West coast events helped us have a wonderful wedding for my daughter. They helped us through numerous email and phone calls and during our visit to their showroom. They were all very helpful and friendly always available to give help and advice. We couldn't have had the great event we had without them.

Horrific! We used this vendor for our father's memorial service in Portland, OR and we were completely taken advantage of. My mom just finished her last chemo treatment days before and we had two weeks to plan. Wayne said he'd work with us to help us plan within our budget of $8-10k. We confirmed multiple times as we had other options. I understand a little over budget, but when we got the final bill it was close to $16k, he almost doubled it!
We didn't get the final bill until the night before the event, so we had no choice. We had done a walk through with him and added nothing except for flowers($500). We kept a couple nicer things that were already at the venue, but clearly stated we would switch them out if it would increase the cost. Wayne led me on for over six months saying he would look over the bill and work with me. He has yet to go over line by line with me and simply said he can't help me. Please don't work with this company!

Hiring wedding vendors, you look for more than the perfect rental, you look for the team who will be responsive and help bring your vision to life. Danny and DJ were super helpful in helping us select right tent for our venue and oversaw setup. When we encountered a small problem with the lighting, they stepped up and offered to come adjust the day of the wedding. The overall aesthetic inside the tent was magical once we added our lighting and draping. Thank you for being a part of our special day!

I've been using West Coast Event Productions for years for some of our large nonprofit events. They are truly amazing and I can rest assured that the event will be beautiful every time we work with them. They are extremely knowledgeable and are great at finding the pieces that we need. Not only are do they have a wonderful selection of items, they are good at recommending pieces that I hadn't thought of.
They have a creative eye and always elevate our events to the next level. I also hired West Coast for my wedding last September. I had an outdoor backyard wedding and was tasked with turning the place into a beautiful ceremony and reception. Despite my tight budget, West Coast worked with me diligently to create the wedding of my dreams!

West coast event productions recently supplied the dance floor for my wedding. We also had a tent on hold with them. Sam Lee was awesome to deal with and answered all my questions in a timely manner. The dance floor was perfect and thankfully we didn't need the tent. I'd highly recommend them for any party rental needs Matt and Bernadette

Vendor partner feedback. As a partner in the industry successfully involved in entertainment for many years, I find that when there is money on the table that may be used in many different ways to make an event great - entertainment for example, West Coast will typically find the total amount of money that is available and keep selling the client on props and tables and any other materials until all the budget is gone.
I have had several events where there was money allocated for entertainment but by the time West Coast was done with them there was nothing left. They are more expensive than Peter Corvallis for the same materials. Not a fan.

I was looking into a company to rent some decorations and lighting for my sister's outdoor wedding. I called West Coast Event Productions, Inc to set up and appointment to talk with someone about what they offer and costs. They told me that they do not take appointments so one weekend my sister and her then fiance decided to stop in and talk to someone.
When we got there no one came to greet us and we wondered if anyone was even there. We waited around for 15 minutes and then another couple walked in and we were all just standing around for another 10 minutes before anyone came out to welcome us. At that point the lady who welcomed all of us, told my sister and her husband and I that she was going to help the other couple because they had an appointment and that she was the only one working so no one could help us. Really?!?!
We tried to make an appointment so that this wouldn't happen! How did that other couple get an appointment but we were told that they don't make appointments?!? We were extremely irritated that we wasted 30 minutes waiting around, only to be told that we could not be helped.

We needed some items for a baby shower. Garda at West Coast Event Productions, Inc. helped us to determine how many we would need as well as what we would need. She was patient and immensely helpful. We made arrangements to pick these items up and had not even arrived at home yet when we got the news that the mother to be needed to be placed on bed rest.
We called West Coast Event Productions, Inc. and spoke with Megan and Garda who said just bring the items back and we will reverse the charges on the card. So kind and very generous. ANYTHING we need in the future that West Coast Event Productions, Inc. can supply we will go there! The quality of the items were excellent and the service was exemplary. Thank you so much!

