Michael's Jewelers is wonderful! The owners provide excellent service and the jewelry is highest quality. We purchased our wedding rings there and absolutely love them! After 3 years of wearing our rings continually even while working outdoors and in the gym, they were looking rather worn. Michael's cleaned and polished them and they look brand new. Wow - great service!

I can't express enough how great of an experience I have had in doing business with Michael's Jewelers! Every time I have been in there both of the owners were very easy to talk to and work with. They went out of their way to accommodate my busy schedule to make time for sizing and cleaning of the rings I bought around their existing appointments. I highly recommend this business if you are looking for quality jewelry!

Dave and Mindy are one of a kind. Hands down best service and heartfelt experience from any jeweler I have ever been! So grateful for this couple to care so much about each 'guest'. I did not feel as if they were in any way, shape, or form trying to make a buck off me or interested in collecting gold nuggets. The whole experience felt like they TRULY wanted to know what would make me happy; listening, being present in the moment, and helping in anyway they can to make my experience as comfortable as possible, is exactly what Dave and Mindy did. I bought my wife's engagement ring there over 10 years ago. Best service I could have experienced. Just today, I went back to purchase a 10 year anniversary ring. Mindi, who owns the shop with her husband, is the absolute best. I gave a her a description and price range of what I was looking for. She was determined to find the right ring and she hit a home run. Michael's is locally owned and LGBTQ+ friendly. The owners are a delight. Love this place.

Really fabulous service and quality. I know Mindy was super helpful in helping my fiance find the perfect ring within our budget. Walked in and the man who greeted me at the door was maskless and shoeless. Thank the stars he was at least wearing a shirt. I turned right around and left. I'll take my money to businesses with some hygiene.

The two of them are fantastic to work with, I brought in several heirloom pieces and they were able to use their expertise to give me a little more info on the pieces. Ultimately we decided to create a new wedding band to pair with one of the rings and the owners were so helpful in helping me pick out exactly what I wanted and even helped "tune up" my heirloom piece and get it set for the perfect moment!

They have continued to be fantastic help with any resizing and are so warm, friendly, and welcoming. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for that perfect piece for that big question! Thank you!

Not only is my engagement ring more beautiful than I could have imagined, the service is incredible. A diamond fell out of my band and they had it fixed and cleaned within an hour, and were absolutely accommodating. We are looking forward to getting our wedding bands and know we'll continue to have great experiences with their team.

PHENOMENAL JEWELRY STORE AND SERVICE! My husband bought my engagement ring from Michael's and it is so incredibly beautiful! We later got both wedding bands from them as well and the quality continues to exceed our expectations. Mindi is extremely helpful and also so sweet and kind. My husband and I recently PCS'd out of Alaska and Mindi continues to provide us with phenomenal service.

Went into Michael's needing to fix a botched wedding band. Mindi went above and beyond to make sure my ring was done to my exact specifications. We were able to salvage part of the original band, and make it exactly what I envisioned. I am so grateful for her assistance in getting my dream ring done right.

Mindi has been amazing. I remember when Michael's Jewelers was in the diamond mall when I was a little girl. I've always wanted this specific ring for years. The right man came along and bought the ring I've always wanted from my favorite jeweler. Walking into their store is an experience in itself. I only buy from Mindi at Micheal's. The ring on my middle finger is from Fred Meyer's not by my choice. Lol.

But who can refuse diamonds. What I love most of all is the craftsmanship of her husband! I hate has sized and resized this platinum ring for me and it looks like it just came out of the show case.

My husband, daughter, and I visited Michael's Jewelers over 10 years ago to look for our wedding rings. Mindi was very welcoming and kind, and she provided the most excellent service while we looked through the phenomenal selection of gorgeously hand crafted jewelry at Michael's. We chose a ring design we loved and our set was custom made for us. It is as gorgeous today as it was the first time I tried it on, and it's provided me with immeasurable joy over the last decade!

Fast forward to today --> my husband ordered an additional band for our 10 year anniversary, and we are both over the moon thrilled that he could order from Mindi over the phone as we are now living across the country. Knowing this anniversary band came from Michael's warms my heart and connects us to that time in our lives 10 years ago. When I was shopping for wedding bands I visited every jeweler in Anchorage along with some out of town and out of state, this was the one I really wanted to come back to. Mindy is a great help with figuring out what you want, she is also very honest about what to expect down the road without sugar coating the pros/cons. Dave is also a gem, no matter the occasion I would highly recommend at least talking to them but if your reading this do yourself a favor and go see them.

