Rude rude rude employees! Good options for dresses, if you want to spend some $$. customer service completely ruined the whole trip. Walked out and never going back.

Don't expect any kind of customer service here. Was shopping with my granddaughter and the wouldn't let but one person in the dressing room, absolutely no legitimate reason. Then we were waiting to see her in the different dresses and manager come to us and said we couldn't stand there, then she told me to go some place else to shop. Guess she forgot the customer is the reason she has a job there, unbelievably rude. I wouldn't even give one star.

I was crying every day really having a nervous breakdown. I ordered 5 dresses and nothing looked good on me. I either looked like a fat 40 year old or a grandmother. I'm neither. I'm a 50 year old woman that is still alive and just wanted a mother of the groom dress. I walked into Camille's and was greeted by an associate and started gathering dresses.

She helped me button up and eventually she brought me THE dress. I tried it on and was so thankful that she stuck with me to find the perfect dress. Both associates helped and I told the manager that her associates were fantastic. I am so thankful and very happy with my experience.

We have purchased multiple dresses from Camille La Vie & each time our experience has been wonderful. Staff has always been friendly & helpful. They offer a great selection of dresses from size 0 to plus sizes. Quality of dresses is fantastic for the price. Will continue to come here for all our dress needs.

First time here. Gorgeous dresses! Beautiful store! After we ask for help Had a very helpful sales lady. We were looking for a dress for glamorous family pictures. My daughter fell In love with a dress.

Highly recommend, staff was amazing. Recommend for wedding and prom formal dresses. Great for bridesmaids, mother of bride & mother of groom. Prices beat department store prices.

There are lots of gowns, but they sizes are mostly smaller/petite. they don't have enough sizes for those women that are medium built. I will give them a 5 star , if I could find something for myself.

Manager Nichole got an attitude with us and talked to us extremely rude when we were taking turns by the fitting room entrance while my niece was trying on a dress. We did not want my niece coming all the way out as her bra was showing and there was a man sitting there. I've never been to any place of business where the managers argues with customers and talks with such attitude. will never shop at that location again as we have gave them business for years prior to this.

If there was a -5 star I will definitely give them that, they are not worth one star in their customer service, can't ask to speak to the manager as guess what, the rude and disrespectful Nicole was the manager. If I am going to give you my business, the least you can do is be respectful! Never coming back to this place!'

Hello! I just wanted to say what a great experience it was shopping here today! The customer service was great, especially a wonderful woman named Sarah! You can tell she wants the best for the customers. She did a great job explaining the Covid rules and the wait times. She was very professional, and nice to talk too. Also, I loved the strict Covid rules. It's really great to be able to shop and feel safe at the same time. :

DO NOT GO HERE! These workers are ignorant and rude af. They claim they are privately owned and can implement whatever rules they want as in requiring you to wear a face mask while in there store but yet don't have masks to offer at the door. how is that your policy but you don't have mask to offer paying customers? And have an incredibly rude staff implementing these "rules" when it is not at all a requirement. So they will never receive my business, All they had to do was offer me a mask and I would of bought a dress to pay these ungrateful employees there salary.

I guess one of the employees didn't know I was with him, but my fiance was walking towards me and I saw the employee behind him making fun of the way he walked which is horrendously disrespectful. I can't even explain how livid I am. I demand to speak to whoever is in charge of these girls because I am enraged. Took everything in me to not cause a scene and just set my things down and walk out.

I would just like to say what a LOVELY experience I've had here. My daughter found a dress a little bit higher than our price range but it was worth the customer service! We saw the other reviews on here and called in advance just to understand the whole cutting line situation. They say they usually cut the line depending on the staffing or how long the line is inside for the fitting room. They were one of the only few stores that do still have covid guidelines and we appreciated that! Overall, it was a great experience and will be coming here again!

This review was the straw that broke the Camille's back. Barbie definitely likes this super cute boutique store that is very expensive inside the Memorial City Mall, and I think the main problem with it for me is the pricing. We're not talking about $50 dresses or even $100 dresses - oh no. We are talking about 200 300 400 and even $500 dresses.

