter. Not a fan but maybe it is cultural and this is how the ginger molasses cookies are made in the West. The pumpkin spice cookie is like a cake cookie. Very good. Definitely get the pumpkin spice. Let's talk desserts:

So Sweet Life Petite is the small version of the Patisserie! It's definitely worth going to, the desserts are just the same and super amazing. But it's definitely a smaller version and doesn't have near as much stuff. No coffee or ice cream at this one. But this place is seriously so good and it's right next to Prince Puckler's which does have ice cream! Overall, this area is really cute, lots of outside seating too! And right near campus Go check it out!

How excellent this bakery truly is! I not only loved how delicious my raspberry lemon whoopie pie was, but just how many seasonal options they have. I went with a bigger group and everyone got something different and nobody was unhappy at all. My best friend swears by their creme brulee and it certainly was delicious. My other companion swears by their carrot cake, though they had sold out by the time we had gotten there.
The meringue cookies were beautiful and very delicious as well. Their cakes and pies all look scrumptious and if I wasnt already stuffed from dinner, I might've gotten more.

Find your favorite and forget about it. There is so much for you to experience here and so satisfying. This is a place to explore your sweet tooth, don't let those pesky cavities get in the way either. I always enjoy their selections of cakes, my favorite was a raspberry chocolate ganache, that smashed my taste buds with so much richness they where dancing to the sweet tunes. It's also fun to try their deserts of the month, I've never found disappointment shoveling spoonfuls of grade A sugar into my mouth.
I do have a single complaint, which is the wait time can be excessive, and even with all that time to make a choice, I end up still not knowing what I want cause there are so many wonderful options, which then leads me to getting way more then I really need. I suppose this isn't the worst thing to happen, also wait times are usually only long on weekends, and around holidays.

This is another of our favorite, must visit places in Eugene. We have tried a lot of their offerings, have liked it all. This time we got a slice of the German chocolate cake, Chocolate Mousee, Chocolate Souffle Torte. We loved them all. Other favorites include Hazelnut milk chocolate, creme brulee, various petite fours, etc.

The name "sweet life" is a perfect fit for this decadent and delicious bakery. When you walk into this quaint little shop you'll see a giant case with different desserts for any type of person. From classic pumpkin pie in the fall to piggy shaped petit fours filled with maple bacon they have something to satisfy any sweet tooth. Some of my favorites: Zesty Lime tart Perfectly baked cookies Homemade marshmallows Cheesecake (any flavor!) Chocolate mousse Although those are my personal favorites I have a feeling that anything you order will be devoured and enjoyed.
They have espresso drinks as well as hot chocolate which I highly recommend on a cold day. If I had one critique it would be to please heat the hot chocolate until it is HOT especially when it's cold outside. Our hot chocolates were more like warm chocolates and needed warming up when we got home (only a 2 minute drive away) because they weren't steamed for long enough.
Other than that it was perfect for a cold night and not too sweet. I would be so down for some of those homemade marsh mellows if that were to become an added option! This location only has outdoor seating so take that into consideration if you come here on a cold night. They are open until 11pm everyday and on busy nights you might have to park a couple blocks away since many people park to go to the popular Prince Pucklers ice cream shop right next door. They also have another location on Monroe Street that's even bigger with tables to sit inside and even more pastries and cakes to choose from!
