Incredible charm at a great price! These renovated 1930's artist apartments are super cozy and quaint. We stayed in the"Ivy Cottage ". We had a working fireplace that they stocked with wood and had a private patio where we ate our dinner from a wonderful restaurant they recommended. Emily checked us in and showed us to our room personally. We could not have been happier with her! Breakfast next morning was yummy as well and the breakfast room overlooked the adorable grounds! Wished I had been staying more than 1 night!

Everything about this gem is lovely and comfortable. The cooked-to-order breakfast is delicious, served in the peaceful dining room. The fanciful Bart Prince structure that looms above and frames the entryway is an architectural gem seldom mentioned in tours but well worth enjoying, created by one of Albuquerque's most cherished architects.

This is not your standard hotel. It has so much character in the Casita. It is not a new building. I'm guessing 1940s or 1950s? So the quirks of the building are expected, but the fireplace, large living room, cute setting, walk ability to old town and the aquarium made it a wonderful stay. Extra friendly hotel staff and a breakfast that is delicious and more enjoyable.
Ice machine is in a turquoise box on the edge of funky cool gardens. Each Casita seems different (I didn't go in them). Check the bathroom features, our cottage had 1.5 baths and 2 bedrooms which was great, but no shower stall, instead a jetted tub and hand held nozzle which worked fine, but would have been a bit easier with a holder and shower curtain. I would stay there again in a heartbeat because I enjoyed the fireplace so much.refreshed firewood every day was a nice touch! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

My favorite place to stay in Albuquerque, NM! We had a kitchen, the staff was amazing, food was good, rooms were comfortable and quiet. They even had a court yard that was so cozy. They had a band out there but I was taking a little nap and missed the band. It would make a great place for a wedding venue. I will be back here 100%!

While it certainly isn't pristine, it is extremely charming. It feels like stepping back in time in some ways. I love the unique style and background of the hotel. It is a historic building and they have worked hard to keep it functioning with the times, but the buildings weren't built with A/C systems in mind, so set expectations accordingly. It was spacious and felt very safe.
The gardens are beautiful and the staff was wonderful. I adore all of the unique structures and art. I absolutely would go there again, it was actually my mom's second time there. Please consider this wonderful little business if you are in the area.