Now if you want to drop that on a dress, go ahead, but personally (and I know Barbie agrees) that is not something we're going to be doing any time soon. They're gorgeous though, don't get me wrong. In fact don't get me right. Don't get me at all. Not at this price.

A pretty good dress shop, but the quality and selection can be a hit or a miss. Usually the service is pretty good, however today we politely asked an associate for help on zipping up a dress (the zipper was caught on some lace). The woman sighed, zipped the dress, and muttered "looks a little tight." under her breath. I'm a smaller girl so I didn't think too much of it but this can really effect the age group of girls coming into the store. I guess I'll find my dress elsewhere.

The selection of dresses was wonderful. My girl's really enjoyed looking and trying several styles and colors of dresses today. Even though we didn't purchase anything today, we will definitely be back. We were definitely impressed.

The dresses are nice but quite expensive. There was a dress for $300 that had apparently been there since january of LAST YEAR, the beads were falling off and stitching was now undone, they gave us a discount for $10 off, which was not worth it. The staff members were a hit or miss, I went multiple times, sometimes they were nice and sometimes they weren't.

There was a girl who I needed help from and she kept running away to go text on her phone as she was HIDING from the manager, then a group of boys walked by and she finally started acting like they were the only people to exist

I got my prom dress from here almost 2 months ago and I loved it. Being a plus size girl is hard to find really pretty dresses and feel comfortable in them. There was variety but not as many as I thought, but different styles. I was in love with it and there was many colors to the dress as well. I would go back if I ever need a formal dress for any other occasion. and lastly my dress was $180

No help from any employees. Over crowded from pre-prom crowds. Long line with little to no movement for fitting room. Lines for Disney rides move faster. Dresses are missing beads, are frayed, tattered and in overall poor condition due to shoppers being rough with dresses while digging through racks and or trying them on. Again employees are no where to be found. Pricing is the same at most Harwin shops too. Prom princesses should go elsewhere for better quality gowns.

I cannot emphasize how much I loved looking through this store. I found several gowns that looked like those I would find if looking for dresses above $500 by designers like Ellie Wilde and Sherri Hill, however, not a single dress I looked at was more than $300. Prior to looking at this store I went to Couture House in Spring, H. Harloquin in Houston, Macy's, Dillards, David's Bridal, and Formal Gallery in Houston.

In each of these locations I failed to find more than 2 dresses that seemed that they might work. Immediately at Camille la vie I found at least 10 dresses that I could not wait to try on. I found one that I loved and got it for a great price. There is a variety of sizes, colors, kinds of dresses, with great service and a great layout. Highly recommend all shoppers looking for a prom dress start their search here.

We visited the new Austin location recently and found a prom dress that was gorgeous for my daughter. The store had a huge selection and we selected about 8-10 to try on. The main public dressing room area had many mirrors and was similar to a bridal salon. My daughter actually had about 4 dresses she really loved and the sizes were true to size and fit her perfectly.

We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. They spent a lot of time giving us feedback and advice on the hem length and even offered to order a petite length dress, while holding the regular length dress until the petite one arrived. Brittany was amazing and so sweet and caring in the dressing room area. They were not pushy at all. She even offered some suggestions for jewelry per our request. Sarah, the manager, is the one who offered to order the dress and she was wonderful as well. Actually, they were well staffed and everyone we encountered were excellent.

We really liked the way the store was organized by color in some areas and as mentioned, there was a huge variety of gorgeous gowns. We found the dresses to be high quality and well made.

We visited this location looking for a prom dress. Nice selection in different prices and sizes. We actually found THE dress after shopping many, many stores. The staff members were helpful and we had no issues. They even helped us find our size at another one of their locations. I highly recommend this place over David's, Dillards, Nordstrom and Macys due to the vast selection to choose from.

The dressing room and mirrors remind me a lot of the show say yes to the dress. It truly makes you feel like a princess. David's has that set up if you're shopping for the bride but not prom dress shopping. My daughter really enjoyed the process.