I desired a Christian Bauer ring. Mindy was trustworthy in helping us purchase one and shipping out of state to us. It came quickly after placing my order, the packaging was very thorough and I am so happy to have done business here. They paid for shipping too! 10/10 recommend. Alaskans have it lucky!

I did research on local jewelers to take a very sentimental heirloom ring to be resized.it was important to me it would be treated with care. Michaels jewelers went above and beyond. The staff was so kind and approachable and treated me with such warmth. And the ring was returned better than ever. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone in anchorage!

I am beyond impressed by the customer service and attention to detail that Michael's Jewelers provides. When my fiance and I first went there to look at rings that gave us tons of space, didn't force anything, and happily answered any questions we had. When I went to get my actual ring re-sized, they were quick and courteous, and even gave it a clean before I came to pick it up only two hours after I dropped it off! Then, when I lost a diamond during a 3 month trip out of town, they were so gracious with me on the phone, providing clear directions on how to get the ring to them for quick replacement. This was one of the few places we had browsed for engagement rings. What we appreciated was that we were allowed time and space to just have a look and gather our thoughts on different pieces. When it came time to start trying rings on and getting more information, Mindi was extremely helpful and friendly. You don't get bombarded with the vibe that they are trying to sell you something like we experienced at other places.

You sincerely feel like they are there to help you navigate what to some (and it was to me) is an intimidating experience, especially when you're not the kind of person who knows exactly what you want and you need help finding it. We happened to be the only people there for most of our time and loved the undivided one-on-one attention we got.

We asked about what can be done on the ring that ultimately I ended up receiving and I loved the versatility that they offered. I've also gone in to have it cleaned after a couple months and will continue to do so as it is a complimentary service as long as you got the jewelry there. It makes a world of difference. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for jewelry. The knowledge and professionalism are great, they present you with all the things you would want and need.

My SO has bought jewelry from here before and always been pleased with the experience but recently went in to see if they could size a ring for her and was treated rudely. He said he only works on jewelry he makes and doesn't know what to tell her. Granted the ring was bought online but that kind of treatment doesn't make me want to do business with them.

From start to finish Mindi was amazing! I had some rings passed down to me from my grandma and I wanted a new wedding set. I had no idea about the whole process. After reading reviews about how awesome Michael's Jewelers was, I gave them a try and I am so glad I did! Mindi walked me thru the whole process and was very responsive anytime I had questions!

And the RING! Oh my goodness! It is much more than I could have asked for it is absolutely gorgeous and everything I ever wanted! They have GREAT customer service and beautiful craftsmanship! If I could give them more than 5 stars I would!

Honestly this place is the worst. I went here looking to buy a new ring for my wife for our anniversary and I was treated horribly. There is only a man and a wife working and they were working with another couple when I walked in and I didn't even get a "Hello, well be with you in a minute" or anything. So after looking around for about 30 minutes when the other customer left they finally aknowledged my existence.

I told them what I was looking for and they claimed they had exactly what I needed and they showed me something that looked nothing like what I described. After this they got really impatient with me and were trying to hurry it along and pressure me into purchasing something. I explained that I was going to shop around and look at a couple different stores and at that point the owner Dave got upset and was quite rude to me so I left and they will not be getting my service. There prices are 2x's as high as anywhere else in town which is a rip off. Don't go here unless you want to get scammed.

My wife and I have bought wedding rings and another piece or two from Michael's. We've always been treated well and made to feel welcome. It may be our tastes, but the work and craftsmanship seem so very unique compared to other jewelers in town. Tonight I dropped by to have my ring adjusted and Dave did it on the spot. He actually crafted it originally so I appreciate he's here to size it now.

Fine jewelry is certainly an investment - not one we can afford to take lightly, or do often. So it's that much more important to us that we have a local, custom, small business with outstanding choices.

The best part is, although they did not have the exact one in the shop, they were able to customize to get exactly what we were looking for. Amazing experience! Family-owned with impeccable customer service. The jewelry is handcrafted and gorgeous. My engagement ring (picked out entirely by my fiance) is intricate but sturdy and unlike anything I've ever seen. I recommend Michael's without reservation.

Mindi and her husband took really good care of me. I had them make a custom necklace for me as an anniversary gift. They took my ideas to heart and guided me through the creation of a delicate platinum piece. I will be going back for my next jewelry purpose.

When walking into a jewelry store that isn't part of a national chain, you would think everything would be too expensive. My then-fiance was looking for something of exceptional quality in a specific price range and Mindy helped him every step of the way, giving helpful advice. He went straight after work, from his construction job, in his not so clean clothes so I wouldn't be suspicious of him going anywhere.
