At Kosins Tents & Events, our associates are more than promoters of our products & service.
1974: Founded by Gary Kosins, Kosins Rental opened its doors at 203 N. Main St. in Centerville in 1974. Gary believed in creating a store that was based on two core principles: excellent customer service and reliable rental equipment. 1978: Kosins Rental buys Georges Rental, a Party and Tool Rental Business located at 4267 Salem Ave. in Dayton Ohio.
Furthermore, he came to Kosins with over 20 years of experience in audio visual equipment, rental sales and acquisitions. A customer-driven and friendly approach to business is paramount; likewise, Bill has this mindset and attitude toward customers. Bill embodies the message; "We treat our customers like family."
Any Special Event, whether it be a major corporate function, trade show, grand opening, large or small wedding, ground-breaking ceremony, backyard graduation, anniversary, or birthday party, deserves to be serviced by companies that can provide good references from satisfied customers. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Ordered pipe and drip for an event. We did have an issue with one of the sections resulting in us not being able to us it. I wish they offered wtitten or picture instructions for equipment set up or an after hour number for customers in the event problem occurs with pickup orders. Once I made the office aware it was taken care and they were apologetic about the issues. Will definitely be doing more business with them in the future.

I rented a tent, tables, table chairs, ceremony chairs, lanterns and linens from Kosins for my backyard wedding. It didn't look easy getting four 350 pound weights for the tent down to an area near a pool. This was required to hold the tent down since we set it up on concrete. The Kosin's team did a great job setting everything up in a timely manner with excellent customer service.

We had some difficulties when it came to communication. They said they could deliver the chairs a certain day and we confirmed with them, but when it came time to pay the bill we had a large charge on there for having them deliver on that day! Even with the emails showing what they said they would not remove the fee. We also ordered a door with curtains to walk through for our outdoor wedding and they sent one that was absolutely hideous and we later found out was one still being fixed up. It caused a lot of stress on an already stressful day.

Kosins has worked with our church (Washington Heights Baptist Church) on multiple events over the years but recently we rented a large amount of staging while worshiping in our gymnasium. The crew of guys that came to set up were super helpful and set up our stage exactly where we asked them too. We also realized that we needed more steps and the owner himself (Bill) came out to set them up and to make sure we were happy with the stage.
A few months later we had Kosins hang drape for one of our Christmas events and they did a beautiful job and worked with us till we were happy with how it all looked. Planning any kind of event is stressful, but Kosins made it easy and simple. Michelle and Cameron specifically worked with me and were understanding, straightforward and helpful. They helped me through the questions, changes and choices that our association (The YMCA of Greater Dayton) went through during the process. Cameron came to our building to see the space and verify what was possible.
This brought us peace of mind. And Michelle made a layout of the space for us which was SUPER helpful for planning with a number of people. In the end, we had a super successful event! And the guys who helped set up our tables and chairs were also very polite, kind and professional. I wouldn't go anywhere else for event planning. Thanks to all of you! We'll be back. :)

We were not planning on using drapery at out venue, but 3 weeks before our wedding, we visited the reception space and saw their work set up for a wedding that weekend. We thought it looked so nice that we got their business card then and started choosing a background for our head table. They were incredibly responsive to our requests and got us the package we wanted for a very reasonable price. We are so happy we chose to include them in our wedding setup, it added a special touch to the space.

The service from this company to us was terrible. They were supposed to set up chair covers for my brothers wedding, and last minute (days before the wedding) backed out and said they did not have enough crew to set up the chair covers and sashes. And all they could do was say sorry. I would NEVER recommend going through them for anything. They are the most unorganized and unprofessional company I have ever dealt with.
Every time I would speak to someone different they would not know what was going on. They would give me different information every time. Again I would not recommend this company for your wedding or any event. They have no idea what they are doing. Prime Time was way better and easier to go through. They have everything and much more then this company does.

I rented a large tent with round tables, chair and rectangle banquet tables for a residential event. Overall I was satisfied, however there were a few things that could have been better. Staff were all very friendly and responded quickly to emails. The process to reserve the equipment was fast and easy. Everything they offer is listed out in detail on their website with pricing.
When reserving the equipment over the phone the lady told me that before they could set any equipment up I would need to sign some sort of consent form and that it was very important. She couldn't give me a set delivery time, just a time frame and that the men would call when on their way and that they would bring the form for me to sign. The men arrived and did not call to inform me they were on their way and did not have any forms for me to sign.
I showed them the area for the tent set up and they put it up very quickly. The tent looked very nice, however they did not center it to the yard. I didn't specifically ask them to center it, however I figured they were professionals and have probably set up a million tents before and would automatically just center it. They don't set up tables and chairs, they just place them under the tent and have the customer set them up as they want it, which I was expecting because the lady on the phone previously informed me.
It wasn't too bad setting it up myself, however we did have a bit of a hard time locking the legs in place on the round tables, it took some muscle. I also rented a 5 gallon beverage dispenser, which online was advertised as a Hot beverage dispenser, though I was informed would work perfectly for ice water. I did not clean out the inside, because I was assuming it would be clean upon arrival, however it was not.
I poured several gallons of water and ice in it and my guests all had brownish flakes in their cups, which I'm assuming was probably from coffee/tea residue that had been on the inside walls. Highly recommended. I approached Kosins' regarding lighting for a dance and table cloths, the week of our wedding. The staff was very friendly and helpful and gave me good advice on what to use. Their rates were also the most reasonable in the area. When a storm hit the day of our wedding, Centerville lost power and we were unable to use the lights. Kosins graciously gave us a full refund for that part of the rental.
