C J Sound

I met Dj Mike Khoury at one of the bridal shows. He had talked to me about what I was looking for as far as genres of music go and I told him I LOVE Disney. After talking we realized I flew home with his wife from our Disney college program and I worked with his sister in law at Wegmans so it was just fate. He was AMAZING at keeping everyone on the dance floor all night long and made sure to listen to my request of no slower songs.

We LOVED when came out and played the bongos for us, so incredibly talented. I had a crazy request of playing piano Disney songs and the office theme song for cocktail hour and he asked no questions and had me make a playlist. I can't tell you how many people came up to me after the wedding saying they want him at their wedding. I had Brianna as our Photo Booth attendant and she was great all night!

She made sure people used the Photo Booth as well as reminding people about my telephone voicemail as our guestbook! Highly recommend CJ Sound for DJ and photobooth services!

CJ Sound is the absolute best option for your wedding. We just recently got married and worked with Mike Khoury, who absolutely killed it. He was very responsive with any questions we had, always got back to me with any information needed right away. Once the day of the wedding came, he took care of everything. Checked in on us throughout the night, asked if we needed anything, kept the guest pleased with all of the music choices.

I truly never saw a dance floor that packed, the entire night. We still are hearing everyone rave about the entire night thanks to you all! Mike really was so down to earth, and genuine about his job. It almost made it like having a friend join our wedding at the end of the night! Absolutely will be recommending Mike and CJ Sound to everyone planning any event, and will 1000% be back in the future when we need any DJ assistance! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

DJ Michael was an absolute blast to work with. Not only was he constantly checking in to see how everything was going and if he should change anything music wise, he would also listen to us when we asked for him to make an announcement. Working with Michael made our day that much easier knowing we didn't have to worry.

I heard great things about this DJ but things have changed. I had trouble getting answers and responses from them. I had special venue pricing which they actually wouldn't agree to and gave me a different price. Then later gave me attitude about how they already gave me a discount when 5 days before my wedding they let me know the ceremony package I paid for didn't actually cover the ceremony and I'd have to pay an extra $300. 5 days before. The DJ Jimmy and the photo booth attendant were wonderful and I really hope they find a new DJ company to work for.

My experience with CJ Sound as the DJ for the my wedding was absolutely the best! DJ Alex was our DJ; Alex along with the management team at CJ Sound were responsive, professional, and flexible. Our wedding was postponed due to COVID-19 and CJ Sound was very accommodating to our change of plans. A few weeks before the wedding, Alex got into contact with my husband and I.

He is so kind and very fun. Everyone at our reception danced, even my 89 year old grandparents (to J. Lo nonetheless). We got so many compliments on the music from our guests and it was all Alex. We gave him an idea of what we wanted and he made it happen! The gold uplights in 500 Pearl looked incredible and really fit the "vibe" we were going for! I would highly recommend CJ Sound for your event-you won't be disappointed!

Had a great experience for our wedding on 5/28 at the Timberlodge at arrowhead. Our DJ, Mike, was great at keeping the party going. He was also so good at making sure everything flowed smoothly. We also got the photo booth package from them, and the attendant, Matt, was great as well. Highly recommend as they gave us everything we wanted for our wedding and more.

CJ Sound was very responsive whenever I reached out for assistance and/or guidance. Their online platform is very user friendly and really made me feel like I was in charge of the music for our wedding. DJ Michael reached out prior to the event to go over our music choices and create a timeline that provided a great flow to the whole event. On wedding day Michael was impeccably dressed, extremely personable and his professionalism and enthusiasm proved he really loves what he does!

We all felt like Michael was part of the family by the end of the night and it was obvious he enjoyed himself as much as we did. That is very important to us both as hosts and the guests of honor. My favorite part of the evening was when Michael joined us out on the dance floor for the last song, because really, All You Need Is Love (The Beatles) and the love was there! Thank you CJ Sound, and thank you DJ Michael for making our wedding spectacular!

Recently we used CJ Sound to turn our Church from a wonderful place to pray into an amazing place to celebrate Christmas. So many of our Parishioners gave us very positive comments about our Christmas Church. And it was all done with lighting and it was professionally handled by CJ Sound.

DJ PAT WAS THE ABSOLUTE BEST DJ FOR OUR WEDDING (August 3, 2019)! He was extremely easy to work with and played exactly what we wanted for our wedding. My husband and I appreciated DJ Pat's willingness to meet us at our home ahead of time! He was extremely prepared with where to go and where to set up on the ceremony and reception property. I didn't have to worry about directing him the day of the wedding.

His smile, personality, and dedication to stick to our song requests was exactly what we wanted in a DJ. Our guests were on the dance floor ALL night! Better yet, I WAS ON THE DANCE FLOOR ALL NIGHT! The music sequence was so spot on it was hard for me to want to leave the dance floor to say goodbye to by guests! In addition, the lighting provided by CJ Sound added a magical touch!

