Powers Studios

I booked Powers Photography for our engagement and wedding photos and we absolutely loved working with our photographer, Tatum! She was so lovely to work with, very warm and professional. She was excellent at giving us posing direction, even in public, populated places during our engagement photo shoot. Anything we asked her to capture during the wedding she did, and she was very familiar with our venue so she guided us to some pretty cool locations. I can't say enough about our experience with Tatum, we had SO much fun with her, and I'm sure we will be working with her again for other life moments :

Powers Studios was a great choice for us. Working in the Portland wedding industry, I was familiar with their work and reputation. One con I would say is their system of matching photographers based on a survey - just not quite the same experience as meeting your photographer in person when you're booking, as opposed to at a later time. That being said, we were matched with Zach Holden who was AMAZING.

The pictures turned out gorgeous, and we felt that the second photographer was worth the extra cash as well (we had a big bridal party, so she took the groomsmen/women and he took the bridesmaids - she also took a lot of shots of the cocktail hour, detail shots of the reception, and our guests while he was doing family photos). My husband and I aren't especially comfortable in front of the camera, but he made us feel really comfortable and told us (nicely) what to do so that the photos turned out wonderfully.

He even pulled a bobby pin out of his camera bag during family photos for my younger sister! Overall, we were very happy with our experience during the wedding, as well as the finished photos.

We thoroughly enjoyed working with Powers Studio and our photographer, Jennifer! We came to Powers a little bit differently from most couples, as we had to find a last-minute photographer a month before our wedding when our previous photographer fell through. We had quick responses from the Powers team and they were able to match us up to a great photographer.

The staff and both of our photographers (Jennifer and Krishna) were professional and well-experienced, which we truly appreciated. Before our wedding day, Jennifer made sure to meet with us to go over the schedule for our wedding day and also discuss our shot list that we wanted. We just got our wedding photos back and we are very satisfied and happy with the results! We got all the shots we wanted on our shot list and our wedding was photographed beautifully!

Powers was great to work with! We went with them after a first consultation, where we felt very comfortable. We then went through a bunch of photos and filled out the survey they provided, and they assigned us a photographer. We really liked Lindsay! She was wonderful to work with! Everyone responded fairly quickly to our emails, and when I asked for additional hours and a second photographer, they were able to add this to our package, including keeping the discount we got for our venue!

We adored our second photographer as well! They were so great, helping us day of get the photos we wanted, and helping deal with our families. I would highly recommend working with Powers!

Having Powers Studios photograph our wedding was an excellent choice! Zach, our photographer, went above and beyond to ensure we got all the shots we wanted. He made us feel so comfortable and at ease; he completely captured our genuine feeling of just pure happiness on our wedding day. Our engagement and wedding photos are something I will forever treasure and I cannot recommend Powers Studios enough!

Powers was the best decision we made on our wedding day. Immediately after meeting with Powers I knew they were the one and they certainly did not disappoint! They were so easy to work with, very friendly, and made the whole experience stress free! We worked with Cameron as our photographer and LOVED working with him! He made it easy to relax (we both tend to cheese out in photos), made it a fun experience, and I have never met a photographer that works as hard as he does!

On our wedding day he was running around like crazy to get every shot possible! Our photos turned out incredible and we have so many good ones to choose from. I would not recommend getting wedding photos done by anyone other than Powers Studios.

Powers Photography Studios was wonderful to work with. We were matched with our photographer Amy and she was an absolute delight to work with! She was very responsive to any emails sent. We met about a month before the wedding to go over the photos we absolutely wanted. For the day of the wedding, she was very attentive to the details of the wedding (which is exactly what I wanted in my photos) and I cannot wait to see the photos! I would highly recommend them to anybody who wants amazing photos as they are worth every penny!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Powers Photography! Honestly, I'm not sure my husband I could have planned our wedding without the help of our photographer Zach! He was so great and patient throughout the process and the whole wedding day, and he also takes AMAZING photographs! We were able to meet him for drinks a couple times before the big day and had a quick engagement session to get comfortable being in front of the camera.

He was always up for trying new and unique shots, but was very attentive and aware if we were getting tired, wanted alone time, needed to adjust, etc. during the day. He was always so relaxed and happy to be around. And the support you receive from Powers studio from day 1 is phenomenal! They have the booking process so locked in, but still treat each couple individually.

You get matched with your photographer based on your style and personality, so you know you're going to have the best fit and energy on your big day. Good photographs are amazing, but spending 8-10 hours on your wedding day with someone you feel comfortable with is paramount! Seriously, if you are newly engaged, RUN to Powers immediately. They are the BEST!

We used Power Studios for our wedding photography in September. Paul was our photographer. He was easy to work with and our photos turned out great. Powers has each couple do style matching surveys to match your style up with the most compatible photographer style-wise. The company as a whole was very responsive from the early inquires to the post-wedding photo delivery and print ordering.

Very pleased with the level of service that Powers provided. Would highly recommend them to others. We also got a great discount due to the fact that Powers were a preferred vendor at our chosen venue.

From the minute we met Powers Photography Studios, we were impressed with how personal they made the process of choosing a wedding photographer feel. In our initial meeting, we were invited into their studio, offered a drink, and sat on a comfortable couch to review their services. We immediately felt we were treated with a sense of priority, as I am sure all their clients feel.

We booked within 24 hours of our initial meeting, without meeting with any other photographers - we just knew that Powers was going to give us high-quality service and a product we would be thrilled with. Their photographer matching system is spot-on and we loved how simple the process was. Our photographer met with us before each engagement shoot (2) and the wedding.

He took our feedback each time, and got the shots we were looking for. I knew he was going to be great, but he definitely went above and beyond the day-of the wedding. At different points throughout the day, he re-tied the sash on my dress, brought me water on the dance floor, and ran around my husband and me with sparklers to get the perfect end of the night photos.

All throughout the process, the communication was just fantastic, all of our questions were answered, and everyone at Powers was super easy to work with. We would highly recommend Powers to any couples looking for a wedding photographer!
