We have used this catering service three times through the years. The food is incredibly delicious. The attention to details is exceptional. We have never been disappointed with them. We highly recommend them for any function, large or small, that you may need.

Preferred Sonoma Caterers catered our wedding, and we're so pleased with our experience with AnnieLaurie, Karen, and the team! Since many of our guests would be from out-of-state, we really wanted to showcase fresh, local California cuisine, while making sure that no one would leave the wedding hungry. They came as a recommended caterer from both our venue and our wedding planner, and we are thrilled that we went with them!

During our first phone interview with the team, my fiance at-the-time and I were impressed by their professionalism and curiosity about our preferences (previous caterers we'd spoken to seemed a lot less concerned about our preferences, either because they couldn't accommodate a variety of options or they didn't care). At our tasting, we were impressed with the presentation, freshness, and care put into each of the dishes, and we knew we'd found our caterers!

During the wedding processes, the PSC team was incredibly flexible and responsive to our several rounds of menu changes and rental changes (they handled our rentals for us, as an extra bonus). On the day-of, AnnieLaurie and her team executed a beautiful meal, wonderful bar, and all-around exceptional wedding experience for us and all of our guests! AnnieLaurie and her staff on-site were simply AMAZING. AnnieLaurie was SO HELPFUL throughout the day, checking in with us regularly and even offering to help when I needed to fit in a quick bustle minutes before cocktail hour ended.

My husband and I unfortunately missed cocktail hour due to photos, but AnnieLaurie left us a plate of the different appetizers AND got us cocktails so that we could get some nourishment in before dinner :) She made sure we got our food first and that we always had enough water and alcohol, and even helped keep us on schedule. Even though many couples say they end up starving at their wedding, AnnieLaurie and her staff made sure we were well-taken care of!

They not only extended this graciousness to my husband and I, but to all of our guests as well! All of the guests were SO IMPRESSED with the PSC team's professionalism and attentiveness, and everyone RAVED about the food (ESPECIALLY THE LAMB LOLLIPOP APPETIZERS). We are SO pleased with our experience with PSC! They are such a joy to work with and go above and beyond in ensuring the success of your event. We are very much looking forward to working with them again in the future!

I ordered their pre made Thanksgiving Dinner this year. It was amazing! I had 14 guest and everyone comment on how delicious the meal was. Reheat direction were easy and I was able to do it all with just one oven. I was able to enjoy the day since they did all the work! There was not a single thing I would change about the meal.

I own the Mountain House Estate wedding venue and highly recommend Amber and the team. Karen, the banquet captain and her team for two weddings here this weekend once again knocked it out of the park. I can't say enough positive things about my experience with Preferred Sonoma Catering! We worked with them for our wedding in 2021 (booked in 2019 but due to COVID had to postpone). They are the best of the best! We worked with Karen for the majority of the time - she is absolutely amazing! I felt like we had a full service wedding planner, caterer, advice giver, all in one.

And the best part, their food is AMAZING. We had so many guests tell us that it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. My husband and I feel the same way! We are still drooling over the dinner - braised short ribs & Mary's chicken breast. Presentation was perfect, the food was delicious, the staff is a dream, I could go on and on. We even got lucky and they packed us up a few boxes of dinners for us to eat after our wedding.

We are working with Preferred Sonoma Caterers for our upcoming wedding, and the experience has been amazing. Karen is extremely nice, knowledgeable, and responsive. We recently went for a tasting and the service was absolutely incredible; the food was great and we had a great time trying to figure out the table decor. Absolutely recommend!

My husband and I, (45 & 49 years old), have never written a review. We feel compelled to write a review for Preferred Sonoma Caterers as they far exceeded our expectations and provided us with an unforgettable experience from beginning to end. The first conversation I had with Karen, the Lead Event Planner & Banquet Captain, several months before the wedding, blew me away.

I felt as if I had called a wedding planner instead of a caterer! She asked me questions about my vision and helped me create one since I was pretty clueless about all the details that go into planning a wedding. She Instantly made me feel at ease and taken care of. I looked no further and I recommend you do the same! I was so enthralled with the service she provided that I even changed my wedding date to fit their availability! Karen took excellent care of us every step of the way.

Her attention to detail is unsurpassed. Her communication skills are unparalleled. The day of the wedding she worked closely with my sister to make everything flow seamlessly. I can't find the words to describe how grateful we are for her guidance, and most of all, her patience and understanding. The rest of the staff were also amazing. They worked so hard and went above and beyond to make the event a success.

They showed up hours before to ice everything down, check propane heaters, set up our floating candles, etc, etc, etc. They stayed late into the night picking everything up and making sure that they left the property in pristine shape. The next day the owner of the property said that you couldn't tell anyone had been there. Furthermore, many of the guests commented on how the staff made them feel that their experience mattered, taking time to ask if they were having an enjoyable time and tracking on their needs.

