My phone rang early this morning with the caller ID showing London, U.K. It was a producer from BBC Radio asking if I would be available in a few hours to talk about a wedding story that was going viral on Twitter. Due to a snafu, his flight arrangements had fallen apart and it was doubtful he'd be able to make it with the high rates of a last minute plane ticket. Thankfully, David had gotten a fair amount of prep work done including the scripted introductions and a Love Story intro for their First Dance. Of course, I had to transfer everything to my own formatting and I did some tweaking to the scripted materials where needed to reflect my own voice.

Peter is the most incredible DJ/MC that I have ever seen or worked with. My husband and I booked him for our Kansas City wedding in June 2018. and, (from our amazing team of vendors), we would have to say that Peter was the best decision we made. Peter is the most dedicated MC. During the first meetings, he will work with you to understand details about your wedding and how to personalize the entire reception.
From there, we worked with him on planning the entire night! Not a detail was left out and it was EXACTLY what we wanted and more! Peter helped us to get our family and friends included in the evening, take a group photo with every guest piled on the dance floor, celebrate birthdays of a few guests, and took care of every worry we may have had about the evening running smoothly.
If you are looking for a DJ/MC who is worth every penny, Peter is your guy. Our reception, was FUN, everyone danced the entire night, and people have been talking about the wedding nonstop. I can't think of how the night could have been better. and it's all thanks to Peter.

Why oh why can't I give more than 5 stars? Peter deserves 100! Want a fun, entertaining, amazing wedding? Give Peter a call, he's hands down the BEST. My husband and I had a pretty small wedding in my parent's backyard and he gave us exactly what we wanted. We have had so many friends tell us it was the best wedding they went to, and it was all thanks to Peter.
My sister is going to have him for her wedding in January and I can't wait to see what he comes up with. I also recommend reading his book, lots of great ideas I hadn't considered. For example: I didn't want to toss the bouquet, I've never been a huge fan of that tradition. So Peter came up with the idea of giving it away to the couple married the longest.
How sweet can you get? Whenever I hear that someone wants to have a friend DJ their wedding or set up an I-Pod with a wedding mix, I cringe. Having a great DJ who takes pride in their work truly makes the wedding. Skip the cake, skip the table settings, and put some money towards your DJ, you will NOT be sorry. Thank you Peter so much, you made our wedding so memorable, we wouldn't change a thing!

The Nations best DJ has made his mark in Kansas City! Peter Merry with Merry Weddings made our reception more entertaining than we could have wished! And your guests will thank you for it. They have raved to me still to this day how much they enjoyed the dj. Starting from the early meeting months in advance to get all of your thoughts and ideas in line. Peter offers a lot of different options and will personalize any thought that comes to your mind.
He guides you through the entire process from every song for entrances, special requests and surprises in between, to the last dance. Every point has a purpose and it opens your eyes to what a good dj is and can do. Peter made this aspect of wedding planning fun and stress free. Peter is amazing! Growing up, I attended a number of wedding Peter did and I knew when my day came I wouldn't have a wedding without him. He's a magic maker. He kicks the party off and keeps the party rolling. He is organized and on top of everything including things you wouldn't even think of. Thank you so much for all the memories on our special day!

If you are planning an event specifically a wedding - Peter Merry is absolutely fantastic. He is easy to work with and customizes your special day the way you envisioned it and makes suggestions that you can choose to use or not. My husband and I could not be happier with the level of service, commitment that Peter Merry brings. After our wedding reception, I thought to myself "Can we do this (reception) again?
We had such blast celebrating with friends and family. I have even thought of calling Peter for our future anniversary to see if he's available to help us make our anniversary a special celebration for us. One of the best DJs in the business! Peter is very professional and on top of things. The rehearsal dinner went so smooth because he knows what he is doing and was prepared when he got there. The wedding day went even better! Peter made the day go so smooth and he had people laughing out of their chairs from his wedding party introductions. He had everyone out on the dance floor afterwards too. Peter did an incredible job and made our wedding day that much more memorable.
I have been to plenty of weddings where the DJ kind of just ruins the reception because he either doesn't know what to say, the music he plays sucks, or he pronounces the names wrong. Not okay. The experience you get from Peter surpasses any DJ at any wedding I have seen or been to. He is truly one of a kind. Thanks again Peter!