A special shout out to Charlotte, the photo booth attendant, who did an awesome job managing our guests, the props, and photo album! Our blow up photo booth area was a hit with the guests! We could not be happier with the service that CJ Sound provided for our event. They are professional, conscientious, skilled and polished. DJ Dennis was an absolute joy to work with. He had amazing ideas to enhance the vibe of the party. He knew our venue and had specific ideas how to transform the room into a magical party room. Dennis' creativity is unparalleled.

The attention to all details was so very needed and much appreciated. A friend specifically recommended that we hire Dennis and his team, and this choice was the best decision we made and their coordination of all of our elements was perfect. The entire team at CJ was amazing. Brianna was lead on the photo booth was terrific to work with in designing our photo strips to making a scrapbook for us at the end.

The DJ handling our music, Tom, was spot on with our music selections and picking the right music for our event. What we planned was a once in a lifetime meaningful family event, and CJ enhanced it to perfection. Many people write reviews for poor service and do not review for excellence as well. I could more passionately recommend this team. If you can request Dennis, do so. He's energized and passionate.

He accommodated our specific requests both in and out of theme. He gently guided me away from some early music thoughts I had which were really simply not good choices for the event. He guided us wisely and was patient with all of our needs. If we had the occasion to work with them again, we absolutely would do so. Just terrific.

We booked CJ sound for our wedding on June 10 2017. We were very happy with our choice! We had DJ Pat and he kept everyone, all 220 of our guests, on the dance floor the entire time! We actually had to move our tables around to make an even bigger dance floor because everyone wanted to be out there dancing. He made sure to play all of our must-have songs, even playing "La Bamba" about 3-4 times because it was the only song my husband had requested be on the list and he kept missing it!

All of the songs for our first dances, cake cutting, etc. were all played correctly and he even remembered the song I requested for just the two of us at the very end of the night. We also rented a photo booth thru them and it was a huge hit! They did a great job on that as well and we got copies of every photo taken that night which was funny to look thru after the reception! Over all we were extremely pleased and selecting a DJ/Band was the hardest decision we had to make!

Save yourself the headache and disappointment and hire someone else. Their service is not good for an event as big as a wedding. There is a chance you might get a good DJ and things go smoothly but this isn't something you need to chance.

Great job Pat Booth providing excellent music and timely organization to our wedding reception! Everyone had so much fun and the dancefloor was constantly packed! You covered all aspects of our reception needs and when it comes to weddings I would highly recommend CJ Sound and no other!

We were very happy with our DJ and photobooth, and the lighting expertise was a bonus! The night was flawless. You do need to spend quite a bit of time filling out the online form so that the DJ knows what songs to play for events (bouquet toss, bridal party entrance, etc) and you have the option of picking out specific songs to play. We got DJ Jimmy, who was personable and great at MC-ing.

We customized our playlist for dinnertime based on what we love listening to on Pandora (French Cafe style music and some classic 1940's style songs). The photobooth was a huge hit -worth the extra cost! We considered scratching it to help our budget but in the end we kept it and were so glad. At the end of the night we got a large photo album of the photobooth strips, as well as a flashdrive with digital copies.

The uplighting under the cake and under our sweetheart table were romantic and did wonders for the ambiance. We highly recommend allowing CJ Sound to customize your lighting experience. We were invited to one of his events (the Fire & Ice Ball) to stop in and observe his work, which we admired!

DJ Paul Foxe was wondering on our wedding night. We booked CJ Sound for our ceremony music, reception music, photobooth, and all of our uplights. We had many compliments on it. How great the music was, how fun the photobooth was, and how gorgeous the room looked all lit up in our colors. Our DJ kept things flowing all night and made sure everything that needed to get done did. I can't thank CJ Sound enough for their professionalism and how smooth working with them went on our wedding day.

Our DJ from CJ Sound certainly kept the party going - people had a great time. They danced all night long and basically refused to leave our wedding. He took requests, which kept everyone happy. We did have a couple complaints, though. I think our DJ may have gotten drunk? Is that normal? He also kept bringing my husband drinks - and he's not really a drinker. Like, very nice of him, but that's not the DJ's job. Also, he didn't listen to me very well when I listed off what kind of music we did or didn't like.

At least he didn't play any country? And he kept talking. I realize that you need to introduce different parts of the reception, which is fine, but often he would just start talking between or even during songs, encouraging people to do things like stand in a circle around me and my husband to "SWAY! SWAY FOR SAM AND MARTI!" which was just weird and uncomfortable.

If you don't mind having a gregarious DJ, I would hire these guys. If not. maybe do a better job of checking out your DJs before letting your mother just hire a company because she knows the aunt of one of their DJs.