The food was exquisite! Amber, the owner and executive chef, was also a pleasure to work with. Not only is she an incredibly talented chef, but she runs her business with the highest of standards and is constantly giving to our community. We thank Preferred Sonoma Caterers from the bottom of our hearts for making our wedding dreams come true. We hope you let them do the same for you!

Sonoma Preferred Catering always exceeds our expectations. From the moment we reach out to them with a catering request to every detail in the middle they handle each communication with the highest level of professionalism. They are truly a delight to work with. The menu planning and food are outstanding. I have had the privilege to work with them on a number of events over the last decade and the quality of their food stands out far and above the other caterers.

This last weekend I hired Sonoma Preferred for a small 60th wedding anniversary celebration and used their casual catering to go. The menu included Sonoma Bounty Charcuterie, Shrimp Avocado Mango Fresh Roll, Crab Cakes with Basil Mayonnaise, Sesame Five Spice Chicken Poppers with Thai Peanut Sauce. The food pick-up, the carriers they provided for the food and the food itself were delicious. I would highly recommend Sonoma Preferred Caterers for any event, large or small.

Such great food. I was in a last minute bind trying to find a caterer for my parents very intimate anniversary dinner and I am beyond happy I found them. Edie was so helpful and friendly. She was on top of everything I needed and within a week I had planned and pulled off the most important part of a dinner - the food! Thank you Edie & team. My very picky father had no complaints.

We loved the salmon, veggies, salad and tortellini and not one thing went unmentioned as to how amazing and fresh it all tasted. Will definitely be doing business with them in the future and will recommend to all!

Sonoma Preferred Caterers We have used PSC for parties for several years but this Covid-19 year has expanded our appreciation of their services. Last Christmas we ordered their Prime Rib Christmas dinner so that I could stay out of the grocery store, and support local business. Everything about that order made my life easier. Pick-up was so well organized, the cooking instructions were perfect (they even included a meat thermometer to make sure our Prime Rib was properly cooked) and the food was outstanding.

The meal was such a huge hit that I checked their website for Easter. I ordered the Easter brunch and it was just as wonderful as our Christmas dinner. Our family has decided that we will make PSC holiday meals our holiday tradition. Not only has my workload been reduced, but the cost is totally reasonable and the food is superb.

Not sure I have ever Yelped these guys before and that is my bad, they are that good that I should Yelp them every time. I've ordered Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter dinners from them over the years and it is amazingly delicious every time. Christmas 2020 was a BREEZE for me as all I had to do was heat, toss and serve. But let's talk about the Easter dinner last weekend. glazed spiral slice ham and cheesy potatoes that will make you cry.

Each component comes with instructions, PSC could not make it easier. All I did was set the table, decant the food into bowls that made it look like I had spent hours in the kitchen and sit down to eat. No one was disappointed and everyone was smiling. Think a caterer is only for an event somewhere else? Think again, these guys make holiday dinners memorable. PS - I've used them for catered affairs too and they rock that world just as well as they do home events. They do not disappoint and you will not regret using them.

I simply cannot write enough good things about the PSC tea and the quality of their food. I have a local business that provides luxury picnics to our clients and it is imperative that the food match the experience in looks and taste and PSC never disappoints. From a picnic client perspective-our clients rave about the food to the point that we have never received a complaint but they also LOVE the packaging.

Even when food is placed into disposable boxes PSC takes the time to tie it up with cute twine and greenery to ensure all items maintain the vibe of a fancy picnic. The team is also so gracious when answering client questions about dietary restrictions. From a business collaboration perspective- PSC is up for a challenge! We Toss around so many ideas and they are always up for a challenge and we always end up with fun offerings my clients are not expecting. I love their ability to pivot and make it all seem effortless. If you are looking for a caterer you cannot go wrong with this team!

We had never ordered a thanksgiving dinner before but alas our oven had broken. I can't say enough wonderful things about both the food and service we received! Everything was so delicious and amber had given great instructions on how to heat it all without an oven. Thank you everybody at ps caterers for making our meal so memorable and successful!

We picked up their food for a Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings. Loved it so much that we decided to do try the Christmas dinner. Wonderful food, delicious and Edie is warm and lovely. Highly recommend!

This was the first year we decided not to prepare our own Thanksgiving dinner. We had previous experiences with Preferred Sonoma, (4 or more) which were all positive, so after seeing their posted menu we decided to have them prepare our Thanksgiving meal as well. We ordered one and a half dinners which fed more than 12 easily. On pick up day, the day before Thanksgiving, we arrived with their having everything ready to go in boxes, including re-heating instructions.

The pickup was very orderly and we were in and out in no time. Bravo. I can safely say we will never cook another Thanksgiving dinner. The food was amazing, more on that in a bit, but no pots and pans to wash, no prep time other than re-heating, and the Oatmeal cookies they included as a thank you were simply Devine. On to the meal, the Turkey was excellent but the real winners were the maple candied yams, the gravy and the stuffing.

