DJ Stoltz Records serves the entire state of Oregon and occasisonally travels out of state when requested. Event services include mobile DJ entertainment for weddings, school dances and other events along with event lighting, photo booths, day-of coordination and acting as your master of ceremonies.

David Stoltz (DJ Stoltz) started music when he was only six years old on the piano, first learning music by ear and then eventually receiving music lessons in McMinnville, OR where he studied classical music. When he went into middle school he started on alto saxophone and played from 6th-7th grade, after which moving with his family to Bend, OR where he finished 8th grade playing tenor saxophone, piano and started on drums while being exposed to jazz, funk and r&b styles of music. In high school he expanded his saxophone playing to baritone and soprano saxophones, became a permanent drummer/percussionist in Mountain View High School's jazz ensemble and in 2004 created his own label DJ Stoltz Records after discovering the possibilities of digital music production using programs such as FL Studio, Reason, Acid and Adobe Audition.
2005 marked the beginning of Stoltz's DJ career, first performing for iSky's employee picnic where he had a job doing phone surveys, then eventually iSky's Holiday Party. David realized he had a love for performing at events and being responsible for the entertainment and this quickly expanded into his own mobile DJ business where he has since performed at a variety of weddings, birthday parties, sweet 16's, corporate events, school dances, proms, holiday parties and other events. 2006 marked his start of obtaining a music degree in college at Lane Community College being involved with the Lane Jazz Ensemble, Lane Symphonic Band and Jazz Combo programs performing on saxophone, piano, drums and percussion.
David has been involved with various musicals throughout Oregon including "They're Playing Our Song" (drums/percussion/sound effects), "Seusical The Musical" (drums/soprano saxophone), "Chicago" (drums/alto saxophone), "I'm Getting My Act Together and Taking It On The Road," (drums/alto saxophone) "Man Of La Mancha" (drums/percussion/guitar) and "Three Penny Opera" (drums/percussion/laptop programing and sequencing). Awards obtained includes a Varsity Letter Award, Outstanding Senior Jazz Musician and Outstanding Musician at Mountain View High School; Oregon Jr. Bach Festival on piano, Recognition of Outstanding Musicianship on drums at the Reno Jazz Festival, and an Eagle Scout.
Today Stoltz maintains an active gig schedule and plans to release an album online by the end of the year of original trance music. He currently resides in Duck Town USA (Eugene, OR - GO DUCKS!).

Hannah came out and did a fantastic job at our wedding! I loved their online program that allowed me to choose songs leading up to the wedding that I wanted played during out reception. The day of, Hannah was super flexible with us and our guests had an amazing time! They have all the equipment needed and even provided up lighting at no extra charge. Highly recommend DJ Stoltz Records!!!

Dave was super friendly and very helpful through the whole process. He met with me when I asked to go over music -- even a week before my wedding day. The only things I was disappointed with was that he didn't show up for the rehearsal (after I had texted him to ask if he was on his way when rehearsal was about to start, which he said he was watching his children and would not be able to make it?).
So getting the timing right was a struggle (if I had known ahead of time, we would have brought a speaker). He didn't remember what song to play when. For my fiance and wedding party walking - he asked her what song they were walking to right before the ceremony was about to start. I was just a little sad when the Kiss the Girl from the Little Mermaid was kind of missed for the first kiss at the ceremony like we had planned and discussed. Then our first dance song that was played wasn't the correct song. I was just bummed over this. Other than that, he was friendly

We were so fortunate to get David as our DJ. We were planning our wedding from Los Angeles and had to deal with vendors via email and phone. David always responded right away. Not only was he on top of things he has a massive music library! He was kind enough to meet with us a few days before the wedding to go over everything. He is very experienced.
He did our music for the wedding march as well. When it was time to go inside he was a wonderful MC and all the songs flowed perfectly! We hall had such a wonderful time, we would highly recommend him!

We hired David (DJ Stoltz) after considering several DJ's in the region. We spoke to one of his references, who recommended him. We compared him to others and found the pricing was very competitive. Our wedding was in August, but I think we decided on him in the Feb/March time frame. David was easy to work with. For us, Oregon was a destination wedding so most of our communications was done via e-mail and phone - including Skype.
He was very flexible in terms of how we chose to engage. If you have an exact list of songs, he can execute on that. If you just sort of know that you'd like a bit of pop most people in their 30's would like, he can execute on that. We needed him to bring 2 sound systems, which he did. He also provided some simple lights for the dance floor and extra mikes for the Reverend and for a speech by the Best Man.
Our wedding was in the Willamette Valley so he had to travel from Eugene. David showed up in plenty of time and was set up appropriately. He worked with our requests and added a lot of his own and it was a really great day. We have no hesitation recommending DJ Stoltz. Rahul & Kristen

He was so great! He showed up before he said he would had everything set up, and was extremely courteous and friendly. He even comforted my puppy when he got stung by a bee. It was apparent that David really knew what he was doing, all moods were perfectly set all evening, he played all the songs I requested and none that I told him not to. He did a great job about being flexible with the timing of things at my wedding. (Cake cutting, first dances etc) he also had access to a wide variety of songs not typically played at weddings, as the final song of the night for me was 5000 candles in the wind he had no problem getting that for me. I cannot recommend him highly enough!

DJ Stolz is the best DJ! My husband and I had requested a late night dance party for our wedding( aka...no curfew!). Not only did DJ Stolz happily accept our request to dance all night long, he had the best playlist and continued playing music until the last person left the dance floor (me...the Bride...and my two sisters)! We danced until 3:30 am.
He also went above and beyond and helped the catering staff in order to keep up with the planned flow of events (e.g., passed out champagne flutes, poured champagne, etc.). We continue to recommend DJ Stolz to all of our family and friends. Thank you for making our wedding so special and so much fun!

Absolutely amazing! David was super helpful and always communicated with us in a timely manner. The music was perfect for the occasion and crowd. David was always professional, and was very fun and friendly at our wedding. He also serves as a last minute coordinator as we never really worked out a wedding schedule. He was a great mc, his equipment was perfect no worries about mics or anything for our officiant and toasts. I would highly recommend David for any occasion especially a wedding! He was great to work worth and be apart of our big day!

He always responded to our emails and even talked to us via FaceTime before we booked him for our wedding. He showed up EARLY at our venue to set up his equipment and to our surprise set up lights all around our venue! They really made it look so fun and inviting!
