By the time she was 20, she began working in restaurants as a server and worked up to being an assistant manager of a large chain steak house restaurant. When she was 30, she was elected to the position of Convention Chairman for the California Federation of Women's Clubs - California Juniors. She was entrusted to plan the annual convention for 500 women including the lodging, the catering, and the entertainment. She studied business at Santa Rosa Junior College and completed all of their culinary courses as well.

Cooking Classes Report

Students participate in the preparation of the various dishes for the style of cuisine they have enrolled in. Students will receive copies of all the recipes and will dine on their efforts. Students should wear comfortable clothing and rubber-soled shoes. Aprons will be provided for those who wish.
