Our hours are Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Yes and no. Appointments are only required for alterations, steamings, tuxedo fittings, and any of our on-site services. You do not have to make an appointment to view dresses or select tuxedos, but we do encourage it.

Love Carolyn Allen's. They were the fourth or fifth boutique I looked and the only ones able to help. Apparently getting married in four month is fast so finding a dress in my size in that time frame wasn't working. I love the one-on-one attention they give and their book of dresses is very helpful. Seeing a dress on someone else is not the same as seeing it on a rack. Sue was incredibly sweet and did everything to make sure I felt like a million bucks on my special day.

I had the best experience here. I came in to the store stressed as I had a bridesmaids dress for brothers wedding and found out I was pregnant with twins. thankfully the dress had many layers to work with but the alterations were the best. When I picked up my dress after it was done. my stress lowered because it fit so well and had room to grow a little. the family was kind, considerate and very easy to work with.

Carolyn Allen's Bridal & Tuxedos did a fantastic job when steaming my ball gown wedding dress and my husband's tux! They arrived on time in our hotel room for the appointment and were very professional! I'm so happy I went with them when getting my wedding dress ready for my Disney Fairy Tale Wedding! I had flown in Orlando from out of state for my wedding with my dress in my carry on and you wouldn't have even know it by the look of it after the appointment! I would definitely recommend them for future brides/grooms/wedding party! :

Came in on a Tuesday at 2pm. All we wanted to do was browse the selection of dresses. We were told there was another person coming in at 2:30 for an appointment and they would not be able to help us. The lady that greeted us was incredibly rude and not welcoming at all. The shop had a weird smell to it as well. We'll be taking our business elsewhere to more hospitable bridal boutiques in the Orlando area.

A small and friendly shop! I love how I got to view photos of their available dresses in a binder, rather than sifting through racks of dresses. It made it so much easier, especially because I had no idea what I wanted in a dress! They even have their binders organized by price so you can make sure you stay within your budget. Sue and her family always welcomed me with open arms each visit, and made me feel comfortable.

My experience at Carolyn Allen's was amazing. I had visited a lot of bridal stores before arriving at Carolyn Allen and I was feeling defeated in my dress search. When I arrived at Carolyn Allen's the staff was extremely friendly. They gave me time to look through their inventory and then brought out each dress I wanted to try on. They have a huge selection of dresses in all types of styles and this was the first time in my search that I loved every dress I tried on.
I was able to find my perfect wedding dress and Sue did an amazing job on my alterations to make it fit like a dream. I also had an outfit change and they were able to alter that to make sure that it was the perfect fit. We loved our experience so much at Carolyn Allen's that we went back to look and select a dress for my maid of honor as well as rent tuxs for the groom and best man.
After my wedding I brought the dress back to Carolyn Allen's were they sent it off to be preserved with my vail. I just received it back and it looks just as beautiful as the day I picked it out at the store. I can't say enough wonderful things about the staff at Carolyn Allen. They truly make you feel like family. If you are looking for the best bridal and tuxedos store and experience look no further then Carolyn Allen.

I had researched the style of dress as soon as I got engaged. Stella York was the designer that I was drawn too. Carolyn Allen carried wedding dresses and bridesmaids dresses (Sorella Vita). When I arrived I felt very comfortable. As I tried on many dresses the staff was very patient, accommodating and informative. The have been around and seen it all when it comes to weddings.
I also had my bridesmaids buy their dresses there as well. The majority of my bridesmaids went back to get their dress altered there. Everyone of them mentioned to me how nice and accommodating the staff was. I will be going back to them to get my dress preserved, cleaned and would recommend alterations as well! Great place that treats you like family!

I had a fantastic experience at Carolyn Allen's. I purchased my wedding dress at the store and Sue handled the extensive alterations. Sue and Kathleen were so helpful and supportive throughout the entire wedding planning process. Both the dress and alterations were extremely reasonably priced; I would definitely recommend Carolyn Allen's to future brides!

We were on the hunt for my sis for her wedding dress. We had been everywhere. Finally tried Carolyn Allen's. Oh my gosh. What an experience! We got to sit down and they showed us books upon books of dresses they had in store. The prices of the dresses were phenomenal. The thing that made it such a great experience was that it is a family owned boutique.
They made us feel so comfortable and you could just tell they loved what they did and weren't in it to make a sale. I just want to add that my sis searched for dresses at Kleinfeld Bridal in NYC. Customer service makes all the difference in finding that special dress. Thank you to the family at Carolyn Allen's!