I never thought I would hear my son say he liked yams, but he went back for seconds. The only problem with the food was it was so good I didn't have room for the dessert, the apple streusel pie. I had to eat it the next day.oh darn! Don't hesitate to give them a try. Now we are considering their Christmas dinner.

The entire team at PSC are outstanding. We booked them as the caterers for our Sonoma wedding in June 2020 because of their warmth, professionalism and absolutely delicious food, but when we ended up needing to cancel the wedding because of COVID19, our experience navigating the unprecedented situation with them made an otherwise awful situation incredibly positive. They truly put their customers above all else. I am already thinking of how I can work with them on any future event we host!

Preferred Sonoma Caterers is extraordinary! They catered our wedding last month, and they did a phenomenal job. Amber, Edie and the entire team are wonderful to work with - they made the entire planning process easy. We were impressed by how much they handle. we went in for a tasting, and when we left, we had picked out our place settings and all of our rentals!

Our wedding day was absolutely perfect. We received so many compliments from guests on the food and service. Many said it was the best food at a wedding they've ever had! The PSC team also did a fantastic job of taking care of me and my husband. It seemed there was always a server nearby to check on us, make sure we were well fed, and had a full wine glass : We are so happy to have worked with PSC, and highly recommend them!

Preferred Sonoma Caterers did a phenomenal job with our event, "Pints for Paws." They listened to our needs and provided the perfect menu for our event with a focus on vegan and vegetarian choices. We couldn't be more pleased. We received many compliments from our guests as well. The ratatouille dish was OUT OF THIS WORLD. Everyone at PSC was courteous and professional. Sonoma Preferred is the best catering company! Delicious, healthy, locally sourced when possible - the food is delectable without breaking the budget. So easy to work with, community minded, and full of solutions to every problem! We use them every year!

Amber and Edie are truly what made our wedding day so flawless. Amber came to the wedding venue with us beforehand and walked around, showing us how the day would go. Her many ideas to fit our budget were outstanding. Edie was always so responsive whenever we had a question or change in plan. The food was DELICIOUS. We got so many compliments from friends and family about how mouthwatering everything was.

We absolutely love the way our wedding day turned out and a huge thank you goes to Amber and her team. We really appreciate all they did for us and would recommend them to anyone who wants to have THE PERFECT DAY!

Preferred Sonoma Caterers provided the excellent menu of goodies at the Hansel BMW Holiday party and could not have been better! The wonderful staff generously made the rounds with incredible hors d'oeuvres, hot from the mobile onsite kitchen in a tent, including a crab tartlet and a Korean short rib piled on top of sushi rice cake, scrumptious!

In addition to the excellent hors d'oeuvres was a hot bar of melt in your mouth short ribs and the best mash potatoes I have ever tasted! Of course they had a premium charcuterie table and a desert table too! If your hosting a premium event in the area, I have no idea what the cost would be, but I would certainly obtain a quote form PSC.

9/18/2018 SIMPLY AMAZING! We can't say enough praises on how wonderful Amber, Edie, and the entire team at PSC are. We got married at the Secret Gardens and knew that we wanted a caterer familiar with the quirky setup of the venue. This team is the one to hire! We knew we were in good hands from the beginning; Edie was super helpful and very responsive, and Amber made the entire process easy, seamless, and fun.

In fact, they were so fantastic that we asked them to caterer our brunch on the bluffs the following day. The FOOD! Our friends and family are still talking about how amazing the food was at the wedding. I work in hospitality and know how difficult it is to run a banquet event and to maintain the food quality. We had two passed apps, the bounty cheese & fruit display and added charcuterie; two types of salads family style, and a full buffet with chicken, braised beef, farro, veggies, and ravioli (these were mouth-watering).

For dessert, we had their classy cups and s'mores, and asked that they assist to set up our cookie table (hometown tradition). Not only did everything look great, but it tasted even better. We've already had a couple of friends reach out for recommendations! A huge THANK YOU to this entire team - you've exceeded our expectations. If we can give a better rating, we would.

We highly recommend PSC, and suggest that you contact them if planning an event in or around the Sonoma/Petaluma/Bodega Bay area. They will be the first ones we call should we host an event that way again.

My wife Jill and I used PSC to cater our wedding in Sonoma and we couldn't have been more pleased with the quality of service and knowledge Amber and her team provide. Their service goes beyond food, which was exceptional. We planned our wedding from Texas and she was always willing to send my wife the information she needed, including linen samples to match with our colors.

I couldn't imagine any caterer being more accommodating or easy to work with. They made the day-of so easy for us. We didn't have to worry about any of the set-up or take down, her team hit like a storm and everything was in its placed and looked incredible. Not sure how we could have pulled off such a wonderful day without Amber and her team. I really don't think you will find a better team than Preferred Sonoma Catering for your event!