THIS PLACE DOES NOT BELIEVE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. I went here on a whim to check out the bridal selection and the woman working that section was awful! She measured me up and suggested I try on sizes that I knew from the start would be too big on me, she was condescending about the styles I had picked out, she and her friend assumed my ethnicity, she was rude, rushed me, and embarrassed me in front of tons of families there as she marched me out the door to try on dresses in a very exposed setting.

I was mortified. Oddly enough, one of the dresses I tried on that day has still been my top choice, but I have chosen to do business with a much more professional business than this one. LADIES - BEWARE! Do not buy your dress from a place like this - you deserve to feel great when looking for gowns for any special occasion in your life - this place does just the opposite.

After a bridal dress let down, I decided to try an affordable vendor to see if my luck would change. What was interesting about this place is that all of the wedding dresses were in clear plastic bags with all of the dresses saying they were not returnable. You buy the dress and get to take it home. There's nothing wrong with that. The clerks here are polite, but mostly disinterested.

If you want the full bridal experience, this will turn you off. I was willing to let it go, because hey a pretty dress here cost me $780ish. What isn't to like? I tried on a few dresses and when we finally found a dress that was okay, what made me say no was the fact that the dress itself had so many issues. For instance, there was a black dot, like a marker, at the back of the dress.

Inside there were makeup stains. It was kinda gross. The dress didn't look "dirty" on first look, but when a friend and my future sister in law pointed out the spot and taking into consideration whoever wore this before me truly believed in using a full bottle of foundation, this wasn't the dress. They do try to make knock offs of designer gowns and some of them can be very pretty, but I found that aside from the icky dress I liked, they simply were not flattering on me.

To their credit the clerk did offer to special order the one dress I liked, but I didn't want to pay for shipping and as I wasn't crazy about the beading. I didn't think it was worth it. Who is this place for? Girls wanting prom dresses and brides who absolutely LOVED the dresss, but want to direct order a nice clean one, not take the one off the rack home. If you're just eh about the dress, don't get it. It's not worth it.

This place had really nice dresses and their sizes are true! These reviews say the dresses were dirty and what not and that the employees were rude, but my experience was the complete opposite! They have BEAUTIFUL dresses and I found a $300 dress there that I fell in love with compared to and $1000 dress I found somewhere else! Their employees are great and very opinionated in the best ways!

Worst customer service ever. Staff is clueless. They were willing to lose my business based on shipping charge discrepancy. Unwilling to admit they made a mistake and mis spoke. Julie the district manager happened to be in the store, when my daughter and I explained to her what we were told and what actually happened she could care less. Will never spend another dime. As we were leaving the store with the dress we special ordered, the alarm sound 3 times before the could get all of the sensors off the dress, not exaggerating at all.

Seems to be short-staffed and the staff there seem to be worn down and tired. But it IS prom season so I guess that's to be expected. The dress selection is great.and appear to be arranged from lower priced to outrageously priced. It all depends on what you want to spend. However, the first dress my daughter tried on, we bought. It was perfect.

Very classy and not your typical "looks like every other dress around" kind of dress. We travelled from Austin to Houston. And would I do it again for the right dress? Absolutely.

Went with friends to shop for prom dresses. They had a lot of the same dresses that the department stores did, but even more colors! Surprisingly, also, the dresses were cheaper, though not by much. Staff was pretty much non-existent, and it seemed like we had to wait forever before being allowed to go into the dressings room. There's a wide variety of dresses, shoes, and accessories, and everything looked to be in good condition. Overall, a good place to find a dress, just don't expect to get it quickly.

I will say these selection is amazing. I found there simply was not enough staff around to help. Some of them were not nearly dressed and hard to identify as employees. Still, I would be lying if I said I did not love this store, warts and all. Quick update: the last few times I went, mind you I am doing homecoming and prom shopping, the dresses were in wretched condition such as broken zippers, poor material quality, and ripped beading. I was pretty disappointed in it today. Still it had a better selection than almost every other store I went to.