I used WCE for my husbands 50th surprise party at the Hotel Monaco. My vision and my reality were two different visions, at first. Elizabeth worked within my budget and actually made the vision a reality in the end. The WCE team made the room at the Red Star Tavern look stunning. From the flowers, to the tables, lounge area, buffet table, you name it.
I cried when I walked into the room. It looked so great. All I had to do was wait for our friends to arrive and enjoy myself. I had no stress that night because WCE took care of everything. You will not be disappointed using West Coast Events!

I worked with Brian and DJ for my sister's wedding this past weekend on the Oregon coast. From my first phone call with DJ, I had the utmost confidence that my sister's dream beach wedding could be a reality. DJ shared his expertise with me and ensured that we could have a tent on the sand.no problem. He guaranteed us that he would send his best crew, so that everything would be perfect.
Throughout the process, both DJ and Brian were so great to work with, they were willing to match prices of other vendors we had spoken to and were SO kind and very informative throughout the entire process. As the maid of honor, I was unable to be at the beach site the morning of the wedding; however, with the detailed diagrams that I had provided, the WCEP crew set everything up PERFECTLY.
When I arrived at the beach, everything was EXACTLY what we had pictured. As the evening was wrapping up, the crew was patient with us as we enjoyed "just one more song"! They left the lights and sound equipment up as long as possible and took their time packing up so we could continue enjoying every last minute. I could not have asked for a better rental experience and was SO PLEASED with the finished product.
The WCEP crew was so great and definitely turned my sister's wedding vision into a reality. I would recommend them any day! Thank you SO much! ****EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT!**** I will send pics once we get them back.

I used WCEP for my wedding ceremony decor, reception decor and non-personal flowers. They did an amazing job! From the drapery, to the center pieces, to the archway and attached flowers.everything looked great! I really appreciate that they spray paint a lot of their items to make sure they are the color you want and looking fresh. I highly recommend WCEP as they have an amazing array of products (literally a warehouse full that they let us walk through to find our pieces) that will suite any style and they take care of everything from start to finish.

We recently had a company event there and the customer service was horrible. We gave them our budget and when they finally provided us a contract at the 11th hour, after multiple requests, there were numerous up charges. Their service and professionalism were unacceptable and we will not be using them again.

I am absolutely thrilled with my experience working with Becki Duckworth and rest of the team at WCEP. I am relatively inexperienced when it comes to the logistics and planning of event production, so it was such a breath of fresh air working with someone who could literally guide me through ever step of the process. Becki did a fantastic job of letting us know about our different options, making informed recommondations, and handling all of the details from concept through execution.
The quality of our rental items, such as our backdrop, dancefloor, bars, and linens, were all top notch. Everything was delivered and set up on time and smoothly, and we recieved score of compliments from guests and staff alike. I will DEFINITLY be working with them again, and can confidently recommend WCEP to others!

WCEP showed up on several preferred vendors lists from my hotel and also the wedding planners. Figuring that everyone had only positive things to say, this was the place I chose for my wedding rentals. I ended up getting some (60) gorgeous mahogony chivari chairs (which, ironically, it was cheaper to rent a chair than the chair cover + sash), an aisle runner (a nice one - not one of those throw away ones; this was made of real linen), and some pedastals for flowers.
Including the delivery and set up, we paid ~$750, which I found very reasonable. I started working wiht Garda at WCEP. I think our communication was a little less than ideal (I don't think I ever had a phone call returned - though to be fair, I was always calling her back and not really giving her the chance to call back first). Despite my issues, she got along just wonderfully with my wedding coordinator and the two were able to work out all the rentals without much of my assistance (I think the only thing I was needed for was the credit card number!).
When we had a last minute request, my coordinator was able to call her on Friday night (after 6 pm) for changes to my rental for Saturday. That's pretty great service if you ask me!

I use West Coast Event Productions a lot for work, and I regularly find myself telling their employees, "thank you! you are awesome!" at the end of phone conversations/placing orders. I have primarily worked with Becca and Garda, as my work's account is handled by them, but anyone who answers the phone can usually help you track down the (random) item that you are looking for.
We have used other companies for events as well, and I feel that WCEP is honest about returned inventory, has good quality items, and are generally really easy to work with. Their system is also very organized, so you will be billed/invoiced promptly and correctly. Word of warning: Do not put their silver serving utensils in the dishwasher, it ruins the tarnish and you will have to pay their replacement cost! I have a whole pile of once beautiful service spoons!