I had arranged for Carolyn Allen's to steam my dress the day before my Disney wedding - They were so great to work with! They were so accommodating and it was so convenient that they were able to come to our hotel to do the steaming services. Sue absolutely saved the day - Not only did she do the steaming, but upon arriving in Florida, we discovered that somehow during our travels there were a few spots on the gown that had become discolored. I was absolutely horrified, but Sue was able to get the spots out completely! I was amazed!

This was the third bridal store I've been to with my sister as we've been searching for her dress and this store was definitely a nice little spot. Though we didn't end up finding her gown here, we both agreed that their system was a refreshing change from other boutiques. Instead of having us sift through the dresses on racks and pull them ourselves, they had all their gowns pictured in a binder and had us flag the ones we liked.
From there, they pulled the gowns themselves and let her get straight to trying them on. It made the searching process a lot easier and less stressful since all the information was there in the binder. The space is a little small and you definitely get the small business feel from it. They have a seamstress en suite so you won't have to go anywhere else to get any alterations made, which is always a plus.
Another difference is that they let you go into the fitting room with the dresses alone, when most other places will have the sales associate in there to help you in and out of the dresses. I feel like that's as much w courtesy to you as it is to also make sure you don't trash their dresses lol. The extra privacy was very nice though.

I am getting married in October, and so far I have had the most incredible experience at this shop! There is a bridal store in downtown Orlando nearer to me that carries my dress, but I decided to buy it from here because the owners are so warm and welcoming, and really treat you like family! Not to mention, the seamstress, Sue, is brilliant! I knew I wanted the sleeves of my dress embellished, but wasn't quite sure how to achieve the look I wanted.
She made a suggestion and it totally completed the look! I would not have thought if it myself, and it is clear to me that she is incredibly creative and talented. I can't wait to finish alterations so I can share pictures, but I just had to leave a great review for this shop. I will recommend them to everyone I know!

This shop is so cute and has some amazing selections. I did not buy my dress here but found them for alterations after unexpectedly moving from CT to FL for a job opportunity. The family that owns this shop is extremely friendly, accommodating, and really care about each and every person (and their special day) that walk through the door. They did an excellent job on my alterations and I have no regrets. I would return without question. I loved my experience and have already recommended them to friends.

I started looking for my bridal dress around 2 months before my wedding day, visited a few popular bridal shops in Orlando but didn't find a special dress for my wedding, special customer service or the guidance you need when shopping for your wedding dress. I found Carolyn's Allen's shop conveniently located by the Premium Outlets. I called and got an appointment set up for the same day, I asked if I could bring my 9 month old baby and they actually loved it.
In less than an hour I found my perfect dress! It was a pleasure dealing with this family run business. Everyone is extremely friendly, courteous and professional. They are keen on listening to your needs and finding the perfect dress within your budget. Sue did an amazing job altering my dress and designing straps for me. They were also very helpful in assisting my husband find the right tuxedo rental.

I went here to try on wedding dresses. I liked the set up because you get to go through a book to see the dress and tag which ones you want and they'll pull it for you. This was convenient bc it's hard to tell what a dress looks like when it's on the hanger. There was a few dresses that I liked but I didn't really like the service I received there.
The other bridal places I have will provide you their feedback or give additional selections to determine your like and try to find you the perfect dress. There was very minimal feedback. Also, when I was done, it was like everyone moved on to the next customer. I had 3 dresses I liked but no one sat down and told me the prices or anything so I just walked out. This is a family owned business, however, they can improve on their customer service.

I wanted to love Carolyn Allen's, but it ended up being a let-down. Pros: I shipped my dress to them prior to my Disney wedding, and they were great with communication via email/phone. They delivered my dress and the groom's tux right on time the morning of the wedding, and went right to work steaming the bridesmaids dresses. Everything they steamed (10+ garments) looked great. except for my wedding dress :(. Cons: *very* expensive.
My ballgown wedding dress cost $200 to steam, and they didn't get out a MAJOR wrinkle/crease down the middle of the bodice (going straight down from the middle of the sweetheart neckline)! I was getting my makeup done when they finished, so I didn't really get to check their work in detail before they left. I trusted that it would be perfect.
In hindsight, I wish I could've tried my gown on quickly to make sure that everything was perfect, but who has time for that on the morning of the wedding? That BIG crease showed up in the majority of my photos - what a letdown. Every time I look at photos where it's glaringly obvious, I feel sad that it detracts from my otherwise gorgeous dress.

I don't know how it got this deep crease, but it's really sad, especially given how highly recommended Carolyn Allen's came, how much it was to steam the dress, plus I tipped well. :( I chose not to reach out to them over this because a refund isn't going to change the fact that my dress was creased RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE in most of my wedding photos.

From the begging to the end of my mother wedding the services was beyond my expectations. The entire team was working with my mother and I. Sue help her in what she was looking for her dress for that special day and what else could be done. Do not use this place! My fiance order a month and a half ago for his tux prior to us departing from Germany for our wedding. We explained that we are both military and provided all necessary information and paid prior to our arrival. We had a scheduled appointment so drove from jacksonville to orlando so he could get fitted. His tuxedo was not in!
The wedding was in 6 days. I was so disappointed because the lines of communication on his part failed. We drove back to jacksonville the same day looking for the same style tux at the last minute and found a place that had everything. We are patiently awaiting our refund.

Two of my sons were part of a wedding party. I took them in to be measured for their tuxes, and at that time, I scheduled an appointment for their fittings. We live 30 minutes away, without traffic, so I wanted to make sure I could get there easily. The wedding week, both of my sons tuxes were tight.one could not button his pants. A new tux had to be ordered, as well as shoes.
He did grow, but there were three measurements on the form, completed on our first visit. They chose the smallest, versus the middle, which is the size he currently needed. The bride was coming to pick up the tuxes Wed, and they would give my sons' tuxes to her. I asked if there was a possibility the tux might not make it in. They said a slight possibility, so I asked that they call me so I can make arrangements to get there. Thurs, around 4pm, I get a phone call that I need to pick up my sons' tuxes.
The wedding is about an hour and a half out of town, and we need to be at the church for the rehearsal at 6pm Fri. So, I had to be at CA when they opened on Friday morning. While I was angry, I thought, at least this is over. I have the tuxes, so I won't have to deal with them again. For the wedding, my younger son's shoes were so tight he could barely walk down the aisle.
I complained to my husband that the hemming was horrible, and he agreed. Little did we know, we were just renting the tuxes versus buying them, as we have done in the previous weddings where my husband was an attendant. We paid almost $110 per tux, so I never questioned our ownership. On Mon a.m., CA called asking when I was planning to return the rentals. Shocked, I replied that I thought we owned them, and I had to check my calendar and get back to them. Seconds later, the owner calls, telling me he will charge the groom if I do not return them that day!
Since I was furious, my hubby returned the tuxes. The male owner apologized to him, and my husband said he were very kind. I am still not happy. Personally, I believe my husband was treated better because he's a man.

I loved this store. After having a horrible experience at another bridal store this was great. The store front was misleading however you couldn't ask for nicer people inside. Once I selected my favorites she then picked out a few more similar ones which I loved. This is a family business and you can tell they love what they do. I ended up buying my dress from them!

Selection is ok. Prices are reasonable. But I will not be bringing my money to this store. Here's why: I wandered into the store early morning while waiting to pick up a prescription at Publix next door. When I entered the store I asked if it was alright to browse without an appointment. The response was "You don't have a wedding ring on" (I'm recently engaged and it was being sized).
The man running the store continued to interrogate me, asking when the wedding was and telling me "You know April is a busy season for weddings, right?" Yah, I'm a total moron and had no idea April was a busy month for weddings. When I told the man my chosen (upscale) venue his entire attitude toward me changed. Awful! I'm taking my money elsewhere.

I love them! I got my wedding dress from them, and they were so helpful and wonderful about the dress and were so great with me. Sue really knows what she's doing and I will recommend them to everyone I know that needs a wedding dress, bridesmaid dress, fitting assistance, etc. If I am ever in a wedding, I don't care where the dress comes from, I'm taking it to Sue to be altered. She, and the whole staff are amazing
